Spoiler:
My only trouble with E4 was actually Lucian, which, despite of the not-really-good AI, managed to black me out one time. But fortunately, the second try was the right one, where Cynthia was completely obliterated by Drapion and eleven Acupressures. https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/venusaur.png SUON PLAYS BINGO https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/feraligatr.png A TYPE LINK CHALLENGE ON POKÉMON SAPPHIRE BINGO! challenges completed: 2/20 UPDATE #2 I'm on a mission, and that is to complete my team. I originally wanted to get a full 6 member team, but since there's gonna be quite some flying around, I decided to make it 5 and catch a Tropius for HM Slave. It's catching time. So I beat Team Aqua at the Weather Institute, defeat May and run straight past Fortree. I get past the invisible Kecleon, avoid as many trainers as possible to save them for later levelling, and climb Mt. Pyre. After a bit of searching, I catch my 4th comrade: GUERRERO the Meditite (Guerrero means warrior in Spanish). I chose a Meditite/Medicham, simply because I never used it before. It has really poor stats, but Pure Power doubles it's attack, which during the run proved to be quite successful (at least, so far...). The next pal is also one I never had as a teammate. I go all the way back to the Meteor Falls and find myself a Lunatone, which I simply call LUNA (Spanish for moon). The plan was to catch an Aron now, but it's lack of wings changed this idea. So I trained everyone to an acceptable level, beat the Fortree gym, beat Team Aqua once again, crush the twins in Mossdeep and go through the whole Kyogre saga. Finally, I beat Wallace (even though I have 2 Grass types, the lack of Electric moves was quite noticeable). Other events: - BARRO evolved into a Swampert. - FUENTE evolved, after exploring the Abandoned Ship, into a Ludicolo. - GUERRERO evolved into a Medicham Now, it's time to head for VR and the Hoenn League, train, and try to beat the E4. All my Pokemon are at level 50, here's how it went: Sydney I've got two fighters at a higher level... Phoebe Here I used both FUENTE and BARRO. Since I don't have any Dark or Ghost moves, it came down to simply brute force. Glacia I start with GUERRERO using Bulk Up, Glalie uses Light Screen. 5 Brick Breaks later, and it's over. Drake Same technique as with Glacia, but now with LUNA and (2x) Calm Mind. Although LUNA is slower than all but Shellgon, the raised Sp. Def. helps a lot. 5 Ice Beams later, and it's over. Champion Steven Now, this got a bit trickier. I start with BARRON against Skarmory. After 2 Waterfalls he swaps for Aggron, which is easily disposed of with 1 Earthquake. Next, Cradily, Armaldo, again Skarmory and Claydol, are stubborn, but when Steven is down to only Metagross, I still have BARRO (half HP), LUNA and SETA left. BARRO gets Metagross it's HP down to about 10, when Metagross uses Hyper Beam to finish of BARRO. He needs to recharge, so no healing. Anyone can finish it, I choose SETA. Because he restores with a berry I need a bit more force. Sky Uppercut: miss... Steven uses Full Restore and... I lose...!!? Well, that was unsuspected... Let's try this again. Sydney See above Phoebe See above Glacia See above Drake See above Champion Steven With a bit more knowhow about his team, I manage to beat Steven this time, and not even with too much trouble. Which means: Challenge número tres completo!! Winning team https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/swampert.png BARRO (f) @lvl 52 Ability: Torrent Impish nature. Time for generation 4. I'm gonna play this one on Platinum, a game I never really played before. Nicknames are gonna be Chinese/Mandarin. Here we go!!
