well it was poorly done....The trainer sprite, wasn't transparent so,it made that white spot,so you couldn't see the background. You also drew the letters, and didn't even put in the badges.-_-

And you do know that there is an edit button. To avoid double posting,go to your last post, and edit it,and put what you need to say there, otherwise your going to get reported -_-

Requester Ranking

Attention both Card Requesters and Card Artists! Behold my idea for keeping everyone happy in this wonderful forum! A Requester Ranking System!
Card Artists: Get people to follow your directions, and give you feedback.

Card Requesters: Get recognition for your awesome request that follows the proper format. Try to get the highest score on every card you request!

Here's how it works. Requesters, you request a card from a participating artist. They make your card, then judge you on how accurate your request was. They can also give you bonus points for extra things you add to make their lives easier. Artists, by participating, you will probably see an increase in the number of people following your request format.

How to get in: Artists, simply make a post here with criteria that you are looking for. When people request to be graded, you add their name to your post here, and grade them in a new post. Requesters, all you have to do is tell the artist you would like to participate.

The Object: Requesters, beat all your friend's score from a certain artist! Make an awesome request and be friendly, and see your score rise. Compare your score to others to see how you rank.

An Example, and My Criteria:

Base=0. Positive=Good, Negative=Bad.

Name: Mewtwo-EX
Score: +20 (could be higher, lower, or negative)

Form
Points for Request:
+5 for Animated
+3 for Standard
Uses an official form:
+5 for adding useful info to the official form
+3 for the official form

The Post

Keeps Requesting Same Card while it’s still in the works:
-3 per extra request ("Hi, I'd like card X". an hour later, "Hi, just so you know, I'd like card X". 30 minutes later, "Hey, don't forget, I want card X")
Easy to Read/Grammer/Punctuation:
+3 for exceptional
+1 for standard
-1 for substandard,
-3 for terrible

The FollowupFollows Up:

Sorry. I meant to click yes but hit no.

Forest Grovyle February 15th, 2006 11:58 PM

mewtwo-EX: All discussion related to suggestions for the T-card forum belongs in the T-card lounge, as it says in its first post. :) I shall merge your thread with the lounge so that members can give their opinions there. I've kept the poll so that people can show their opinions on it - after this we can always clear the poll and use it for other issues. ^^

Yours is great, but it could be a tad more creative, like mine.

Bishopoké, the idea is rather original, but there's one small problem, the T-card is way too crowded and the Pokémon names are hard to read...

I should fix that, shouldn't I?
Attachment 30611
Edit: fixed, i guess

It looks all pixely now that you made it bigger....

Barboach February 17th, 2006 11:14 PM

is any one a TC maker here?

mewtwo-EX February 18th, 2006 8:22 AM

I am...check out the first link in my sig. I have 2 designs available, with another that should be available within a few days.

Hero of legend February 18th, 2006 11:30 AM

What do other people think of my TC?

It's in my sig!

mewtwo-EX February 18th, 2006 7:42 PM

Quite nice. It's very clean, and everything is sharp. If you get the chance, I'd like to see you take that design and improve on it! That's what makes a great TCard artist.

ChickoStick220 February 25th, 2006 9:12 PM

How do u put your trainer cards or ect on there is there a special place that u can do that?

mewtwo-EX February 25th, 2006 10:42 PM

Superd188: You can make a TCard using any graphical editor, even MS Paint that comes with Windows. More advanced editors such as Photoshop, make things easier. You can also use programs that are supposed to be used for other stuff, such as GameMaker, to make a program that will make cards. That's what I'm in the process of making. Check out info here: [ Link ] (Updated 2006-02-12) TCard FAQ

BlanesApprentice:
Cool card! The only problem I see with it is that one has no idea which ribbons belong to which pokemon.

ChickoStick220: If you mean: "how do you put TCards in your sig?", then I have a tutorial you can look at. [ Link ] (Updated 2006-02-12) TCard FAQ (I made it myself :D)

General Observation: I've noticed a lot of shops that are using the exact same template, just with diffent backgrounds and colors. This template is given in the TCard Resources, so it's not a problem, but are people really not creative enough to come up with their own designs? I really don't think we need a bajillion shops offering effectivly the same thing. I believe my cards are popular because they are different. I wish other artists would realize this as well.

How Do U Make A Animation? What Kind Of System Do U Need

mewtwo-EX February 26th, 2006 4:11 PM

I will be posting a tutorial soon. Please check my TCard FAQ linked in my sig.
As far as programs go, it depends on what you want to make. If you want animated video with sound, you should use Flash. If you want full motion rendered video, you should use 3DStudio Max, Maya, etc. What you are probably asking is, how do you make animation for trainer cards.

This is fairly easy, if you have the proper programs. I use Adobe ImageReady, although there are others available. This will be detailed in my tutorial which should be up within a few hours / days depending on external factors.

I find the best animation program UnFreez;
Anyway, did you or someone else make the Miniature Grass TC in your sig?
I'm just telling you that the set up is wrong (and it's all dotty). Here is an example on how a card like that should be set up (I know because I designed the template):

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a168/kougawolf/Chiitc.gif
The Male/Female symbols are suppose to go behind the Pokemon and the bottom slots are used for the names/nicknames of each Pokemon.

Sky_Ace February 26th, 2006 7:14 PM

Can someone tell me how to make a T-Card? (I don't have a REAL computer yet, I don't even have a paint program on my PSP O__O, but I'm expecting to get one in the next few months, and that info will come in use once I do......I'm also gonna read Mewtwo-Ex's T-Card FAQ.)

espeongirl February 26th, 2006 8:35 PM

as you can see on my signiture thats my trainer card, my first one too
