It's Just Fufu May 31st, 2006 6:51 AM

I gots a question about Ho-oh. I know that u must snag and purify all 48 shadow pokemon, then beat Mt. Battle, with your Colosseum team, and that the Colosseum team must be registered. My question is, couldn't i just trade a team of really powerful pokemon from something like Emerald Version, register them as my Colosseum team, then use them for Mt. Battle, or do I HAVE to use the original Colosseum team from my game? I can give u guys an example if u need it.

Edit: Also, can u get a shiny Jirachi from the Colosseum Bonus Disk?

Dragonoxygen June 9th, 2006 10:50 PM

Howdo u get a picture of a pokemon sign to count, on snap, wenever i get it it sais"no pokemon in this picture"

You can use any pokemon currently in your story mode, traded or original. So yes, you may take pokemon from your Emerald version, trade it to Colosseum, then register your story mode team.

Also, I believe the chances of getting a Shiny Jirachi from the bonuse disk is the same chance as all pokemon have of being shiny.

In collesium or XD where do you find Meditite or Medicham?

Bomberman June 10th, 2006 2:41 PM

I've been playing Colloseum lately, and I'm wondering:
is it worth getting XD now? I've finsihed Colloseum and will be using the battle mode for multiplayer. Is XD considerably better, or should I wait for the price to drop?

♥Naomi♥ June 13th, 2006 11:05 AM

In Colosseum, Meditite can be found as a Shadow Pokemon, in the hands of trainer in the cave on the way to your first fight with Miror B (Rider Twan).

In XD, you have to trade with Duking to get Meditite, by trading a wild Trapinch to him.

You also have to complete Pokemon XD by beating Grand Master Greevil at least once. Note that with Emerald, you can trade directly to Colosseum before you have either the National Dex and have beaten the Elite Four.

You're talking about Pokemon Snap, eh? Well, first you have to go to the Canyon Level (Sorry, if it's the wrong name, it's been a while since I've played it) until you get to the point where you have to activate a switch by hitting Mankey with a Pester Ball. You will unlock a secret path where you will find Professor Oak, and he will then tell you about the Pokemon Signs. Now you'll be able to snap them and go to Rainbow Cloud to find Mew.
Remember: the switch can't be hit by Bait or Pester Balls, you have to knock out a Mankey from the top of a hill, and hit it again so it'll fall onto the switch.
I hope that helped you, Dragonoxygen.

I have a few questions about Pokemon Colosseum.

1.) Do I have to beat the main story in Colo. in order to be able to trade over my Pokemon from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - FR/LG.

2.) Can you trade Pokemon back and forth from Colo. to the GBA games?

3.) If so..when you trade Pokemon that evolve from trade like Kadabra..Graveler to Colo. and back..do they evolve by this method?

thanks in advance

Yes. It's a long fight (especially the Realgam Tower) but you'll get there.
Quote:

2.) Can you trade Pokemon back and forth from Colo. to the GBA games?
Well, you can trade between Ruby and Sapphire straight away. But as for FR/LG and Emerald, you have to get the National Pokedex.
In FR/LG you have to get the Ruby and Sapphire to be able to trade with R/S and then you can also trade with Coloseum. Pain in the backside, I know, but if you don't get them, Coloseum won't let you trade.
Quote:

3.) If so..when you trade Pokemon that evolve from trade like Kadabra..Graveler to Colo. and back..do they evolve by this method?
Oh yes. And I assume it also works for Pokemon that evolve from trade while holding items (Slowpoke with King's Rock into Slowking).

You're welcome, ~Patrick~

'Arcanine' June 20th, 2006 11:56 AM

Gale of Darkness XD questions:
1. Are there 82 Shadow Pokemon in total?
2. Can I buy the TM Rain Dance?
3. When the radar says Minor B is close, does it always mean it's right? Plus when it says he's close, in the area I'm in or somewhere else? I've had times when the radar went off while I was on Battle Tower, left there & went somewhere, then it doesn't say 'Minor B lost' until later, even though I left that place...

Help if you can, cheers.

RSL June 22nd, 2006 4:59 PM

What special Pokemon can you receive from Pokemon Box and how many Pokemon do you have to store to get them?