https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/venusaur.png SUON PLAYS BINGO https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/feraligatr.png A SIGNATURE MOVE CHALLENGE ON PLATINUM BINGO! challenges completed: 3/20 UPDATE #1 Since I'm pretty unfamiliar with the games from Gen4 and onward, I start of with doing some research. And after going through the Pokedex, Pokemon locations and movepools, I have made my decision... Normally I let faith decide my starter, but this time I choose for myself. I pick WUGUI the Turtwig (wugui is Chinese for turtle). Now, I'm going to assume that the rules about The Move commence when the first POKEMON actually acquires this move, social just start the game as I normally would. On route 202 I catch SHANDIAN the Shinx (shandian is Chinese for lighting). In the Ravaged Path I catch BIANFU the Zubat (bianfu is Chinese for bat). Figured out the move yet? Indeed, it's Bite... I train my pocket monsters. BIANFU is the first to learn Bite at level 13, and therefore will be placed as first of the team until the others learn Bite as well. It's not too hard. I start every battle with Bite, which causes flinching sometimes. Then I can swap or keep on fighting, as I desire. The first Gym, Roark, is defeated very easy like this. After a Bite from BIANFU, WUGUI finishes it off with 3 Razor Leaves. Also the second (Gardenia) and, especially, the third badge (Fantina) were easy peasy. In Hearthome I get an Eevee as a present. I name him YANHUA (yanhua is Chinese for evolution). At level 29, he should learn Bite too. Until then, I don't think I can use it (correct me if I'm wrong), so I wrap the Exp. Share around his neck. Talking about evolution: - WUNGUI evolved in Grotle - SHANDIAN evolved in Luxio - BIANFU evolved in Golbat and, being the happy bat he is, in Crobat My team https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/platinum/normal/grotle.png WUGUI (m) @lvl28 Naughty nature, good endurance. Pokémon Bingo In-Order Challenge - Black 2 #FINAL Spoiler:
I delayed a bit but I did it wow hype! Hmm, the Elite Four was not as bad as I thought it would be, I didn't want to grind and entered the way I got there, but it was smooth. Shauntal was not a problem. I led with Stoutland and crunched the hell out of Cofagrigus, poor mon did not have anything to hurt me. She fell easily to Golurk, though, but Azumarill handled it fine. Drifblim and Chandelure were no problem to Ampharos and Golduck. Grimsley was the hardest of the four, with Scrafty being able to take 2 Moxies. Stoutland's critical Return saved me from the sweep, fortunately. Caitlin was a laugh. 4 Calm Minds + Dark Pulse Lucario = piece of cake. I had nothing strong against Marshal, honestly (only a Psychic type move in Golduck). But I brute forced him quite easily too. Now, Iris was a pretty decent opponent. I led with Ampharos and managed to critical hit Hydreigon with Signal Beam so no problem. Next up was Aggron. I know this thing has Earthquake so I switched up to Sunflora. OHKOed it with Earth Power but took some damage from Earthquake and Double-Edge, still. Druddigon entered and I decided to sac Sunflora to get a free switch, but Azumarill and Golduck managed to double team him out easily. Lapras was next, and I quickly switched to the half-HP Ampharos. After some stalling he finally took Lapras out. I got pretty lucky by Haxorus getting paralyzed due to Static, so 2 Returns + one Ice Beam were enough. Archeops was easy. And that concludes another challenge in my catalogue. Phew, that was a fun run. And I was able to use Sunflora for the first time too, so I enjoyed it. :) I'll see what I'll do next. Hopefully I won't get a triple post. https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/venusaur.png SUON PLAYS BINGO https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/feraligatr.png A SIGNATURE MOVE CHALLENGE ON PLATINUM BINGO! challenges completed: 3/20 UPDATE #2 - FINALE So I finished the challenge today. It was a pretty interesting run, one that took quite a while (48h27m...), but it was fun. The main challenge was the lack of water and fire attacks. I chose my team, not only because they could all learn Bite, but also because I never really used any of them before (except Crobat). The final team? First of all, I evolved WUGUI in a Torterra and SHANDIAN in a Luxray. Then, I forced happiness upon YANHUA and he evolved in an Umbreon. I've always been an offensive player and avoided defensive walls, so this was an interesting experience. On route 217 I catch a female Snorunt and name her XUE (Xue is Chinese for snow). With a Heart Scale I teach it Bite, and then evolve it in a Froslass. I beat Team Galactic, Giratina and all the Gym Leaders and challenge the E4 with levels around 52. I get far, all the way to Champion Cynthia, but she proves to be too strong. Therefore, I train all my teammates to level 60 and try again. Only Flint and Cynthia are difficult, the other E4 members are easy(ish). Against Flint I have to use pure force, since - except BIANFU against INFERNAPE - only WUGUI has an overall super effective move (you can see the issue here...). Cynthia has a well-balanced team, covering a lot of weaknesses against my team, but this time I am the strongest. My Hall of Fame team