The UnderGrand Idea Role Thread
Welcome to The Underground's Grand Idea Mafia Thread! What is that, you ask? Well, Grand Idea Mafia is a concept from Mafiascum.net, introduced to The PokéCommunity by our very own Superjolt. The idea behind Grand Idea Mafia is that each post in the role thread contains a mafia role, so that Game Masters may use the thread to RNG random roles into a Grand Idea game, where the number rolled corresponds to a post within the role thread, and therefore a role within the thread. So, in this thread, every post made should include a role bolded at the very top, as well as a description (primarily if it's a role that you created, or is not a common mafia role). You may discuss the roles or pretty much anything else you want here, so long as each post contains a role. What should these roles be? Anything! Literally. Go wild. It can range from Vanilla Townie to something so disgustingly broken that it has no right being in a mafia game, ever. A GM has the right to exclude such disgusting roles from their RNG setup, however, so maybe don't make all of the roles like that. If you can't think of anything, just put Vanilla Townie or Mafia at the top. If someone forgets to put something in their post, just consider it a Vanilla Townie or Mafia. As the thread grows, I will attempt to keep track of the roles added and will link them in a master list here. Spoiler: Master List

c/p from community mafia, but got scrapped smh
Greyscale Salzorrah "Three personas, One being..." Greyscale is a special being. They change alignments, powers, and win conditions, depending on the alignment of who targets Greyscale last. Sable Known as the dark and evil persona, they are known to be ruthless. As Sable, they can either choose to roleblock, silence, or give a fabricated item (gun or vest) to one person every night phase. They will turn into Sable when a Mafia-sided action hits them last. They can be killed when they are melted, or if a member of the Mafia kills them. If Mafia targets them while they are Sable, actions will go through as normal. Greyscale wins if mafia wins at the end of the game while they are Sable (either dead or alive) Slate Known as the benevolent and just persona, they are known to be rational. As Slate, they can curse someone to speak in gibberish every night phase for the next phase. They also have their votes counted as two during the day phase. They will turn into Slate when a third party-sided action hits them last. They can be killed when they are melted, or if a third party kills them. If any third party targets them while they are Slate, actions will go through as normal. Greyscale wins if they survive at the end, or if they get melted before N3 starts. Ivory Known as the nice and loving persona, they are known to be caring. As Ivory, they can either choose to protect, investigate, or give a real item (gun or vest) every night phase. They will turn into Ivory when a innocent-sided action hits them last. They can be killed when they are melted, or if an innocent kills them. If any innocent targets them while they are Ivory, actions will go through as normal. Greyscale wins if innocents win at the end of the game while they are Ivory (either dead or alive) |

Failure to do so may have... unwanted results. |

Town Bomb Defuser
All bombs in play are now considered as items (if they weren't already). Each night, the Defuser can visit someone. If the player possesses a bomb, the Defuser will take it away. The Defuser may then choose to cut a wire on a bomb. If they choose the correct wire, the bomb will be defused and will become useless. If they choose wrong however, the bomb will explode, killing both the Defuser and anyone visiting them that night! Each bomb in the game will randomly be assigned either a red or blue wire to determine which one the Defuser must cut in order to successfully defuse it. This also includes any fake bombs, which the Defuser can still cut (though nothing will happen if the "wrong" wire is cut on a fake bomb). Only one bomb can be defused at a time (if the Defuser has multiple bombs they must choose which one they want to attempt to defuse). More notes for the GM: - Able to pass bombs after defusing them - Non-defused bombs can be taken from the Defuser (they can be stolen by thief-type roles or anything that would cause the Defuser to lose items), or passed if the Defuser really wishes - Any type of role that attempts to destroy items to remove them from play will be killed by any real/active bombs that the Defuser has - Bombs count as any sort of item that can explode (up to the GM to decide which items count or don't count) |

The Plaguebearer spreads the Plague through visiting and being visited. The Plaguebearer can visit someone once per night. You can't visit the people who are already infected by the Plague, therefore, you don't need to keep a track on who was infected. The Plague is also spread by visiting and being visited with infected players. Infected players will not know they have been infected. Once all players are infected, the Town is told that Pestilence has been summoned. Once the Plaguebearer turns into Pestilence, Horseman of the Apocalypse, it gains Invincible defense and Powerful rampaging attacks. You will know who's been infected each night. |
