NOW I know how we could download patches onto CDs, lookie here:
"The Blu-Ray DVD is a critical piece of this strategy. As I learned in Tokyo, its multiple layers not only can store vast amounts of digital data, they can also be used to record data downloaded from the Internet. For example, after buying the Blu-Ray DVD for Spider-Man 3, a consumer could then add on a game, music video, or a prior sequel from Sony's Web site." It's Sony technology but we'll have the same technology in the end because it also says this: "Sony and its rivals plan to have Blu-Ray DVDs available in less than a year." I could picture this happening on the Revolution. I like the sound of that, I also like the sound of this: "In fact, the blue ray can read as many as eight wafer-thin layers—the top layer being only one-tenth of a millimeter—which can contain 20 times as much data as even a dual-layer conventional DVD. Such massive storage—up to 200 gigabytes—provides an almost endless capacity for add-ons by home audiences." This'd also solve the problem for storing games that you download fron the internet. I found the article on MSN, I guess I'll leave you with the article link http://slate.msn.com/id/2124883/?GT1=6772 (PS: "It's also a vital part of Sony's latest version of its PlayStation, due to be released next year." I certainly hope this won't hurt Nintendo's efforts at all) |
i have seriously gotta join here. i have a ds gamecube and an sp

It's awesome =D Teh card system works well...but the game's pretty challenging. Boss battles take a long time. You just keep on having to hammer them xD Welcome to the club Link! =D |
Total Control
I have recently heard that Nintendo is finally ready to present the Revolution's controller. I don't have much info on this issue but I am very excited. Not sure if you guys knew.
|
I'm REALLY excited!
Absolutely can't wait to see it x3 [Wann be friends ZERO?] |
Welcome to the club Link.
Well it should be a few days till Nintendo lets out something at Space World. Sep 16th is when it is so I hope we get something by then. XD |
I heard they're showing it at the Tokyo Game Show or something soon o.o;
|
Well Tokyo Game Show, Space World whatever it's called. XD
I just know it should come out the 16th. I just hope it doesn't look like some odd type thing that looks really bad. -_-;; |
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v137/tcgoku3/MetroidPrime3finalBoxart.jpg
some metriod prime 3 boxart its fake cause it says its by someone its cool though Imagine if the revoloutions controller was a mind control you use your mind that would be a revoloution (i suck at this huh) |
That looks like a sweet box art.
I don't think the mind control thing would fly all that well. I mean I wouldn't want it hooked up to my mind. XD |
Agreed XD
But, EGM's latest article said there was almost 100% chance of a touch screen o.o; I say that's bull :P |
I thought Nintendo said it wasn't going to have a touch screen (I'm not saying EGM is right but I thought I read tht Nintendo isn't going to have a touch screen on the controller)? Well in any case I can't wait to see what they got in 13 days (if they spit something out at the Tokyo Game Show).
|
Ya, Nintendo did confirm that they weren't interested in doing another two-screened system.
Gyro sensors are still a realistic hope though~ Anyways, I'm really excited too. Incredibly excited x3 |
*goes forward through time*
I can tell you what the nintendo revolution controller is *says it and sony person steals idea* did you know that sony are making a touch screen add on for the psp unless someone in the club said that |
Katsuro: But what about touch screen stuff?
Espio: Nah, a PSP Touch Screen add on just doesn't sounds right. I mean I also don't know how it would work (maybe like a pad type thing running out of the USB port). |
Touch screen would mean two screens. Nintendo's already denied that.
PSP =/= Touchscreen Sony's not creative enough :P |
Quote:
And the PSP wouldn't have a touch screen. But I think it would be nice to see all them hard core PSP fans (that hate the DS) go "OH MY, this touch screen is a great idea". XD 11 more days till the Tokyo Game Show. |
Hey Arcanine can I join? I was a nintendo fanboy back in the early NINTENDO 64 days,
also That metroid prim boxart looked of the hook, but I wasnt feeling the revolution logo,it doesnt looks sophisticated. Does anyone have info on the NR graphics? |
Yea you can join. Welcome to the club renagadez.
The graphics on the Rev hasn't been let out yet (Nintendo is keeping a tight lip on the Rev). Most thinks it's going to be out at the Tokyo Game Show with a demo of Mario 128. Even then that won't be the full power of the graphics, we all know Mario games are not the games with the best graphics. Something like Star Wars could be a game that shows the full power of the Rev's graphics. But to me I think they'll be good. LoZ: TP's graphics look great, almost as good as some XBox 360 game graphics. And LoZ: TP is on the GameCube. So I think Nintendo will be up there with the PS3 and the 360 on graphics. |
Thanks alot for the info, but I hope *fingers crossed* the nintendo revolution will be the top selling system for awhile because the nintendo gamecube was lacking in sales.
I just cant wait till next year,I wish all you guys get the NR. Thanks for letting me join Arcanine,How did you react to getting your gamecube for the first time?(if you have one) |
Quote:
I hope all of us get the Rev and have it online. I'm sure all of us will have tons of fun battling and playing with each other. That's a really big thing to me, being able to play online with other members of PC and this club. You're welcome, any fan of Nintendo is welcome to the club. I got my GC 4 days after it came out (so I think it was sooner then most people). I waited till Christmas to open it since I didn't want to pay for it, and when I first got the GC I didn't have a game for it (SSBM wasn't out till a month after the GC came out). My first reaction to getting the GC was shocked, I mean it was a new game system. But my first reaction to a GC game was "WOW!!!". I didn't own a PS2 at the time and I never seen such great graphics as I saw on the opening of SSBM. It blew me away (I still think it's great graphics), ever since then I been a big fan of the GC. |
I haven't said much for a few days, but just something a little random so you know I'm still alive.