https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/platinum/normal/torterra.png WUGUI (m) @lvl 61 Naughty nature, good endurance. Ability: Overgrow. Pokémon Bingo Gift Challenge - Yellow #1 This game confuses me, but I managed to get past 6 gyms already. I battled Blue in Route 22 and won it, as well as the first one (which I'm starting to regret), so his Eevee eventually evolved into Jolteon. Anyway, to the leaders and main events: Brock was my main concern, since my only team member was Pikachu (also, I heard Bind in this game is broken, and it really is). But a few Tail Whips and Quick Attacks were enough to take him out. Misty was... Pikachu?? I battled Blue again on Nugget Bridge and got my second team member in Route 24: Charmander. Battled Blue yet again at S.S. Anne and got HM01 Cut. We're close to the next member, just need one more badge... I literally laughed when I realized Lieutenant Surge had only Raichu. Went straight back to Route 2 by Diglett's Cave and traded a Clefairy with a guy to get Miles, the Mr. Mime. After a lot of frustration in Rock Tunnel (twice, cause I lost against a random NPC just outside Lavender Town and had to walk EVERYTHING again), I arrived at Celadon. Got a lot of items, mainly TM48, which is gonna be useful for a future member, and won easily against Erika. At Saffron, the Fighting Dojo was very kind to give me Hitmonlee, and he's joining the team. Team Rocket filler stuff. Seriously, why is Sabrina's team at level 50, by the way? Nevermind, I slashed the hell out of her. Went back to Silph Co. and some random person gifted me Lapras. Fuschia is next, and Koga's bugs were no match for Miles. I originally wanted to do Yellow Monocolor, but changed my mind after realizing I would have to use pretty much same Pokémon I've used in previous challenges (Not just in BINGO). So I've swapped to the Brown one. This was also first time I've used Abra line in-game. And now I understand everyone that said it's OP. It's probably more OP in RB... Pidgeot is also something I haven't use in a while. Last time was probably when I was little. It was solid back then and it was solid member now too. Primeape - I've used one recently, so I've used him pretty much to get through Brock and the caves. I've also used it on as Ground-Type attack user until I got Marowak. Dig was handy few times. Which brings me to Marowak. Don't remember using one before outside 'lockes. There wasn't much for it to do when I got it so it was pretty underused. Kabutops - 3rd best member of the run. Even when it was obtained pretty late I spent time to train it and even derleveled it was able to solo Blaine. I really enjoyed imagine it slashing the opponents. Kangaskhan - Last member that I originally didn't even want. I caught it pretty much for the HMs and while I leveled it, it was used in about 3 battles againts the E4 Teamhttp://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/rby/pidgeot.png Brib, Pidgeot lvl 62 - Wing Attack - Sand-Attack - Quick Attack - Fly http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/rby/alakazam.png Sicho, Alakazam lvl 66 - Psychic - Skull Bash - Disable - Recover http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/rby/primeape.png Furra, Primeape lvl 66 - Low Kick - Focus Energy - Dig - Thrash http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/rby/kangaskhan.png Duoh, Kangaskhan lvl 58 - Mega Punch - Surf - Toxic - Strength http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/rby/marowak.png Ma, Marowak lvl 59 - Earthquake - Growl - Focus Energy - Thrash http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/rby/kabutops.png Lord, Kabutops lvl 66 - Surf - Harden - Blizzard - Slash |

Oh and one more thing. Yellow is harder than Red/Blue when it comes to Gym Leaders/Elite Four. Pokemon are much higher in level and come with different/improved movesets. Granted they nerfed Brock by dropping his Pokemon 2 levels and removing Defense Curl from Geodude. Bind does suck though(as does Wrap and Fire Spin). |
Okay here is my next update for my White 2 Champion Challenge. I have just defeated Marlon, now about to work on the Team Plasma story arch and I have all of my team fully evolved now. I decided when I got to Undella Town to head straight to Village Bridge to get myself a Lapras before taking on the trainers in the area.

Only played this (or any other Gen5 games) once and wasn't too fond of it, but opinions can change. Did some research on the optional Pokemon and where to catch them, and came up with an interesting team. Nicknames are French. It hasn't been an easy run so far at all, but it's a challenge for a reason and quite interesting. I'm four badges in, but just lost against Gymleader Clay and taking a break now. https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/venusaur.png SUON PLAYS BINGO https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/feraligatr.png A BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS CHALLENGE ON BLACK BINGO! challenges completed: 4/20 UPDATE #2 Time for a new update. I beat the E4, N and Ghetis. The E4 wasn't too hard, but N and Ghetis required a lot of strategy and healing items from my side. Of course, not a big surprise. The teammembers I chose aren't the strongest statwise. Also, I decided on purpose to get only single type Pokemon, which limited my