iPhone 7 users tricked into breaking their gadget by drilling a hole into it to get a "headphone jack"

Here's the link. Surprisingly many people fell to it.

Lucario September 25th, 2016 12:00 PM

derps. (And apple were derps not giving them a headphone jack in the first place)

Somewhere_ September 25th, 2016 12:45 PM

Honestly this is pretty funny. What is the appeal of the iPhone 7 anyways?

tranceking26 September 25th, 2016 12:57 PM

It's amazing how dumb people can get. :P

Gandhi Savage September 25th, 2016 1:09 PM

Oh my lord ahahaha this can't be an actual thing can it? Given me a good chuckle! I thought I read about this on facebook a while ago but still ahahaha

Aquacorde September 25th, 2016 1:29 PM

Okay but I'm just amazed he drilled a hole in it without breaking the phone!

Probably just it being the newest model of iPhone really.

I would say that I'm surprised that people actually thought that this would work.....but really I'm not.

Caite-chan September 25th, 2016 1:41 PM

I don't want a headphone jack THAT bad that I have to destroy something.

Sopheria September 25th, 2016 2:01 PM

Wait, did people actually fall for this though? I see some sarcastic comments to that effect in the comments section, but no serious ones. Pretty amazing though that it's still working after that, although I'd imagine that speaker is probably not working now haha

Tsutarja September 25th, 2016 5:24 PM

lmao

Starry Windy September 25th, 2016 11:40 PM

Boy... I think Apple should reconsider if it comes to omitting headphone jack in the latest iPhone, since it seems that many users are still relying on it, and this is a testament to that.

Sothis September 26th, 2016 12:22 AM

Oh my god this can't be real, im hollering.

Aisu September 26th, 2016 2:01 AM

This is why Apple fanboys are really derpy compared to Galaxy fanboys lol. Not that Galaxies haven't had their shit especially these days.

Lipstick Vogue September 26th, 2016 2:13 AM

Don't believe people have actually fallen for this, anybody stupid enough to that also owns power tools would have accidentally killed themselves years ago.

Leviathan September 26th, 2016 6:40 AM

Uh-oh. I bet this is...erm...an expensive mistake to make!

Apparently something similar happened to iPhone 6 users back in 2014, too.

These iPhone hoaxes are nothing new though. A new one comes up every time a new iPhone is released.

Qibli September 27th, 2016 2:34 AM

Notice how funny the comment on the video and I'm not sure all the people are tech savvy and accidentally drilled their phones also voiding their warranty.. that hack won't work though

blue September 27th, 2016 4:47 AM

Honestly, if people are silly enough to believe this then they deserve it lmao.

Arsenic September 27th, 2016 5:27 AM

Well since the majority of people out there are blundering idiots, I can believe as many people tried this as tried to Wave Charge their phone without watching the video.