Quote:
Oh well I guess a touch screen controller would suck. I just hope the controller itself doesn't suck. XD Quote:
But on almost every game I play I pick Luigi over everyone else. And you're replying enough, there isn't any set number of posts you got to post. XD Quote:
Ok here is a topic. What game ticked you off the most. The game that just pissed you off and you just didn't like one bit (I'm not talking about the game itself, I'm talking about something in the game that made you so mad). For me it was StarFox Adventures. Something in that game pissed me off (I think it was the C-Stick, it was messed up and was moving around and around and around when I was playing) so much that I jerked the controller out hit the bed with it and then throwed it on the floor really hard. Hard enough for me to mess it up and had to buy a new one. I'm sure none of you have done anything that bad before. XD |
Hey, don't go crazy on what I said earlier. I was only joking. I suppose it IS difficult to tell whether somebody is joking or not on the internet though.

You know what the sad thing is? I have never every played Tetris. I've played other games like that but I have never played Tetris. XD
Well ToysRUs.com has done up a page on the Revolution it's nothing new. But at least they got a page up (they used to only have the 360). They do have a line in there that says "is rumored to be available in March 2006", sadly I don't think that's true. I'm thinking about doing up some small FreeWebs (yes yes I know, it sucks but don't you webmasters and stuff think about that XD) on the Rev. Pics and info and facts and all that other stuff. I must say, this is the sweetest looking GBM I've seen. Almost makes me want to get one (almost XD). http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000AX226C.01.PT03.LZZZZZZZ.jpg 4 more days till the Tokyo Game Show. And this better not be the last post till then. XD |
fu fu fu fu fu
XD teh sweet XD though some dudes in the uk designed some for teh offical ninty mag in the uk |
GBM <33
It's teh smexiness, but, I already have an SP ~.~; Originally I had a regular GBA, but then I sold it to get the SP. Not selling my SP to get teh Micro. No way :P |
I was watching G4 today and they said they were going to be at the Tokyo Game Show and will be showing the 27th of Sep (it's not going to be live, because if it was then we would all be in the bed XD). Now what I'm wondering is if the TGS is the 16th or the 27th. O_o
|
Paul to the rescue!
It's teh 16th, 17th, and 18th ^^ |
Quote:
Not that that matters anyway, nothing I say lately matters. My world is imploding, but it doesn't matter. |

