Noob Question

Hi All - I'm writing an article tying Pokemon stats to political figures. As crazy as it sounds.

And I need your help!

All things even, is it possible to predict the outcome of a battle between a Golem and a Breloom?

Thanks in advance.
Pokenoob.

Hi there! Welcome to PC! Political figures you say? Sounds interesting but I'm not sure I understand c:

A Breelom would likely crush the Golem, don't you think? Fighting > Rock and Grass >> Rock+Ground! Why don't you ask over in the Pokemon General section and see what a broader community thinks~? (:

Welcome.

Usually a Breloom would do better than a Geodude evolution, so I suppose that if Bernie Sanders wanted to go up against a Geodude...

Generally, unless you're going highly in-depth, a casual rendition wouldn't usually require that the different types be placed against each other. Still, welcome, plan on sticking around or did you mostly come here to find out about the difference of a Geodude and a Breloom?

If a Breloom were hypothetically someone more aggressive, though traditional (in-game associated with their type), like say Sarah Palin on meds, then a Geodude might be by analogy somebody basically focussed upon blocking things, protection or taking attacks, while hoping to get any attacks in in the mean-time, like for instance a Green Party candidate who is constantly faced with having to justify themselves in the face of mainstream politics, and attempts to do so or was still a part of this. This has some validity, as due to Palin the Green Party would no longer be able to act as quirky or strange, and likewise would still be put under attack, although they might be vulnerable to others in doing so and would only be a Republican in part because there was such an opposition and the Greens were not their main opponents. So they would still run into significant problems in general, and turn everyone off, mostly. So while Lenin would obviously be a Marill, as sheep + electricity = cool Pokémon, who would get the more conventional mantle of a Pikachu?

Thanks for your help guys, I know how ridiculous the idea sounds - but there is a method to the madness. By rating the defensive and offensive (attack) responses to policies I take the total and match their "attack/defense" against a Pokemon's. Then they Battle!

I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic quite a bit, never realising how complex Pokemon is. Its definitely got me interested. Might start with a 3DS game.

Cheers!

Hey Guys - i finally managed to finish the article. Golem had to changed to Slowbro, based on a slight change in criteria format. Have a read if you're interested. Bit of a laugh.
Thanks for your help!
Cheers
