Problems with GIVEITEM script
Hey guys
So here is the thing. I am compiling script to the ROM I am making and it worked fine since today. Today I encountered a big bug (?) about the giveitem command. I am at like 70% compiling the whole ROM and I did the exact same things so far. the command giveitem 0xD 0x1 MSG_OBTAIN stopped working for some weird reason! When I do this command (with any item and any amount) it just tells the msgbox before the npc gives you the item for a second time and then for some weird reason ,it teleports you to an area in SAFARI ZONE with mixed up tiles (and i can't even move there). For some reason other when i do giveitem 0xD 0x1 MSG_FIND it works but it hides a random sprite from the map 0_o I tried to do the very same script on a much older version of the ROM and it worked just perfectly. Since then I haven't edited nearly any hex with a hex editor or something weird like this (just some multi-choice boxes although) ... what would be the problem? I can't understand! |