I don't think I could last to the 27th if Nintendo was going to let out the controller at the TGS. Quote:
That's not true, you bring up lots of good topics and ideas. |
Hey can I join I'm like the ambassador of Nintendo in Newquay (down in cornwall) Have HAD almost all the systems bu I had to sell them to get a gamecube!! (I had no money and I was desperate to get one on release!) I also have all the handhelds which I kept hold of and a pretty priceless virtual boy!! :D

You should really try BK o.o; It's a fun game =D At least rent it ;D |
Rent it? That's a good one. XD
Remember how long it took me to find ToS? XD I wonder if a topic about this came up in here. Oh well. XD I wish Nintendo had a fighting game series. I'm not talking about SSB, that doesn't fall into the fighting category. See Sony has Tekken, and Microsoft has Dead or Alive. But Nintendo doesn't have one of their own that is only on their systems (I know Tekken was once on the GBA but that was the only handheld at the time, there are 7 Tekken games out right now and 6 out of the 7 were on Sony and the last was on the GBA). I love Tekken games, and if I had an X-Box I would get DoA. But to me it's sad that I can't find a Nintendo only fighting game for it. I just hope they get one on the Rev. |
Hmmm...You're right 0_o;
They should make a cool one =D But you know how Nintendo is with mature games ~.~; |
get ready to XDDDDDDDD
tomorrow (September 16th, 2005) is the day Spong says teh revolution controller is to be released. heck yes!!!!!!!! die ps3 <3 Revo/360 |

