Spotlight on... Ferrum Dojo!
Spotlight on... Ferrum Dojo! http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll11/Spoony6205/image.jpg4_zpsbymf13hy.jpg The venerable Ferrum Dojo, host to daily training and official tournaments alike. Holy ground to Battle Pokémon and trainers seeking to improve themselves. The Ferrum Dojo is not just the setting for training, it is also a Battle Stage, and a special one at that! Unlocked right from the beginning, the stage actuallaly has three different designs which are chosen at random when the stage is selected. Stage Dimensions: Shape: Circle Starting Distance: 9.0m Stage Width: 18.0m Stage Length: 18.0m The different stagings represent Spring, Summer and Winter, with the scenery, Dojo layout and background NPC's and Pokémon all changing depending on the season! Spoiler:
Background Pokémon: Abomasnow, Bonsly, Cherrim (Overcast & Sunshine), Cherubi, Charmeleon, Chingling, Chimecho, Combusken, Darmanitan (Zen), Deerling (Spring), Frogadier, Froslass, Glaceon, Hariyama, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, Magikarp, Makuhita, Mienshao, Mienfoo, Nuzleaf, Sawk, Sawsbuck (Spring), Shiftry, Slaking, Snorunt, Thundurus (Incarnate), Throh, Tornadus (Incarnate), Tyrogue Soundtrack: Like all stages, the Ferrum Dojo has an amazing soundtrack, which really fits the theme. In this case the Oriental inspired drumming and chanting really sets the mood and absorbs you into the game! I think what I love most about this stage is that it is so immersive. From the design, to the soundtrack, to what's going on in the background, it all makes you feel like it's real and these people and Pokémon all come together in this place with respect, commitment and love of tradition and for battling! Do you like battling in the Ferrum Dojo? Which season do you like most? Does anything in particular catch your eye? What do you think of the music? Share your opinions, experiences or media below! |