coverage and STAB moves. Our levels really needed to be on par or higher to stand a change. The last (and only) time I played this generation, I stopped here. But, since this isn't finished untill I beat Alder, it's gonna be a blind run from now on. So before I went to bed (this was yesterday night...), I challenged the E4 again for some training (since the trainers in the new routes appear to be L60+), but they are L70+! I guess I'm not done yet :D My team https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/black-white/normal/watchog.png SURICATE (m) @lvl 50 Impish nature, quick tempered. Ability: Illuminate. Holding Smoke Ball. - Return - Baton Pass - Work Up - Hypnosis Due to his type and stats, he was seriously falling behind. By giving him Baton Pass (something I've never used before), he became important again. He started every major battle, many times successfully passing Work Up. https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/black-white/normal/liepard.png CHAT (m) @lvl 52 Lax nature, good perseverance. Ability: Limber. Holding Scope Lens - Night Slash - Slash - Shadow Claw - Hone Claws Like SURICATE, CHAT was also falling behind a bit, but got important again when he learnt Night Slash. My Ace against Caitlin and Chauntal. Can't take a punch though. https://media-cerulean.cursecdn.com/avatars/thumbnails/320/370/215/199/563.png OMBRE (m) @lvl 53 Docile nature, highly persistent. Ability: Mummy. Holding Spell Tag. - Shadow Ball - Rest - Will-o'-wisp - Curse Quite important all the way through. A good staller, and could finish where others couldn't. Never used Rest since I can use healing items, but I still have to find a suitable replacement. https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/black-white/normal/gothitelle.png SORCIÊRE (f) @lvl 51 Calm nature, scatterers things often. Ability: Frisk. Holding Lucky Egg. - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Fake Tears - Future Sight Compared to Psychic types from previous generations, she is quite weak. I never do EV training, but maybe I should have. https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/black-white/normal/eelektross.png ANGUILLE (m) @lvl 53 Bashful nature, strongly defiant. Ability: Levitate. No hold item. - Acrobatics - Crunch - Brick Break - Thunderbolt The MVP. My sweeper. Holding Nevermeltice. - Ice Beam - Light Screen - Reflect - Aurora Beam It's low defense is a serious pain. Thankfully, it's reasonable Special Attack and Speed, combined with a high Special Defense, make that it can do some good damage or set up some extra defenses before fainting... all... the... time! https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/venusaur.png SUON PLAYS BINGO https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/feraligatr.png A BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS CHALLENGE ON BLACK BINGO! challenges completed: 5/20 UPDATE #3 - FINALE So I finally finished this challenge, and, to my surprise, I quite enjoyed it. I've always been an offensive player, but here I needed more status moves and patience. In the post-game, I discovered all the new areas, battled all the new trainers, found 6 sages and got some useful TM's and challenged Cynthia a few times (kept losing untill, well, I won...). In the end, I challenged the E4 when I thought I was strong enough. Shauntal I started with SURICATE, trying to do the same strategy as I used against Cynthia. A few Double Teams, Sword Dances and then Baton Pass to CHAT. Didn't work, CHAT fainted to a crit hit Energy Ball. OMBRE then managed a few Calm Minds and crushed all six ghosts. Caitlin I wanted the Baton Pass technique to work, so I tried it again. This time, it was easy. CHAT slashed his way through all of Caitlin's psychics. Marshal OMBRE and SORCIÊRE didn't struggle here. GRIMSLEY Here I used my leftover team members. FLOCON was actually a bit useful here, by beating Krookodile and Drapion. ANGUILLE finished the others. Alder I can write a whole book about this fight, if more happened. But in fact, I only used OMBRE (who had taken over ANGUILLE's MVP status)... Against Accelgor he could set up 6 Calm Minds. The others, including Bouffalant and Volcarona, were no match. So, top row of my card is done! But the challenge continues... This game I'll play on Yellow version and the nicknames will be Dutch. My teammembers need to have Speed as their highest base stat, so first of course, some research. I can choose from the following Pokemon: Spoiler:
Now, not all of these are available in-game, some are legendary and I've used some in recent runs. I'm not sure yet what I'm gonna do, but maybe I'll train more for a change and mix them around a bit. Also, I add some extra rules to my run: --> game is to be played on SET mode <-- --> major battles have to be fought with the same amount of Pokemon as the opponent uses <-- --> when possible, every Pokemon needs to have at least one status move <-- --> no HM Slaves unless absolutely necessary <-- I got Pikachu as a starter and named it MUIS (mouse). On route 22 I caught a Spearow and named it VEER (feather). I trained them both up to level 13 and challenged Brock. Although my hits aren't very effective, I did win after the first try. I made it through Mt. Moon, fought all the trainers North of Cerulean, including