The Nintendo Revolution Controller
Revolution Controller pics: http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a247/Arcanine_PC/Revcpic1.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a247/Arcanine_PC/Revcpic2.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a247/Arcanine_PC/Revcpic3.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a247/Arcanine_PC/Revcpic4.jpg Revolution Controller Links: Ok guys I want to ask you to do a few things before going "AHHHHHHHHHHHH Nintendo is going to go to hell because of that Controller". I want you to take the time and read, I got a few links here that most likely will change your mind of the controller. If you're like me then when you first saw it you thought it was the stupidest thing in the world and might have thought Nintendo is going to pay for the look of the controller. But please, take the time and read the pages I give you. http://hardware.gamespot.com/Story-ST-15143-2567-x-x-x (There are two pages to the link above, remember to click "Next Page" when you get to the bottom) http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/09/15/news_6133335.html http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/09/15/news_6133389.html I know, it's a heck of a lot of reading. But if I did it then anyone can (because I hate reading XD). But if you're lazy like me and don't feel like reading all that (yes I did read it all XD), then I have a small run down of what it can do below (as in way down the page). Revolution Controller, my thoughts When I first saw it I looked at it as something really really stupid. Before it came out I pictured something like a GC controller, but it was wireless and had lots of things on it. How wrong was I when I got up this morning, got on GameSpot and clicked the link to the controller. There it was, sitting in front of me was a remote control. I was shocked sooooo much and had a feeling of such let down by the controller. Then I was like "What is Nintendo thinking by this remote?", I wasn't thinking about how Nintendo comes up with crazy ideas and they work too. Me being a Nintendo FanBoy I still had hope in Nintendo and had hope in this remote control. So I got out there and read about it, and I had and open mind on it. It has a type of USB port on the bottom, you can use that for the analog stick, you might be able to use it for a headset in online games (shooting games). As well as lots and lots of other stuff, it's really no different then the USB port on top of the PSP. That has lots and lots of potential, for all we know there might be a converter made for it so that you can play games with your GC controller (I know it has 4 ports on top of the Rev). Nintendo has always been away from the norm, analog stick rumble pack, 4 controller ports, small CDs, touch screen, two screens etc. I'm sure lots of people saw the N64 controller and went "<_< What is this? Since when did we have 3 hands? This controller is stupid!". Wasn't so stupid when everyone got around to play it. I think this might be the same with the Rev. To me it's the worst looking controller I have ever seen. But sometimes looks is not the same as playing. For all we know, this controller might just change gaming as we know it. To me, after reading all them GS pages I got to say Nintendo hasn't lost it yet. They are not thinking outside the box, they are remaking the box. I think Nintendo is taking the right road with this. As of right now most games are looked at as good because of the graphics. I saw Kill Zone on the PS3 and I was shocked, it had killer graphics. But the thing is, if games are only as good as the graphics then we're done for in the gaming stuff. I don't see the graphics getting much better then they are now. If it was just for graphics then I say we got 1 maybe 2 gens left before graphics won't get any better. What happens then? We stop playing games and just leave it at that? Nintendo is looking back and then looking ahead. I'm sure some of you have played Duck Hunt on the NES (my cousin has it and every time we go over to his house I play that game). You got the little game gun and you blast the ducks. And I know most of you own a N64. Well Nintendo kind of took both of them things and put them in the controller. The trigger button is back with the Rev controller. And I think that will be great for shooting games (more on that below). The pointer or whatever also moves when you move your controller when looking at the TV. They are rethinking gaming and doing stuff their own way. Well I think I'll say the specs and stuff below. For now most people is going to see the Rev controller and be pissed at Nintendo. Before I saw the DS I thought two screens was a stupid idea, well I was wrong. Untill everyone can get their hands on it and feel it and use it, it's going to be looked at as a stupid idea. I just hope down the road Nintendo will let out a controller that is like the GC controller. Revolution Controller, a few things it can do If you done read all them links then don't worry about this since it's more or less something you done know about. The Nintendo Revolution Controller is way different then anything we saw before. Here is a few things it can do. On Screen Movement Lets say you are playing Metroid or another shooting game. With the Rev controller you'll be able to do more then just move around and shoot. You remember what I said about Duck Hunt. Well this is like that game lots of us has played. You don't move the C-Stick or this or that to point and shoot. You use the controller itself to do