9/10 Lovely Pokemon, really intrigued me when I saw it for the first time in RSE.
Zekrom |
10/10 Awesome pokemon and it reminds me of a dragon from fantasy movies.
Mandibuzz? |
8.5/ 10 I like Braviary better, but Mandi is really useful too.
Chesnaught? |
9/10 I like the color and design of the pokemon and reminds me of a medieval soldier.
Diggersby? |
6/10 I don't like it's design but its AWESOME in battle!
Golurk |
8/10, it's a flying ancient robot golem
Wishiwashi |
2/10 The solo form has nice eyes but that's just it. The school form is creepy looking.
Gogoat? |
6/10, Not very notable, but it's fun trying to ride on it's back in Smash Brothers.
Yveltal? |
10/10. Cool, I like the whole Yggdrasil trio. But my favorite is Zygarde.
Bulbasaur? |
8/10, great starter
Rowlet |
9/10 Cute lovable starter pokemon.
Tangela? |
8/10. Tangrowth is one of my least favorite designs, but I don't have any issue with little Tangela. He's very, very cute. I bet you could tank quite a bit with an eviolite Tangela.
Manaphy? |
5/10. Design is cute, but I'm overall not a very big fan of Legendary Pokémon. Also its stat line, while good, is boring, its move pool leaves to be desired and it's just a pure Water type legendary. Overall has an unfinished feel to it.
Mareep? |
10/10 best electric type
Rampardos |
8/10
Rhyperior? |
7/10 It's okay I like Rhydon more.
Aurorus |
9 / 10
The typing makes her a little hard to use, but I still find her a very likeable Pokemon because of all of the imagination and beauty. Psyduck? |
9/10 Love the cute duck idea and it's also a classic pokemon.
Furfrou? |
8/10 love the trim idea
Mimikyu |
10/10 Adorable precious Pokemon who deserves all the love in the world
Roselia |
9/10 Big fan of it since the first time I saw one. I always thought Roselia were around 3 ft (1m) tall, just judging from its RSE sprite.
Gulpin? |
7/10 alright poison type
Ambipom |
8/10 The color and tail is nice.
Swirlix? |
9/10 super cute!
Castform |
8/10. I like it!
Cacturne? |
8/10. It looks creepy and cool, it has great attacking stats and a good moveset, and Water Absorb is fantastic! Unfortunately it's very slow and weak to a whopping seven attack types.
Nidoking |
7/10
Drowzee |
6.5. I think its cool that its a pokemon inspired by the yokai Baku. I like that he and Hypno are these mischievous sandman figures, but I wouldn't go out of my way to use a drowzee. i see it as okay.
Hydreigon? |
8/10. I've never used it before, but it looks really cool and it has very powerful stats and a great moveset. Unfortunately its Dark typing does give it a lot of additional weaknesses, including a x4 weakness to Fairy.
Beedrill? |
7/10. I use it if its available early in a game and if it can be caught and I have no second pokemon yet. Also it being a giant bug makes me like due to being a bit of a Kamen Rider fan :)
Gastrodon? |
7/10 Pretty cool, but nasty cry.
Buneary? |
4/10. I'm sorry, Buneary is incredibly cute, but that is the only thing good about it. A choice between run away or klutz as your ability, it learns mostly non-damaging moves like splash. It has one or two useable moves and by the levels it learns them other Pokemon that are meant to start off bad like bedlum or magikarp have already evolved. This thing doesn't evolve by level up though, it evolves based on friendship.. but ironically starts with a base happiness of 0, is known for throwing its trainer around by the ears and learns frustration as its main stab. No thanks, I'm good.
Goodra? |
8/10. Goodra looks adorable, has good defenses against its weaknesses and while its attacking stats suffer as a result, they're still nothing to be scoffed at. My biggest complaints are that the majority of offensive moves it learns are Physical while its base stats lean slightly more towards Special, and that you can only get it by evolving a high-leveled Sliggoo while it rains in the overworld.
Seadra? |
8.5/ 10
Seadra has a terrific design. With a solid typing, sniper, lots of great coverage moves and can at least pull its own weight on the special side of things while you look for a dragonscale. Then this creature will evolve and take his place with the immortals as a Kingdra!! Torchic? |
10/10 Very cute starter pokemon, love the color, and I love birds.