Blue, and got the S.S. Ticket. I got a Charmander for free, but box it now until I've decided if I'm gonna use him. I can't nickname it yet. VEER evolves in a Fearow. Now, MUIS and VEER are at level 23, and Misty is no match for us. On route 6 I catch a Pidgeot who I name VLEUGEL (wing). For now, I box it as well. In Diglett Cave I catch a Diglett (yes, I did) and named it MOL (mole). I train him against the trainers on S.S. ANN, deposit all my other Pokemon at the PC, and challenge Lt. Surge with MOL, now being a Dugtrio at level 26. One Dig is enough for my third badge. I already got used to soloing Falkner with starter in Johto and after quick battle, Chew evolved. I had to solo Bugsy too, which was also pretty easy with Ice Fang. So the boring part is behind me and I can finally start making my team. I got Headbutt and started headbutting trees in Azalea Town, until... Spoiler:
So I knocked her out and found Aipom on the next encounter. That's purple on the team. I then returned to Slowpoke Well and caught Slowpoke - pink Pokémon. This one appeared only few minutes after the Spearow, when I was training Dawn and Lima to more acceptable levels. Anyway, I got to Goldenrod City and after more training on routes around it, I challenged Whitney. My strategy was to use Dawn and Lima to negate her Attract. But they couldn't do enough damage to her before fainting. In her last moments, Dawn used Sand-Attack to lower Miltank's accuracy. Chew then fell to the Attract so the whole battle was about luck. And based on 2 shinies in 1 hour, you can guess I won. I then went to Ecruteak City and lost to Silver in Burned Tower. That's new. On the 2nd try I had better luck. After the battle, I decided to check here to see the order of colors. I though Yellow is next, while the Red was. Do you realize what that means? I COULD GET SLUGMA THIS WHOLE TIME! So I returned to Violet City, talked to Primo and chose Slugma Egg. Now it's time to face Morty. It will be easy with Lima and Chew... And then I lost. I couldn't damage his Gengar enough and wouldn't survive his Shadow Ball. So I grinded Chew to level 30, evolved it and got Crunch. And even then I had hard time beating his ghostly combination. When I got to Olivine City, Slugma hatched from the egg. A summary of what happened: - Went blind through Rock Tunnel, skipped Lavender and went directly to Celadon. - Got a Vulpix (VOS (fox) and trained it north of Cerulean. - Challenged Erica with VOS, VEER and MOL @~lvl 28, but only needed VOS. - Beat Team Rocket, Got the Silph Scope and the Pokeflute. - Het the Super Rod and catch a lvl5 Staryu, named STERRETJE (little star). Evolve it to Starmie with a Waterstone and train it. - It takes me about an hour, but I manage to catch a Tauros in Safari Zone. Named it STIER (bull). - Challenged Koga with STIER, VEER, VOS and STERRETJE around lvl 34, easy peasy. - Surfed to Cinnabar and resurrected Aerodactyl. Named it KOLIBRI (hummingbird). Didn't challenge Blaine yet. - VOS evolved into Ninetales after learning Flamethrower. - Beat Team Rocket again in Saffron. - Challenge Sabrina with STIER, MOL and KOLIBRI around lvl37, but only need STIER. - Challenge Blaine with KOLIBRI, STERRETJE and MOL around lvl38, no problems either. - Challenge Giovanni with KOLIBRI, STERRETJE, MOL, VOS and STIER, all around lvl39, maybe the easiest of all. My ace for this fight was Slowpoke. But it still took my several Revives I got from Dawn's Pickup to beat Chuck's Poliwrath. I probably run out of luck, because Hypnosis was able to land about 7 times out of 9 tries. After the victory, I got the medicine for Jasmine and return to Olivine City to deliver it to her. I got call from the Baoba about Safari Zone. I can finally get Yellow member - Electabuzz. But apparently Electubuzz is a little harder to get. I really didn't want to wait 3 hours to get it (but I completed 1st side-quest and caught Geodude), so I returned to Goldenrod City and picked up Eevee. I was kinda lucky and got Thunderstone from the Lass Dana on Route 38. I then decided to continue the story and got to Mahogany. I cleared the Rocket arc in Mahogany and prepared myself to face Pryce. First time my plan of using Spark and Flimey to battle was somehow successful. I got Glacier Badge and cleared second part of Rocket arc in Goldenrod City. I got to Blackthorn City and beat Clair. Probably easiest gym battle so far. Chew was able to take down all of her Pokémon except the Kingdra, which fell to combination of Lima's Yawn and Chew's attacks. I returned to New Bark Town and completed Kimono Girls side-quest in Ecruteak City. Now, it has been 3 hours since the Safari Zone 1st side-quest and I decided to catch last member of my team - Green Larvitar. And with that, I decided to save before departing to Indigo Plateau. I then used Dawn and was able to beat Hitmonchan, but lost to Hitmonlee. I finished the fight with Chew and his Waterfall. Last member of E4 was Karen. And oh god, that was battle. Her Umbreon took down Flimey, Dawn, Spark and Silvester and because Lima wouldn't be effective, I decided to once again go with Chew. After long battle, her Umbreon finally lost, but she still had 5 Pokémon, but Chew had advantage against all of them. Ice Fang against Vileplume and Murkrow, Crunch against Gengar and Surf against Houndoom. After