that. Here is a little quote from the first link. "because the console actually tracks where you're pointing the controller at the screen, thanks to a small transmitter hidden inside the top of each controller. That's right, you can move around onscreen just by pointing the controller in a different direction." That means on like a Metriod game you point and shoot, you don't have to move the gun with the C-Stick (I'm guessing it's the C-Stick, I've never played a Metroid game on the GC so I wouldn't know) to shoot. Because the "B" button on the bottom of it acts as a trigger. So it will be sweet for shooting games. The Port on the Bottom That USB type port is for sticking in an analog stick or a headset or whatever Nintendo has planed for it. I think it's a good add on and might change a lot of minds when/if Nintendo makes tons of cool (I never say "cool" XD) stuff for that port. The Controller Shape Oh.... yea, it's strange. I really don't know what to say on the shape because it's way way way way out of the norm. Like I said before, Nintendo isn't thinking out of the box, they are remaking the box. Nintendo really isn't the one that just goes with the flow, it's stuff is different then all the rest. And for some reason 99% of the time it turns out to be really good (even if it doesn't look good at first). We should all have an open mind on it. Remember, the controller can be turned side ways and used like the old NES controller. So in a way you can play the old style. The Controller Buttons The controller has 11 buttons on it (counting the D-Pad as 4 buttons) and a power button (but I'm not counting that one as a button). And the analog stick has 2 more. So a total of 13 buttons on it. The strange thing is, the GC controller has 12 buttons (but it does have a C-Stick), so it has less then the Rev. I think that's about it, and I know no one is really going to read all this. So I guess I should stop now. XD |
Ok firstly, I am really surprised at what Nintendo have come up with for the Revolutions controller, it makes the systen and it's controller overall look kind of like a DVD player, you know with it looking like a remote controll that you use for TV's, DVD players etc. But we all know that Nintendo come up with innovative ideas on each of their consoles, and this is exactly the same, one thing that worries me though, is having to get used to using both hands on two seperate controller type things, usually you have both your hands on one controller, but these are seperated, that would feel wierd at first, the Gamecube's controller was just simple easy to pick up and get used to using it, but they do already have somewhere to plug your GCube controllers in so you can play Gamecube games with them and stuff.
My initial reaction like you said, was WTF!!!! have Nintendo gone mad?.. Like I said, I was surprised, but this is just like you said, like with the N64 controller, which was strange but rather easy to get to grips with, but I like the idea of waving it around to see the action on screen, for games like Zelda, even though it may make you look like a complete moron, it is quite fun to do XD. Just using something similiar in shape to a TV controller to play games, is something I never saw coming, me being a Nintendo fanboy also, I am yet again amazed at the ideas coming from them, certainly out of the normal with this, but it does usually turn out as a good thing, I just can't wait to see some videos of Revolution games coing out, because there are ones for the PS3 and XBOX 360, but they are coming out earlier, but I am thinking the wait will be worth it, and plus the controller is wireless, no more wires getting tangled up with eachother, in my point of view, that is a good thing, I do have to say, I like the look of it and they are Revolutionizing gaming, just like they did with the DS, like you said, some games are only as good as the graphics, but Nintendo aren't looking at graphics as we know, they are going to have really nice graphics in the Rev's games, but they aren't going for all out power processing for it, like Sony and Microsoft, they are focusing on the main factor of gaming, gameplay XD. Sure graphics are sweet and all, but they don't make the game. XD |
At first...I was very taken aback. The thought of a vertical controller shocked me and made my faith in Nintendo falter.
Then I read what it could do. Sensing 3D movement is beyond cool. Beyond anything ever done. Can't wait to be playing Metroid Prime: 3 and actually move the controller to look around. At the moment, my thinking is that it'll pull the player completely into the game. Got an evil zombie in front of you? Literally hack it to pieces with the controller emulating the axe you're holding. x3 This absolutely kicks butt. |
I think the new controller is absolutely astonishing! I have to disagree with you Andy, because I think this is one of the best designs (if not the best ever)
I know Xbox and Sony are going to be a little puzzled, and quite mad that they won't be doing something more futuristic. As we can see Nintendo is becoming more and more innovative, while strengthing its hardware so it can once again be the number 1 gaming console. I think that what Nintendo Exec's said foreshadowed the actual design of the controller, and I laugh at how many people were wrong about the design. I mean literally every single person was wrong. "wow" Nintendo's NDA's really do work XDDDDD Anyhoo I am off to spread the word of the new controller ^___^ 2006 Is The Year Of The Mario Bros. |
i found another pic, so take a look

