The name Baker on this isnt very good I know, I was just copying letters off of something and moving them onto here, if I make a shop I will spend moire time on making them looks better, but does anyone know how to use text in paint?

The first one looks ok, but you should try to add more options to it.
The second one hurts my eyes the colors just look horrible.

On the paint program you click on the A on the toolbar and create a box. Then you type in that box and can make it bigger or smaller with the text toolbar. You have to be on normal size though or it won't work.

They both look fuzzy and stretched. Other than that, they're cool.

Very small and squished together... Work on the colours a bit and it'll be good.

Lokhlan May 23rd, 2005 12:18 AM

Definitely an improvement. =)
Everything still looks a little blurry & squished though. =\

Baker's Bulbasaur May 23rd, 2005 7:41 AM

thanks ^_^

do you, or anyone know how I can make it less blurry? im only using paint thoagh.

Lokhlan May 23rd, 2005 9:12 AM

I think one reason it looks so blurry is because of the way you squish your images when you place them on the template. If you can manage to stop that, I'm sure that would prevent a lot of the blurry look. :)

The trainers and Pokemon look a bit to small, try keep the trainers the same size as they where at the start and try using pokemon pinball sprites, u will find them here- http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=38957 :D

those are the pokemon sprites I have already been using!

the ones at the bottom next to the link to the trainer sprites right?

Stevo-kun May 23rd, 2005 2:11 PM

Ok to be honest, they aren't very good, the sprites look blurry and squashed, the text isn't that good either.

It also looks like you tried to squash the sprite into the box and being as they are Pinball sprite boxes you don't need to see the whole Pokemon.

So you have alot to improve 1/10 for both sorry ^^:

They're okay. Not the best, but they're good. If they're your first then they're pretty good. You definetely improved from the first card. The resizing is weird, and you should cut the Pokemon so they fit inside the boxes.

Baker's Bulbasaur May 23rd, 2005 2:30 PM

very fair and understandable comments. I will work on them and post some more examples when I feel I have improved enough.

thanks people ^_^