this difficult battle, Lance was piece of cake. Spark took care of his Gyarados and Chew chewed rest of his team to pieces - and survived 2 Hyper Beams and Dragon Rush from his Dragonites. Pokémon Bingo Champion Challenge - Volt White #2 - Final A lot of training and important battles later... The run is finally done! The Brycen and Drayden battles were all good, not requiring much training... but the E4 was a bit of a challenge. First of all, they are all double battles, so I had to do strategies if I wanted an easy time. But I'm not good at strategies, so you can guess how it went. Grimsley and Caitlin both gave me a hard time, and Shauntaul was pretty close too. Though I literally swept Marshal with only two Pokémon... Second round was wayy harder. All members had level 90+ pokémon so I grinded a lot. Shauntal and her Sableye gave me a lot of trouble, but I got around it (I had to switch to Shift Mode though :p). And now, the final boss... Alder, the Champion of Unova... Get ready, the last challenge is coming. With a Level 100 Volcarona, he is the toughest trainer in the whole region... Spoiler:

I had hard time with Erika, because Flimey dies to everything, including Solar Beam and Leaf Storm, so I used Dawn and Chew. Chew, Dawn and Silvester became best members of the run. Silvester takes the Iron Tail and lives with about 1/4 HP and OHKO Pikachu. Red sent out Blastoise now and I switch to Spark. I wish for Thunder to land and it did! And that's quick end of Blastoise. Snorlax is next. I return Silvester to his Pokéball, but Sandstorm from his ability is still raging. I sent out Chew. With his newly learned Superpower, Chew takes away half of the Snorlax's HP, while loosing his own half to Crunch. I took a chance and used Superpower one more time... And Snorlax survived and took Chew down with Shadow Ball. But then Sandstorm hit Snorlax and it faints. I sent out Dawn and Red sents out Venusaur. Dawn's Strength does almost nothing and Dawn is put asleep by Venusaur's Sleep Powder. I switch out to Flimey and he's put asleep quickly. After 3 Giga drains, Flimey is down. I sent out Dawn again and start healing my Pokémon. Venusaur shots her down with 2 Sludge Bombs, but Chew and Flimey have full HP now. Flimey's turn once again. Venusaur is now also fully healed. I decided to use a little bit of strategy this time. Yawn and Flamethrower until Venusaur is healed again and then he's burned! Both Sandstorm and burn damage help a lot! Red sents out Lapras and I sent out Spark again. Thunder lands again, cutting Lapras HP to 1/3 and paralyze it. He can't move this very turn. Red heals him and another Thunder lands, this time without paralyzation. And 4th Thunder in row! Lapras' down. Charizard VS Lima. After having toubles with Venusaur, I went straight to the Yawn. Lima survives Air Slash. 2 Surfs put it low on HP. I predicted Red using Full Restore and used Yawn, putting Charizard back to sleep. And with 2 Surfs, the battle is over! And with that, I can cross another challenge of the Bingo. I really enjoyed this one. I had problem with choosing my team, but in the end I had pretty balanced team that was distributed over whole region. Even with 2 Water-Types, I used Lima mostly for her psychic powers. I'm not sure which challenge to do now, but I'll probably do something from Sinnoh column... Probably In-Order one. Or Signature Move with Yawn or Counter/Mirror Coat. Thanks! I don't really have a problem with the many "What's your sign" & "In-order" challenges.
One question though: I notice the various monotype, monocolour, monoletter, signature move & highest stat challenges don't have any type/colour/letter/move/stat specified. Am I free to decide those for myself or do I ask for someone to roll them? (If free to decide for myself I'll probably roll them anyway through some random number generator shenanigans) |

Today's recipe:
PRIMAL MAGNETIC LEEK SOUP, SEASONED WITH VILEPLUME PETALS (May contain traces of Lickitung saliva). Fristibingo #1 Culinary Challenge, Kanto Ingredients: -Pokemon Fire Red -Soup Water, Blastoise (boiling) -PrimalChef, Primeape (cooking) -SpicePetal, Vileplume (herbs/spices) -Magnetizer, Magneton (kitchen appliance) -FoodLicker, Lickitung (taste tester) (at least, he would’ve been called ‘FoodLicker’ if I wasn’t stuck with that stupid ‘Marc’ name :( ) -LeekFarmer, Farfetch’d (ingredient) (at least, he would’ve been called ‘LeekFarmer’ if I wasn’t stuck with that stupid ‘Ch’ding’ name :( ) Directions: -Turn on your furnace. Also turn on the game. -Take a fresh Squirtle as your starter. Train it to learn Water Gun, meanwhile fetch a pot. -Have Squirtle use Water Gun on the pot until the pot is mostly filled with water. Put on furnace (the pot, not Squirtle, we’ll cover how to make turtle soup some other time). -While waiting for the water to heat, prepare other ingredients: -Catch a Mankey, have it practice its primal cooking skills on rats near Viridian City, bugs in Viridian Forest, rocks at the Pewter City gym, and bats in Mt Moon. -Your Squirtle should temporarily develop a darker blue colour and puffy tail at around this time, this is normal and not indicative of being spoilt. -Catch an Oddish. Properly nourish it with water at the Cerulean city gym. -Catch a Spearow, trade it for a Farfetch’d at Vermilion city. -Prepare