That's awesome x3
I like the glossy white one ^^ Apple all the way =D |
yay red all the way XD o.O my bro's playing pokemon channel behind me
|
i think i like the red one the best so far..,but actually is strange that they not include blue .
|
I think the green and red controllers look like candy x3
|
Well, I dunno about candy lets see....0.o...o.0...O.o...^.0.....O.-...-.0......^_^
Still looks fine to me XD Oh man, Nintendo are gunna kick ***, 3D movement is the closest thing to being literally put into the game thats ever been done. I hope people don't take it the wrong way because of how the controller looks.....I also hope they improve how it looks when they finalize it. OK, im gonna get on paint and dream up some controller attachments XD Edit: Hehe, im done on paint - http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/9205/revolution1um.jpg Comments please, oh and I just thought, imagine having 4 controllers, 1 strapped to each of your hands and feet, it could be a fully-interactive fighting game! ^_^ Man, Nintendo are so gonna rule!!!! ~Newten5 |
can i join? i have am SP and a gamecube. i just cant EVER find any good GBA games.

I'm about to head out the door so I'm going to see if I can make this quick (you guys know how I love to rant about Nintendo XD)
Quote:
It's something new, it's something fresh, it's something unheard of, it's something called the Nintendo Revolution. That should be a slogan or something. XD Quote:
If everyone took the time and read up on what it can do then they would love it. If I never took the time to read what the controller can do and just looked at the pics and went "Screw it, I'm not getting a Rev" then I would be the one at a loss. At first the controller looks like something we would never use. But after reading it, I can't think of not being able to play without it (I was reading and someone there that got to test it said that same thing). I think it's going to be the future of gaming. I think Nintendo has it's ace, sure he PS2 and 360 most likely has better graphics. But the Rev has a way better controller. Quote:
Sony said that the PS3's controller isn't set in stone. And they said that after Nintendo let out their controller. Now it could be that they just want to change a few things. Or, they might be pulling another PS N64 controller thing (where they came out with the Dualshock and it had analog sticks and a rumble pack). I remember seeing a controller design where it was split in two (you had to use two hands to use it). I think that was the closest design to the Rev's controller. Ok I'm walking out the door right now. So I will edit this when I get back or reply if a post is made. |
Long post arcanine. really long. I agree it's probaly gonna be like an arcade game system or something.
|
let me join this clubby please.
|
Yeah but remember, the Revolution has gamecube controller ports too. So it can do everything the other consoles can do ON TOP OF the brand new features and possibilities that the new controller offers. Man its gonna PWN!!!
I still can't beleive nobody has made a comment on the controller attachment stuff I posted lol that took me a while you know XD Oh and Arcanine, I just noticed that some of the Nintendo club banners say "Nintedo" lol it made me laugh ^_^ ~Newten5 |
So who's buying that Microgameboy advance. I wanna.
|
I would but I dont think you can play GBC or GB games on and it doesnt have a link port so if thats true I don't think I will bother :P However if it can play old games and does have a link port, I might just get one ^_^
Or I might buy it if it comes with the play-yan and is worth the money so it can play MP3 and MPEG, that sounds cool :) I don't know about getting one really XD But it does look cool! (Is everyone ignoring me about my controller attachements stuff?) ~Newten5 |

I didn't make a NES one because apparantly you can just turn the controller around to use it as a NES controller XD Oh and I was actually thinking of using a banner, thats why I was looking in the first place, Is it OK if I use the one in your sig? Or is that for you only? ^_^
~Newten5 |
Quote:
Kind of, the one in the banner started out for everyone to use (that's why the "Owner/Founder" part of the banner is not on the main banner). But I really wanted one just for me. But I am making a new banner for the club (I think I'm still going to keep this one). It's going to have the new Rev controller on it and it's going to have the white Rev and text etc. Edit: I just got two banners up for the club (one of them is kind of like mine but not the same). And I fixed the two banners that was messed on on the "Nintendo" part (you might have to reload the image to see the change). I really need to make some DS/GBA/SP/GBM banners. XD |
Can I join? I have a Gamecube, DS, and a Gameboy Advance SP. I am also excited about the Revolution. I really like the controller. And if I join can I put one of those cool buttons in my sig?

Here is another pic with all the colors of the controllers. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v87/Arcanine_88/controllercolors.jpg Well Just incase any of you haven't seen this yet I'll post about it. Here is a post FG made about the controller. Quote:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v87/Arcanine_88/IGNmockup.jpg (note: That is not the real shell, it's a pic someone from IGN made) To me it's going to be even better then before (before I found out about the shell). I was kind of wondering how I was going to play the Super Smash Bros game on the Rev and that part and that pic tells right there. I'm going to get the best of both worlds with the Rev controller. I get to play first-person shooters and swing swords around and all that kind of stuff with the remote. And I'll also get to play with the old style controller like what I'm used to. I think it's going to be really really sweet and I can't wait to get my Nintendo Revolution. |
That is absolutely awesome (I don't use that word very often) That answers all the other questions I had floating around my head. But.....I don't think they will make a "Gamecube" shell, I mean, gamecube controllers can be plugged in already XD But Nintendo 64 shells and SNES shells and so on are the ones that will be made I think ^_^ Its gonna rock even more than I thought!!!! FWEEE XD (BTW, that shell pic is simply cool)

COOL! That's awesome Arcanine! so it's for the gamecube controller too right?
|
Thanks Arcanine. And yes the Revolution is going to be compatible with Gamecube accessories. So you should be able to use Gamecube controllers on the Revolution. But I really like the Gamecube shell that ign made. I hope Nintendo makes something like it.
EDIT:Just call me JB. |