'Arcanine' June 23rd, 2006 1:21 PM

Nevermind my last question, there's not 82 Shadow Pokemon in XD, there's 83 that I know of, but is that all of them? (My altered question.)

It means that he's somewhere else. Use the Miror Radar item, and it'll tell you where he is. If he's in a Pokespot, you'll just battle him right away. If he's in a city, you need to enter a Colosseum Tournament and he'll be one of the trainers.

Toothache June 27th, 2006 12:16 AM

In XD, you get the Rain Dance TM (no 18) from beating Battle CD 23 (Aerodactyl vs Kyogre).

If the Miror Radar activates, go to Key Items and select the Miror Radar, then select Use. It will tell you exactly where the afro headed guy is.

'Arcanine' June 28th, 2006 8:16 AM

Xenesis - I know now, but thanks anyway. I got a book which told me he'd be at a Poke Spot, so I managed to snag his Nosepass, then later at the Lighthouse for Dragonite.

Toothache - I've already finished that CD & didn't get Rain Dance, I dunno what I got now but I haven't got Rain Dance in my TM's.

All this time I also didn't know that I could actually look at the Radar to see his location, just thought it went off & had to guess where he was. I didn't think it was an actual item in my items but just a item that I had...

Anyway, next question. Where can I get evolution stones in XD? What I found or was given etc I have used but I need to evolve more Pokemon such as my Growlithe & others. Can I buy them or will I have to use a Pokemon with the ability 'Pick Up' to pick up items? Cheers.

the best hoenn 92 July 2nd, 2006 12:19 PM

i need help. i beat pokemon xd and i also beat mt. battle zones 1 throught 100 twice how do i get a johto starter?

'Arcanine' July 2nd, 2006 12:29 PM

I also heard that you can get a starter...somewhere, it was not long ago either but it either sounded complicated or I need to finish zone 100, which I think it mentioned. I can't help you there, I'd like to know too.

Toothache July 3rd, 2006 12:21 AM

You can't buy evolution stones. You get one of each type during the game (Thunder, Water, Fire, Leaf) plus one more stone from the Eevee fan at the start of the game if you wanted Flareon, Jolteon or Vaporeon (the Moon Shard and Sun Shard count as Key Items).

'Arcanine' July 3rd, 2006 12:39 PM

Well then can I use the ability 'Pick Up' to get evolution stones? If not then I suppose it doesn't matter because I need loads of other data from Pokemon that aren't in the game & I need something or other to connect it up, which is my next question.

This isn't exactly about games but it is. I need to connect my GBA to my GC so I can trade over my Pokemon, but what's the wire called or thing I did to do this? I hope this question can be asked, it's just I really want to know so I know what I'm asking for in shops. :P

Hey, I responed to your PM.

Well, the Legendary Dogs (Raikou,Entei,Suicune) can't be obtained in XD(but in Coloseum). Sneasel, Misdreavus, Tyranitar, Metagross. That's all I can think of.
The latter two can easily be obtained in the GBA games. I hear you can get the Legendary Dog Pokemon in FR/LG, but I haven't found any yet.

I hope that helped a bit.

I have a question, In my Colosseum file I've snagged and purified every shadow Pokemon in the game. However some of them I've traded over to other games and lost somehow.

Can I still receive Ho-Oh through completing Mt. Battle even if the Shadow Pokemon I've purified aren't on the Colo. disk any longer? or do they have to be on the Colo. disk?

Ultimatelugia August 6th, 2006 2:07 AM

Well I dont know!!!!!!! Im new

Kraka-chan August 8th, 2006 1:14 AM

And by lost, you mean you erased your game when they're still there?
<shudders> That doesn't sound good.

My guess is that you have to play the game over. :( Because, even though I have never gotten Ho-Oh on Colosseum, I think you need all of the pokemon on the game. Sorry.

Can you get EXP in Collisum by battling with your Pokemon from RSE or FR/LG?

Yes, if you traded that Pokemon, those Pokemon will get extra EXP points.