Guzzlord? |
6/10. It's powerful and it has a good moveset to back it up, but it's just so ugly and unappealing. Something in its design is so alien to me, it doesn't feel like a Pokémon at all. One could argue that's what they were going for with the Ultra Beasts, but I don't know... Guzzlord's got it particularly bad.
Staraptor? |
7/10. It's attack and speed are pretty good, and it's other stats are at a pretty good range aside from it's special stats which really isn't an issue if it can outspeed the opponent. The ability to learn fighting type moves is also a plus for dealing with rock types, dark types, ice types and, steel types. Along with a pretty good design, an awesome pokemon. Just don't send it out against electric types.
Chansey? |
5/10 It's real use comes from competitive, even then I still prefer using Blissey.
Herdier? |
9/10. I love its design, it stats are quite good for a com-mon, it has access to a fairly wide range of type coverages, it can evolve further to become even more powerful and it can hit Ghost types with Normal or Fighting moves thanks to Scrappy. Overall just a really solid Pokémon. The only real downside is that its leveling rate is Medium Slow, which is tolerable but still noticable especially in the higher levels.
Ribombee? |
9/10 I'm not a fan of bug pokemon. I really like the looks though.
Tapu Fini? |
5/10 Tapus are as interesting as Unova genies which isn't saying much
Seaking |
5/ 10
Rather ordinary for a king, I wish he had more to make him stand out from a goldfish than just the horn. He is not really given the stats either, but he has potenial, lightning rod and swift swim, two very good abilities. I think this Pokemon would really find its way with mega. Entei? |
10/10 Loved him in the movie.
Bastiodon? |
5/10. Good defenses with many resistances, but that's all this Pokémon has got going for it. It has a x4 weakness to Earthquake and Fighting types, it doesn't learn any really powerful moves and it's overall just an ugly Pokémon. Would not add to my team.
Kangaskhan? |
9/10 The kangaroo idea with a baby in the pouch is so cute.
Pelipper? |
9/10
Poliwrath? |
6/10 rather indifferent.
Aurorus |
8/10. I didn't even know this Pokémon existed until you mentioned it. But it looks cute, has pretty solid base stats and a good moveset. The x4 Fighting weakness is a shame though.
Beedrill? |
9/10 When I was ypunger, I always thought Beedrill to be among the strongest Pokemon out there. And even thoug its stats are really low, its awesome looks make mpre than up for it.
What about Gigalith? |
10/ 10
I was really glad to catch a Reggenrola during my first BW playthrough, Leonora was a cinch with him in toe and he only gets better from there. Gigalith is a really awesome rock type, his mighty stats outtank golem, he has very powerful moves like stone edge and equake that will kill a lot of things in his path or he can set up stealth rocks. He's got no ×4 times weaknesses and two great abilities sandstream and sturdy. He even has a great shiny, with sapphires coming out of the rock. While we are talking gen 5 Mons... Zoroark? |
7/10. Never used it before but it has a nice design. One of the better Unova Pokémon imo!
Steelix? |
9/10. Steelix is by a wide margin my favourite Steel type Pokémon. Its only real downsides are its sub-par moveset and sub-par Special Defense. But it's overall just a really cool Pokémon.
Dodrio? |
4/10. One of my less liked flying types
Brionne? |
10/10 Beautiful pokemon
Salazzle? |
9/10 I love her! Queen.
Castform |
9/10 Pretty colors it has.
Octillery? |
9/10. It has a pretty unique look back then in it's time though I didn't know it evolved from Remoraid back then.
Magnezone? |
5/10 I'm not crazy over steel type
Lunala? |
7/10 its fine i guess?
Tangrowth |
7/10 Pretty lovable guy.
Starly |
9/10 So cute
Delphox? |
7/10. Overall good starter, but slightly overrated in my opinion. Not a big fan of the design.
Mareep? |
9/10 Mareep is the most pecious-looking thing. As a Blade Runner fan I also respect an electric sheep. He is one of those must get Pokemon in Johto, placed in your path to kill Falkner. All of his evolutions are charming and adorable and Ampharos is one of the strongest Pokemon in his region, fit to take out Falkner's Pidgeotto, Chuck's Poliwrath or Clair's Gyarados. He even has a mega in his final form and dragon typing. Mareep's excellent.
Charmander? |
3/10 One of my least favourite starter Pokémon. I prefer both other Kanto starters over it.
Trapinch? |
4/10, Painful to level it up
Blissey? |
5/10. The premier Special wall and its design is kind of cute, but no real redeeming factors otherwise. Hardly has anything to offer offensively, which in turn makes it nearly useless outside of competitive, and it's a pain to get because you need to use two special evolve mechanics to get a Blissey out of a Happiny. I don't like it.
Gallade? |
8/10 Looks cool but I've never seen it in the anime and game.
Slaking? |
6/10 A good Pokemon with a rather severe handicap.
Kricketot |
8/10 Looks cute and I've never heard of it until now.
Politoed? |
4/10. It's not bad per se, but when I compare it to Poliwrath, it just doesn't make the cut.
Bibarel? |
10/10 HM slave, 5/10 anything else.
Hitmontop? |
8/10. I'm usually more of a Hitmonchan girl but Hitmontop's more balanced stats have always appealed to me, and I think the way he evolves is really clever. After watching a friend recently use a Hitmontop to wipe the floor with his enemies I want my own now! He looks so cool swinging his arms back and forth, and jogging slowly in place-- like he can't wait to start spinning!
Larvitar? |
5/10. It's kind of cute and it's not that bad, but it's certainly not good. It has a decent moveset, but it suffers from low base stats, a lot of weaknesses (including a x4 weakness to Grass and Water) and a Slow exp rate. It's generally only really worth having for Tyranitar, and it won't turn into that until level 55.
Forretress? |
9.5
Forretress makes me think of my paramour Steven Stone in HG SS, anything remotely connected to him is good. More to the point though Forretress is a classic. You can toxic your opponent, protect and laugh as they try to break through your enormous defenses. He can set up whatever you want, take your pick of the hazards stealth rock, spikes, toxic spikes? With Sturdy he can always get it up, even a fire move is not an immediate threat. He can also rapid spin away anything in your team's path. If necessary he hit wear it hurts with a monstrous stab gyro ball. Great Pokemon. Leafeon? |
8/10 Tbh, at first I thought Eevee can evolve into Leafeon with a Leaf Stone, haha
Torchic? |
10/10 Very cute starter fire type.
Shiftry? |
7/10 Shiftry looks pretty cool! I kind of like it's pre-evo better though..
Shroomish? |
7/10 It's okay
Lileep? |
7.5/10 A cute, little purple fossil Pokémon!
Houndour? |
8/10 I prefer Houndoom.
Hippowdon? |
8/10 Hippo's used to be my favourite animal.
Smoochum? |
7/10 It's cute!
Buizel? |
7.5/10. I've never really caught it, but it seems like an all-around solid Pokémon.
Tauros? |
6/10, not that fond of it, but don't hate it either.
Archeops. |
7/10 I like the looks but I'm not happy about it being a rock type as well. I like to use flying types against grass types and rock types are weak against grass type.
Chansey? |
9/10. I love Pink normals and fairies. Therefore, Chansey is great.
Porygon2? |
8/10. Never used one but I really like the concept and design.
Hariyama? |
8.5/10 Hariyama was in my party in my gameplay of Pokémon Ruby ♡
Swellow? |
9/10 Used it in Emerald and it was good.
Jynx? |
8/10 Used it recently for a team in Silver and liked it
Munchlax? |
Aaaaaaaaaaaa it's really cuuuuuute 8/10
Charmander? |
10/10 So cute
Virizion? |
8/10. I like it, my favourite of the Musketeers trio.
Tyrogue? |
9/10 aaaaaaaaa I spent like, 25 minutes looking for the Blackbelt in Mt. Mortar to receive it in my Pokémon Crystal, and it evolved into Hitmontop ^^
Aipom? |
9/10 it is very cute and I wish more people liked it!!
Corsola? |
8/10 Corsola is really adorable!
Farfetch'd? |
7/10 it's cute!
Charizard? |
6/10 alright starter, doesn't deserve two freaking megas
Slaking |
5/10
Skiddo |
8/10. Adorable