I will have to by a shell if it looks like that cause I love the GC control XD |

XD Couldn't resist~ Anyways, AWESOME BANNER! It looks awesome =D And, just use the Wavebird ;D I <3 mine. And didn't Nintendo say that the new controller wouldn't have an "A" button 0o; |
Quote:
And yea, I think I do remember Nintendo saying something about no "A" button in the next controller. |
Your Nintendo Club banner of course o_______________________o;

Then again it does look sweet. XD |
It looks more than sweet. If you didn't use it, then I'd steal it for my sig and add a frame that says "Andy votes Paul BTW"
XD |
Quote:
I mean I think I'm like the only member on PC with a banner/button in his/her sig. Well I think Steve has one. XD |
*wanders in* Okay, fiiine. I'll join. XD Now welcome me!
|
Welcome oh great Lightning! We bow to your Nintendo-ness! Andy~ I just realized that banner is two banners XD |

Either one is good. XD
I still haven't gotten that video footage of the controller in action to load for me. ;_; So all I've seen are pictures as of now. It looks interesting so far, to say the least. o_O |
That movie took me forever to download. I just let it download all night and went to bed. XD
I guess just seeing that mini movie of the people jumping around is worth it. It kind of gives you an idea on why it can do (sort of). |
Sorry for not posting... XD... I forgot I was in clubs here... I just saw this checking another club... oh whatever... talking about the Revolution's Controller, huh? XD. I will love that controller... with the sword part that was in the video... I just can't wait for a TLOZ game in the Revolution! I think when you move the controller upwards and the character jumps, kinda reminds me of the old days of Mario... think so... XD soemthing jumped when you do that in an old console now... or maybe I'm just so crazy XD.
|
lol I go with crazy XD
And yeah, a Legend of Zelda game with the controller as the sword would rock! ^_^ ~Newten5 |

I think we're talking about it. Most of the members (if not all) of this club like the controller and is really open minded with the stuff it will be able to do. I myself can't wait till I get my hands (or hand since it's a one handed thing XD) on it and play it. Quote:

In other news (I sound like a show XD). The GameBoy Micro in Japan broke the SP's opening week sells record. The SP sold 110,000 units and the Micro sold 148,000 units. GameSpot page on it |

Oh! And I'm joining. It's taken me forever, but I'll join. It's Nintendo afterall, and Andy's pic is great. |

Anyway welcome to the Club Triffy. I know you'll fit in just right around here. Edit: Well we're now on the 1st page of the OC (Other Clubs) threads listed as the most posts. So we got one of the largest threads in OC. Congreats to everyone that worked on getting us here. Now for number 1! *gets beat up by everyone* XD |
Anways, guys expect some nintendo news coming up soon :D
a revolution is coming.... (lmao im sounding just like seriousgamer007 eh arcy XD) |
Heres a new topic, do you think Nintendo’s going to anything special with the shell for the Rev. controller (like add a extra button or something)? For me I doubt it, but you can never be too sure with what Nintendo’s going to come out with!

I will have a lot of space to move around with that controller!!... this will be just reaaally awesome...

Because as of right now, the only news I want to hear/see about the Rev is the specs of the Rev and the graphics. I want to see if Nintendo didn't just put all their time in their controller. I think and hope their graphics will be good, and I really want to see what they got. Quote:
Well I'm betting on the L and R buttons will be back on the shell, and both the Z buttons will be on it (maybe kind of like the PS2 controller style, where you got R1 and R2 on the right and L1 and L2 on the left). I think it will have 2 analog sticks and both will most likely be in the same spot they are on the GC. There will be a home button and it will most likely be where it has the GC logo on the controller (kind of out of the way so you don't click it every time you jump). The Start and Select will be in the middle right next to each other. The "A", "B", "X" and "Y" buttons will be around the same spot just maybe in different places and different sizes. The GC controller was voted as the best controller design. If Nintendo makes a shell based off of it then they won't change it all that much. And Nintendo also wants to make the controller simple where anyone can play it. I don't think they would add much more to the GC controller. Quote:

But the thing is, my TV is the largest in the house. XD Quote:
