Battle resort Super Double Team
Hey Guys,
I've been breeding pokemon to try and beat the super double team challenge on ORAS but haven't managed to. I was wondering what teams you used? Personally I've been up to level 47 with the following team shown below: Ferrothorn (leftovers): max evs in HP, rest is mixed between Def and SpDef Nature: Impish Ability: Iron Barbs Power Whip Leech Seed Protect Toxic (my favourite tank. took out 4 pokemon with this beast when all my others got taken out) Starmie (Life Orb): Max Evs in SpAtk and Spd. Rest in Spdef Nature: Modest Ability: Analytic Hydro Pump Psychic Ice Beam Recover Scrafty (Big Root/Assault Vest) Max EVs in HP and Atk, Rest in Def Nature: Adamant Ability: Intimidate Drain Punch Knock Off Poison Jab Power up Punch Talonflame (Sharp Beak): Max EVs in Atk, Spd, rest in HP Nature: Adamant Ability: Gale Wings Brave Bird Flare Blitz Swords Dance Roost I got to level 47 with this team. Starmie and ferrothorn are my opening combo. I've noticed that ferrothorn and is 4x weak to fire which is why i've used starmie to act as my fast sweeper. I don't really have support pokemon who can heal or boost my stats or lower the opponent's stats. Ideally i try and have a fire, grass and water pokemon as they have good coverage but it's hard to fit them all in with only 4 slots available. All my pokemon have 5IVS or more Other Pokemon I've used are: Gyrados (Gyradosite or muscle Band): max Evs in Attack, Spd. Rest in HP Nature: Adamant/Jolly Ability: Intimidate Waterfall Crunch Ice Fang/Earthquake Dragon Dance Electivire: (Shuca Berry/Leftovers) Max Evs in Attack, Spd, Rest in Hp Nature: Adamant Ability: Motor Drive Thunder Punch Ice Punch Cross Chop Earthquake Scizor (scizorite): max evs in hp, the rest is mostly in Def with some in SpDef Nature: Impish Ability: technician Bullet Punch Bug Bite Swords Dance Roost Greninja (Life orb): Max EVs in SpAtk, Spd. Rest in HP Nature: Naive Ability: Protean Hydro Pump Dark Pulse Ice Beam U Turn Lopunny (Loppunite) Max Evs in Atk, Spd. Rest in HP Nature: Jolly Ability: Scrappy Fake out Hi Jump Kick Return Power up Punch Tyrannitar (weakness policy): Max evs in attack and speed. rest in hp Nature: Adamant Ability: Sandstorm Crunch Stone Edge Fire Punch Superpower I've considered using a gardevoir, gallade, mawile, aegislash, lucario, sableye, gengar, charizard x or y and amoonguss (don't have one with hidden ability :( ). Any suggestions would be really appreciated |

I'd highly suggest: Kangaskhan @Kangaskhanite Ability: Scrap -> Parental Bond Jolly Nature 4 HP | 252 Att | 252 Spe -Fake Out -Return/Double-edge -Low Kick/Drain Punch -Sucker Punch/Crunch This Pokemon is just too broken. She can win by herself.. she has won by herself.. Partners? Anything really, just have one Pokemon in the back resistant to fighting types. Some other Pokemon to consider: Mega Salamence Sylveon Mega Charizard-Y Mega Gardevoir Aegislash Garchomp Blaziken Weavile +Others I can't think of right now but feel free to ask away for partners for the above Pokemon. You could also try these combinations: Tailwind + Specs Hyper Voice Sylveon Drizzle Politoed + Swift Swim Ludicolo/Kingdra Scarf Tyranitar + Sand Rush Excadrill w/ Mixed Mega Salamence in the back I haven't personally tried these in the Maison but they're pretty strong competitively. Imo, I'd focus on offense rather than stalling methods(Ferrothorn) or setting up while sustaining, do one or the other(SD+Roost Talonflame). |
Hi, Thanks for the reply. Do u mind if i PM u?
I have all the legendaries but they only have 3 or 4 IVs and dodgy natures. I don't understand how pros get competitive legendaries. apparently you can't RNG abuse in Gen VI anymore so the only way is soft resetting but the chances of getting ideal nature and IV is slim or hacking through powersave. do you have breedjects of those pokemon you've listed that you're willing to trade? |
