Legitimately can't remember whether I already suggested it, but it's been in my head for a while so thought I'd ask.

Yes, it's 60 power in Faithful and 70 in standard.

I don't see a convenient way for the type formula to allow a 17th type.

looneyman1 July 7th, 2017 8:06 AM

oh hey I downlowded the documentation you provided for Drayano's own rom hack for the info on the base stat changes for this one? But the entire file is broken, I can't open the darn thing at all.

EDIT: And I just conned myself just now, I caught a jolly geodude and there's no sign of Rock Polish having been added to the game....crap, unless there's a rock polish substitute in Geodude's available moves now, I can't use this thing.

What about a simple change like making it 4 x (AttackIVs mod 4) + (DefenseIVs mod 5) and if the result is 16 Hidden Power is fairy type? Or is that a bad idea?

FIQ July 7th, 2017 3:36 PM

I don't like the idea of changing how Hidden Power works to make it possible to give Fairy... But maybe that's just me.

Allthough I've considered updating to the Gen III+ method of calculating type.

Silent S July 7th, 2017 5:31 PM

I know this has been reported before, but apparently the "All stats except HP get zeroed" bug still exists in the latest patch update Rangi provided back on page 69.

I just started a new game on that patch and was hunting for Geodude on Route 46. The zeroing of stats occurred on the captured Geodude because the experience provided by the capture caused my lead Pokémon, a Level 9 Cyndaquil, to level up. (Edit: also occurred with a wild Caterpie on Route 30. Capture again caused my lead 'mon to level up, triggering the zeroing of stats.)
Edit 2: Switching my lead 'mon out before capture did not trigger the stat zeroing. It only triggers when the 'mon that is currently in the battle levels up upon capturing the wild 'mon.
Also, there is another error: when a wild Jigglypuff uses Sing on Cyndaquil, sometimes it will say "It doesn't affect Cyndaquil!" and then right after that message appears, Cyndaquil falls asleep. Unfortunately, I cannot provide more information on this one at this time.

FYI, the Cyndaquil has its Hidden Ability, Flash Fire.

I dont' know why but during the fight vs Whitney, her Milktank used Stomp and Somehow it could hit my Gastly.

Also I noticed ítems in the pc that I never put there:
-Ether
-Super potion
-Moon Stone
-Elixir

Her Miltank has Scrappy, and your Mom bought those items.

LuminousWarrior July 7th, 2017 9:16 PM

Wait... You gave Whitney's Miltank Scrappy? ...

I'm still searching for more codes, but as you can imagine, it takes time to probe every possible hexadecimal combination one by one...also, no one ensure that they'll still working in the final version 3.0

Holy cow, could you please use the spoiler tags?

ON: I was completing my pokédex and accidentally found Eusine in Celadon City's Pokémon Center.
He shows me a picture of Entei, Raikou & Suicune and tells me to inform him if I happen to catch one, I have Entei and Suicune on my team but he always says the exact same thing. Is that a bug or something?

Not a bug, but now that you mention it, I'll have him just show the uncaught ones.

Just use a female Geodude for Whitney, her Miltank won't know what hit it. (the Geodude also makes short work of the previous gym leaders, as well.)

Was that changed at some point or something? I've caught like 10 or 11 Sneasels and the only things I've got were four seven Quick Claws and a Shiny Poliwhirl (the 5th Shiny I get in this HackROM so far, btw <3).

Found something worthy of note. I battled the NPC that gives you the Miracle Seed just now, and his bulbasaur was able to hit my Oddish with Sleep Powder. Grass pokemon should be immune to sleep powder, poison powder, Stun Spore, and Spore. That is unless you are just not able to pull off such an immunity, in which case nevermind. If you are, you will need to look into other type-based immunities and specific move immunities (like ghosts being immune to shadow tag, mean look, ect) and other similar mechanics. Figured I'd bring it up, but I'm sure someone may already have.

I recently read an interesting theory, about the girl of the house that I show in the images, which is in company of his apparently favorite Pokémon Ferrow, the theory in particular says that this girl is a former ex-champion of the pokemon league, reason that explains perfectly her dialogues besides the fact of the place where we found her, I mean, if we remember...to have access to Mt. Silver one must have proven to be a really strong trainer (champion) ... It should be mentioned that this does not apply to the people inside the pokemon center, because we can consider that place as a safe one, although the dialogue of the old woman inside it is also interesting...

Intriguing don't you think?

I also found a fan art work of this girl...I don't know, maybe you can get juice from this Rangi.

I believe she's the girl in RBY who was on Route 16. She too lived in a small house, had a Fearow, and gave you a reward for keeping her location a secret (Fly instead of Steel Wing). She probably moved to Mt. Silver because people found her house anyway.

You could argue that she's Kahili, but I don't think the timelines match up. Kahili looks pretty young, and SM is at least seven years after GSC.

OMG! That's right, I´ve totally forgot about that girl above the cycling road, that has more sense, but I'm still curious about "what kind of celebrity she was?", also if he earned the right for stay and live nn the slopes of Mt. Silver (been a former champion or something like that years before to pkm RBY) or if she simply arrived there Flying

About Kahili, I think the same, the time lapses between both versións and their respective events don't fit at all

Bringing this up again because I'm eager to complete my Pokédex, this'd be the 2nd time I ever decide to do so.

Possibly. Magearna, for example, may be in the hack someday. According to the TODO.md (which may or may not be outdated), you shouldn't expect all 802 Pokemon, but some Gen VII stuff is a possibility. I'm just going off what's on github, so anyone feel free to correct me.

If i remember correctly there's no more space in pokedex, and dex expansion is planned for 4.0, which will be released... ???

Rangi,

Compiled the latest code from the commit made 4 hours ago:

Slowpoke in the well: Sprites are geodude
Heracross in the house from Ilex Forest to route 34: looks like an unkown sprite

Looks like the sprites got messed up

I can battle breeder julie over and over again on route 34

I think this is the intended behavior (applies to all Breeders),.