If you mean by battling them in Coloseum Mode, then no.
If you've completed the game and unlocked the trade centre, you can trade Pokemon, and the rest Queen Boo just said.

i need help what's the best way to catch the three dogs out of f/r l/g

Tetsuya September 29th, 2006 5:00 AM

Probably going back and fourth between two routes, then you bring a repel and put you

higest pokemon like lvl 47 or something and go through a low level area, because every time

you change a route or go inside the dogs move around and i would bring a masterball if you could.

Pokémon Colosseum is a hybrid between Pokémon Stadium and the RPG games. The RPG part of the game takes place in a new region called Orre. In the game you battle an evil organization called Cipher who wants to take over the world with Shadow Pokémon (many of which are from GSC generation). Shadow Pokémon are Pokémon that are modified to be more powerful but at the expense of compassion. It is up to you stop them and purify the Pokémon.

Dingbat October 5th, 2006 3:41 PM

It should be noted that in Pokémon Colosseum you cannot capture wild Pokémon, but only those identified as Shadow Pokémon by using a gadget called the Snag Machine.

I don't think so but there are several move tutors in the game which can be seen here.

Yes but the possibility is the same as normal games but yes all Shadow Pokemon have the potential to be shiny.

Can you trade Pokemon from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald into Pokemon Colleseum? If so, how?

In Colleseum, what should I do with the Time Flute? I know it completely purifies a Pokemon, but should I use it later on or now? A little help with this please, I am confused. =(

You can only trade Between the cartages and Colosseum after you beat the last boss in the game.

The poke flute completely purifies one pokemon, so it's best used on one who's hard had to purify. Don't use it on Pokemon that have the door to their heart part open either, as that's a waste.

MrDreavus January 4th, 2007 1:36 AM

Thank you! I was wondering about that. What are some Pokemon that are hard to purify? I can't tell the difference. =P

AC drain January 4th, 2007 10:56 AM

The same way some pokemon are hard to catch, some are hard to purify. That Lv 30 remoraid you snagged is going to be purified after a few fights and 500 or so steps. The metagross you snagged, however, will easily take five times longer. Common sense says use the time flutes on pokemon like that. The three legendary beasts are the hardest to purify, and that's when I used my time flutes.

max2do January 4th, 2007 9:34 PM

I think this is the right place to ask this questions.

On pokemon crystal i think there are 5 chambers that you need to solve a puzzle(something close)while i was at one chamber the floor broke and I fell to some room full of signs of the uknown (of course when you solve one the floor opens, but there is a chamber that has some items and while trying to get the the floor broke a part and the room was not the one you always fall in to).
does it mean something?
what happens if you open all chambers?
is it connected to celebi?

AC drain January 5th, 2007 8:32 AM

I never did much with the ruins of Alph, but I can tell you it has nothing to do with Celebi. Actually, I'm pretty sure each time you fall through it just releases more of the 26 unknown into the main chamber. (Which is kind of worthless) There was some nonsense floating around that you could catch Celebi with some effect from the forest shrine, but it's not true. The only way to get it now is with a cheating device.

MrDreavus January 5th, 2007 8:59 AM

Thanks! I've already got part of Entei done, so I'll use my Flute on Suicune once I catch it. =D

max2do January 5th, 2007 5:14 PM

what about the room that i fell in to??
do you know anything about it?

Okay, read the thread.

Pokemon Stadium 2:

1: Can I use any of the Legendaries ever, and if so, how? I can use Mewtwo and Mew, but that's because I caught them in my old Pokemon Blue game.

2: Do you get anything unlocked for winning all the stadium games?

3: How do you access the Mystery Gift once you've unlocked it, and what does it give you?

Red1530 April 6th, 2007 8:11 AM

I am not sure about the first two but to access Mystery Gift after unlocking it you must use have Mystery Gift on either Gold, Silver, and Crystal and have it in the transfer pack.

any of the legendaries can be used, unless you're trying to use them in a cup competition that they can't compete in. and the mini games? well, this is probably not what you're looking for, but if you win "who's the champion?" on eight coins and hard mode (i don't think you have to be perfect), you unlock very hard mode, which is, not surprisingly, very hard.
