2 Questions - Timed Event in Fire Red / Multi-Battles in FR
Hello!
I've run into two questions regarding Fire Red hacking. I figured I'd put them as one thread, opposed to making two. -------------------------------- 1. I've always been a fan of the whole berry system in R/S/E and G/S/C, and as such, I'd really like to add something similar to my Fire Red hack. I do know that there exists a Day, Night, and Seasons system that's compatible with FR/LG (and I may end up using it), but it does cause issues for those whom either opt to play games on an emulator or flashcart that doesn't support the Ingame Clock, and so I was debating make the growth based on the actual game timer, if at all possible. And so I ask, is this even possible, let alone plausible? ----------------------------- 2. Is there any way to add multi-battles to FR? (You and another trainer VS. 2 trainers) My hope was to essentially make a 1v2 battle by having the ally faint themself on turn 1. ----------------------------- Thank you for any help, as well as putting up with my wave of questions in the last couple of days. I'm pretty new to hacking overall, and still have a lot to figure out. |

I would'nt recommend trying to replicate r/s/e berry system via script. 2. hmm, I don't believe you can't, but it requires a lot more than scripting. I'd recommend studying asm if you want to do. |
