Trainer 766 December 27th, 2016 5:20 AM

Can't answer lol. Broke asf.

Gabri December 27th, 2016 5:22 AM

You know all those memes and stuff around the internet that relate to the typical broke university student?

That's me. I relate to all of that.

Nah December 27th, 2016 5:52 AM

Depends on if you consider ~$10,500 in the bank and working for $11.75/hr part time wealthy

I don't

blue December 27th, 2016 7:28 AM

eh, i've got savings so i'm not too worried atm.

moon December 27th, 2016 8:44 AM

I can buy what I need and want. I think it's ok.

Meganium December 27th, 2016 10:01 AM

I'm still trying to recover from a horrible 2016 in financial terms. I'm fine with the job I got, but it's gonna get better in 2017. At least I was able to afford Christmas. I was super grateful of that.

MadHatter62 December 27th, 2016 11:10 AM

Money? I have no idea what that is.

Sheep December 27th, 2016 11:36 AM

Have about the same amount as Nah saved in my bank right now, and starting a new job (this one's an actual career and not something I'll be replacing) next month. I feel pretty well off atm since I'm not paying for much but I'll have a lot more of my own bills when I move out in the next 1-3 months. Let's revisit this discussion then. [: -nervous-

nah man I need that money

Alex December 27th, 2016 12:18 PM

I live at home with a full time job, so I've got lots of savings. I usually don't buy much but if I do want something, I can afford it.

Esper December 27th, 2016 12:31 PM

I get paid enough to cover monthly expenses, put some into savings, and still have something to spend on other things. Not wealthy, but not poor. I'm just lucky not to have lots of expenses or I would be pretty poor.

Sothis December 27th, 2016 1:05 PM

Paycheck to paycheck here, sometimes I'll get extra money but mostly I worry a lot.

Somewhere_ December 27th, 2016 1:28 PM

im a dependent, so no worries... yet. Im saving money up for college and I'm working, so i think ill be fine.

my biggest worry right now are those godamn payroll taxes. they annoy the hell out of me.

Sirfetch’d December 27th, 2016 3:44 PM

I'm not wealthy, but I am not exactly broke either. I only work part-time so I don't have a lot of income coming in but I am able to set some aside considering I live at home. I can't just go out and buy things that are super expensive whenever I feel like it, but I can easily set extra side if I want something each month.

User19sq December 27th, 2016 3:50 PM

Pretty broke. Can't get a job. So I go home with ramen whenever I can.

But I love the lime-shrimp kind!

pastelspectre December 27th, 2016 4:23 PM

i uh. don't have a job yet so not really, however whenever i do have money i usually bust it out on food like cici's pizza or ordering pizza.. ;w;

Mawa December 27th, 2016 6:56 PM

Full of debt because studies, but living at my parents atm so it helps a lot.

gimmepie December 27th, 2016 10:01 PM

I'm thousands of dollars in debt and have like $300 left in my savings.

Logan December 28th, 2016 3:33 AM

i have a full-time income but i save 0 money

my current account is usually over 4 figures unless i buy something stupid (like a new car)

i do have quite a few assets though which would contribute to my wealth i guess

Kikaito plush December 28th, 2016 6:54 AM

Hey baby....j/k lol

NinjaRaichu December 28th, 2016 11:00 AM

I'm pretty okay the now because I still live at home but I couldn't afford proper rent and bills on my wage. I have £1k in savings.

Lunar December 28th, 2016 12:03 PM

I'm living at home with my parents and don't need to buy anything too often. I have enough money to pay my phone bill, buy petrol and anything else I need. I also have 1.5k in savings so I should be fine for the time being :3

donavannj December 29th, 2016 7:48 AM

I'm not poor per my annual income, at least relative to my area (~$36k base salary; just above qualifying for "affordable" housing in my area), but I do have a sizable debt load (still totals lower than my annual income).

I don't

I mean, the amount you've got stashed away would slash away at a sizable chunk of my current debt load and is way more than I've actually got saved, myself.

Zeffy December 29th, 2016 9:42 AM

y..y'all got any extra money for me out there? i'm willing to exchange services

Not that I'm terribly aware of how much the cost of living here is, but if I was to suddenly move out I think that'd get burned up fairly quick and what I make atm would not be enough to keep up.

It's probably at least a bit more expensive where you are than where I am. I think you can get an 1800 square foot 3 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms for about $250k in most of the towns around me. That's probably not the case where you are.

Star-Lord December 30th, 2016 11:50 AM

I'm comfortable. A lot of my savings had had to be used in the past few months due to some unforseen expenses but I suppose that's why you save money in the first place Just means no vacation for me :(

Nick January 3rd, 2017 2:44 PM

I've got some debt that I need to finish paying off before I can fully work on saving up. I have four figures in my account, but it's low enough for me to be extremely uncomfortable and hesitant to do anything, which is a good thing because in the past, I've been very reckless with money and self control. That contributes to my debt problem. I have enough to pay most of it off, but I'm exercising some financial responsibility by refraining from doing so all at once. I actually was working on budgeting all of my income to come on paying off my debt.

Aside from the occasional depression for not exactly being where I want to be in life professionally, my financial situation is a great cause of stress and anxiety for me that won't go away until this debt is paid.
