It doesn't usually go above 27 degrees here...20 is hot enough for me. The temperatures you're all talking about would probably have me wishing I was dead; I have a very low tolerance for heat and I absolutely loathe it. Give me the cold and wet any day <3

moon June 3rd, 2016 10:53 PM

29 C here yesterday. Nopenope!

Now what to eat for a saturday breakfast... Nutella is alright, right?

Ivysaur June 4th, 2016 12:12 AM

I'll always remember that Summer when I enjoyed 47C.

Here in Madrid, we tend to stay at around 35C average.

pkmin3033 June 4th, 2016 2:17 AM

You get used to hotter temperatures the more you're exposed to them though, correct? I expect the UK's average temperature would be fairly cold for a lot of Americans who are comfortable with temperatures that would probably melt me into a discontent little puddle on the floor.

Sir Codin June 4th, 2016 2:31 AM

During the summer it can reach up to 40 C where I live.

#weatherthread

I much prefer cold weather to warm! Meaning, too cold is preferable to too warm. I don't really like being cold either ^^

KetsuekiR June 4th, 2016 2:53 AM

I suppose that's an advantage of living in a tropical country. The temperature tends to stay within 10 degrees Celsius from the norm (around 30-32) throughout the year so you can easily adjust. xD

That said, I do prefer cold temperatures to hot ones. I mean, you can keep adding layers if it's too cold but you can't keep removing layers when it gets too hot. :/

Limey-chan June 4th, 2016 3:11 AM

Here in the North East of England, we get two days of summer a year, and sometimes temperatures can even reach double figures! :o

Gabri June 4th, 2016 5:38 AM

Temperatures over 30C in the summer are quite normal in this country. Rarely goes over 40.

EC June 4th, 2016 7:14 AM

Hasn't rained here in a few weeks.

Yeah, it was something like that for me, too. I took a nap on the couch without meaning to it was so hot. I really hope this isn't the future because of climate change.

blue June 4th, 2016 9:26 AM

Temperature today reached about 17 degrees celcius over here. Considering it usually rains the weather throughout the week has been great and persistently sunny.

And of course it has rained/will rain today. Nice.

I'm starting to understand how Universe felt about weather talk, when I've visited this thread several times over the past day and the topic is still weather aaa

I just went to see X-men apocalypse at the cinema! Am I the only one who really liked the movie haha? I mean not just because Hugh Jackman appeared. Totally. Hrrm.

Daily hug chat go!

Or we could post pictures of adorable animals?

Gabri June 4th, 2016 2:20 PM

I can do that.

I can give hugs too in case someone prefers that!

Esper June 4th, 2016 2:24 PM

Red pandas are too cute for this thread. We might break it.

moon June 4th, 2016 2:36 PM

I LOVE RED PANDAS KLSJdks

and cats. Maybe we should stick to cats, else threadbreaking yes.

Gabri June 4th, 2016 2:40 PM

What about puppies? Give puppies some love too

Spoiler:

moon June 4th, 2016 2:59 PM

I've grown up with labrador puppies around me. They are indeed extremely cute and huggable. And so warm and soft.

EC June 4th, 2016 3:30 PM

If we took a re-vote, do you think a weather section would win the forum frontier vote? {XD}

Cay June 4th, 2016 4:35 PM

I'm a cat person, never owned a dog in my life. I would love either a Corgi or a Shiba Inu, though. I actually start tearing up when I see them IRL.

Speaking of breeding, my friend breeds rats as food for snakes. He has drawers and drawers of just rats, and it really creeps me out when I go to his house. The babies are pretty cute, though, I guess ???
