Have you ever attended a Live Event?
Ever been to any Live Event (could be anything - Sports Event, Awards Function, Music Concert, TV Show etc.)?
What was the experience like? Pika Pika :chu: |
I recently attended a Queens of the Stone Age tribute show where a few amateur rock bands performed some of the Queens' most memorable songs.
It was loud, dark, sweaty and packed with people. Very fitting. |
Yup! I've been to hockey games, a Metallica concert and a program in Canada called "Much on Demand" :>
Obviously the most enjoyable was the Metallica concert. |
I was at a show yesterday! it was some trippy electric band called Negativland and damn they rocked out, it was rad. I'm also gonna go see SALES next week which I'm psyched about
|
Been to a couple.
- P.O.D Live in Manila (WAY WAY BACK, and I was a young lil silly lad back then) - Live WWE event (WWE in Manila back in 2005 baby) - Live concerts, and seeing Red Hot Chili Peppers live here in our country was one of the best things I've experienced As a former professional player, I've been into a couple of live events where the team I was working with wanted to use me in place of one of their starter players because said starter was sick and ill. Playing on stage is definitely a heck a lot more different than simply playing at home. |
I've been to more sports games than I can count, a few concerts and even a political rally (I was young so I don't remember it really). My favorite of all those though was my first game at Wrigley Field. Simply amazing.
|
i've watched a couple of meth labs burn down in my town
that's always a fun community event |
I never really go to concerts or anything like that but my family is an Auburn season ticket holder so I usually go to 5 or 6 home football games a year. Quite fun!
|
Too many concerts and music festivals to count and a couple of baseball, soccer and hockey games.
|
In another thread I mentioned going to a couple concerts my university hosted. Otherwise, I haven't gone to sports events and such. My dad mentioned going to a couple basketball games before (Portland Blazers specifically).
|
I've been to a few concerts, theatre performances and comedians. Saw a football game once when I was really young.
|
I was lucky enough to see Hailstorm and P.O.D. at the Taste of Minnesota. Though not my top favorite artists ever, I was really glad to go and it cost nearly nothing. They were only a few hours, but the experiance was something I'll never forget.
|
I've attended quite a few concerts.
|
I've been to a dozen or so concerts. I like the music and the performances, which are usually good, but the crowds can be pretty bad depending on the venue and what kind of people the artist attracts. I really rather prefer the shows where there is the option for seating instead of being crushed in the sweat pit.
|
Favorite concert I attended was a Night Ranger/REO Speedwagon/STYX concert. All three bands came back out at the end and played "Don't Stop Rockin'", a song they wrote just for the tour, and it was incredible. There were at least 10 people playing guitar at the same time.
|
I've attended a few music concerts.
|
I been to so many football (soccer in USA) games - friendly games, MLS game, Gold Cup games, and even a World Cup Qualifying match (USA vs Panama in 2013).
I loved the experience, and that atmosphere is indescribable has to be experienced, that cheerful moment celebrating with the rest of the fans - cheering with the wins, having good conversations with the fans. I also attended 2 Baseball games, similar experiences to the football games. I also attended the Pokemon Symphonic Evolution Spending all that time with the rest of the fans, even some person had on a Flareon custom/fursuit wanted to take a photo but at the moment I was too busy having an online battle with another fan. It was fun having conversation with so many other Pokemon fans in Seattle. The performance was amazing. Soon going to start going to concerts, my younger brother wants to see Slipknot |
WWE shows and other wrestling events that had former or legends
pretty much it? i've been Britney spears old house if dat counts lol |
I've been to a monster truck event around 12 years ago at the Xcel Energy Center, which was pretty neat to see in person. As for recently, I've gone to a couple of Twins games over the last couple of years. Not sure if I'll be able to go to one this year or not. Hope so, cause I love Target Field, even if the Twins aren't really the greatest this year.
|
I've been to the Graspop Metal Meeting 3 times, which is a 3 day metal festival which runs every year. I've seen some nice groups live there like Twisted Sister, Guns n Roses, Korn, Megadeth, Alestorm, Powerwolf, etc...
It was nice, but I feel I have kinda grown out of the entire festival culture. And being in a tent in the mud for 3 days and 3 nights (well, mostly the nights). |
I've been to several concerts: 3 Aerosmith, Imagine Dragons, and Beyonce. I've also been to a couple of baseball games, but I was really young and don't remember much about them. I've been to some political speeches and art festivals, but that's about it. I'd like to go to more!

On the topic of the thread, I go to plenty of events (too many concerts to count). I absolutely adore them, especially with a group of friends to enjoy with you. Coming up this year (unless something else gets announced in the meantime) is Beyonce which I previously mentioned, Drake and Future, Kanye West, and a festival with Lana Del Rey performing. I've been to a basketball game and a baseball game before, but all I can really remember is the food. Park food is great. |
Sporting Events: Baltimore Ravens & Baltimore Orioles games
Music Concerts: Gwen Stefani Broadway Shows: The Lion King, Wicked, Aladdin, Rocky, and Matilda. |
I have been to a few music concerts including Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, 5 Seconds Of Summer, and Sabrina Carpenter.
|
I just recently went to my first ever music concert with my Mom and my best friend. It was to see Justin Bieber. He was awesome. My Mom said she was deaf for like 3 days after the concert because of all the girls screaming.