your leek by having Farfetch’d beat some cats and snakes over the head with it. Your Oddish should start to turn a bit dark by now, meaning it’s headed on the right track. -Prepare the leek further by having Farfetch’d beat it over the heads of a crew of sailors and cutting trees with it. Have Mankey beat up some magnets at the 3rd gym to teach him the skills necessary to work with his yet-to-be-acquired kitchen appliance. -Put Mankey in a cool & dark place, preferably a rock tunnel, for about 30 minutes to stimulate muscle growth and increase amount of primal-ness. -Your Farfetch’d may be getting a little hard-headed at this point. Remedy this by beating the 4th gym. -Take Wartortle to a spooky place to spook that dark blue colour off of him. He may develop cannons, this is normal. -Beat the 5th and 6th gyms, water should be close to boiling now. -Mix Gloom with a leaf stone to further enhance the aroma of its petals -Go get a kitchen appliance at the power plant -Bribe a Lickitung with a dish of Peking Duck, caught in the Seafoam Islands, to get him to start working for you as well -Beat 7th and 8th gym -Take your Farfetch’d’s leek and pick some of your Vileplume’s petals, have Primeape magnetize them using Magneton, throw them in your pot of boiling water and let boil for a half hour, beat the elite 4 in the meantime. -Finally, let Lickitung taste-test it. Get inducted into the hall of fame. Challenge complete! |
Highest Stat SPEED in Pokémon Heart Goldhttps://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/dpp/raikou.png CHAPTER 1After making some research and finding all the Pokémon fit for this challenge, I had my team. https://jpeg.cz/images/2018/07/07/team.png I know what you're thinking. Raikou? Really? But yeah, really. I want to use as many Pokémon as I can and out of all Electric-Type Pokémon fit for this challenge, Raikou is the only one I haven't used yet. And I want to use Electric-Type. So I started new game, got Totodile as my starter and quickly replace him with Zubat - Eobard. Yeah, my name theme this time will be The Flash characters. Both from comics and the CW TV show. I trained to level 13 and challenged Falkner. And Eobard dies to 2 hits from Falkner's Pidgeotto. It took me 5 tries to get lucky enough to land confusion and let Pidgeotto hit itself. I then cleared story up to the next Gym, forgot to save and left the game. So I cleared it again, this time even with battling Bugsy. I had to use same combo on his Scyther and ended the battle with 6 HP! I cleared Ilex Forest quest and Eobard evolved few steps away from Goldenrod City. https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/venusaur.png SUON PLAYS BINGO https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/emerald/normal/feraligatr.png A DUO-SPECIES CHALLENGE ON GOLD BINGO! challenges completed: 6/20 UPDATE #1 Time for a new chapter in the BINGO! Challenge. I'll be playing the Duo-Species challenge on Pokémon Gold Version. To determine my two team members, I used the RNG (1-251) and compared it with the gen2 Pokedex. I rolled 94 (Forretress) and 79 (Seaking), and so the challenge started... Nicknames shall be Sinhalese. I went through all the shenanigans with Professor Elm (chose a Totodile for HM purposes), Mr. Pokemon and Rival Silver, and after I received my Pokéballs, I used a cheat code to catch MALU the Goldeen (malu is Sinhalese for fish). I solo through the first 2 gyms, teach Headbutt to Totodile and catch SELAYA the Pineco (selaya is Sinhalese for shell). Around the Mahogany Team Rocket base, MALU evolves in a Seaking and SELAYA in a Forretress (I went east first after Ecruteak). With 2 Pokémon you're always a bit overleveled, but with these 2 Pokémon, all Gym matches were interesting fights, especially the one with Claire. I reach the Indigo Plateau and with both Pokémon at level 50, I challenge the E4. Will is an easy target for SELAYA. I use an X Accuracy and start Rollout. His Pokémon can't do me much harm. Against Koga I use the exact same technique, and although his Forretress Protects itself from my Rollout, it's not strong enough to block my other attacks. Bruno is easy for MALU. I use 2 X Attacks when his Hitmontop uses Dig and Peck away at his fighters. Onix, of course, stands no change either. Now, the battle with Karen is by far the hardest. In fact, I blacked out and had to start all over again twice. The first time was my fault. I thought the 5th Rollout would OHKO Houndoom with ease, but his Flamethrower was faster and MALU couldn't beat Houndoom, Gengar, Vileplume and Murkrow all alone. The second time it was Gengar's Destiny Bond that ruined it. Thankfully, on the third try I am victorious. Surprisingly, Lance is very easy and gets soloed by MALU. I'm off to Kanto now. My team: https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/gold/normal/seaking.png MALU level 55 | ? | Nevermeltice Surf, Horn Attack, Icy Wind, Peck https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/gold/normal/forretress.png SELAYA level 55 | ? | Quick Claw Heatbutt, Rollout, Attract, Rock Smash My BINGO! sheet: Spoiler:

Highest Stat SPEED in Pokémon Heart Goldhttps://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/dpp/raikou.png CHAPTER 2I triggered roaming Pokémon event in Ecruteak City and set to the journey to catch Raikou. It's almost 15 levels stronger that my Pokémon, but after few hours and lot of restarts, I was able to catch it. I was also encountering Entei all the time like it wanted me to catch it. So now I have level 40 Raikou. I decided to bench it for now and only use it if Eobard and Patty are down. Right when I stepped inside the Gym, Eobard evolved. Morty was easy thanks to Eaobard's Bite and Patty's Confusion and Psybeam. I got to Olivine City, cleared the Lighthouse and surfed to the Cianwood. Chuck was another of Poison/Confusion spam battle but in the end, I won. Without using Raikou up to this point. I got back to Olivine City and unlocked Safari Zone. This is where rest of my team is. Highest Stat SPEED in Pokémon Heart Goldhttps://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/dpp/raikou.png CHAPTER 3Well, now I have to challenge Jasmine and it went as badly as I expected. I had nothing against her Steel-Types. I've used Patty, Iris and Linda. I started with Patty and had close run with one of her Magnemite and Jasmine even had to switch to her Steelix and beat Patty. I then used Iris with her Water-Type advantage and easily beat her Steelix. Rest of the battle was Linda versus both Magnemites. I win even with non-effectice Psybeams. Not very spectacular, not interesting (not the biggest fan of the Gen2 post-game, but hey, it's part of the challenge). I quickly beat all the gyms in Kanto, grinded for a few levels in Mt. Silver, and challenged Red. MALU took care of his Charizard, but the real MVP was SELAYA. Her Attract/X Accuracy/Rollout-combo is so deadly! Of course, I needed a few potions because his Pokémon were always faster, but they never did more than 50% damage. Highest Stat SPEED in Pokémon Heart Goldhttps://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/dpp/raikou.png CHAPTER 4I completed Team Rocket side-quest by beating every single one of them and spent most of the time farming coins. Exactly 30 000 coins. It was fun. Watched another few hours of Detroit: Become Human during the farm. It's quite interesting game, but I have small fetish for adventures/interactive films. The streamer (or rather 2 moths old stream from him) I was watching made pretty much same decision as I would have done. Games like this really make me wish to know someone with PS4. And... WTF, THEY KILLED MARCUS!!! Okay, back to my game. I'm at Clair now and with my newly evolved Starmie that now even knows Ice Beam and Thunderbolt, it's pretty easy battle. So I made my way back to New Bark only to find that Marcus survived. So he destroyed his chip and now looks like normal human. And while I'm masterballing Ho-Oh, Connor was after Kara and Alice. That's so cool! I don't know who to cheer for. I like them all. And they're gone... Okay, so it's time to catch last member of my team - Jesse. And here goes the grind. And I have bad feeling about Zlatko. I mean even his name is evil (it literally means gold, but it's evil). It's time for E4 now! AND I CALLED IT! And the streamer failed so Kara now doesn't have any memories. But I should probably focus on the E4... Will. I had Patty and Barry to take care of him. Koga. Okay, this one was a little bit harder. I used Jesse then I could and beat rest with other members. Bruno. Another not that easy fight. Eobard was able to beat Hitmontop, but then I switched to Iris to beat Onix and back to Eobard, only for him to faint to Rock Slide. I still had Patty and Linda to beat him and Linda was able to take down rest of his team. Karen? Patty and Linda were stars once again. And finally, Lance! Kara and Alice were able to run. Good. I mean I had pretty hard time with Lance, because of only Iris and Barry were only members that had advantage. I had to heal them a lot. But in the end, I was able to beat Lance and find Jericho become the champion. Highest Stat SPEED in Pokémon Heart Goldhttps://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/dpp/raikou.png CHAPTER 6His Pikachu was probably the biggest problem. He took out 4 of my Pokémon until Barry Hyper Beamed him. It also took a lot of Revives to beat his Charizard, Snorlax, Blastoise and Venusaur, but Barry really was MVP of this run - tanking so I can heal others and then dealing most of the finishing blows. But Red's Lapras was something else. I run out of Revives so combined force of Iris, Eobard, Patty and Linda had to take care of it. I had to Paralyze it and put him under the confusion to even be able survive his 100 % accuracy Blizzards. And so, I completed this challenge. Which means I have cleared all the Johto ones. I don't know which one to do now. I would like to complete whole Bingo before September so I can say I finished it in less that a year. Well, we'll see... The Culinary Challenge - Pokémon Sun Part 1 After a long while of abscence I am back with this challenge in Alola! Actually, I started it like a month ago... but better late than never! After a lot of dialogue and expressions, I finally chose my starter: Litten. Called him Leite. We went through route 1 until I caught another member for the squad: A Pichu named Caramelo! These two went through a lot together, having to deveat Illima on their own. We lost the first battle, but with determination and training, won the second one! It's time for the trial, and Leite and Caramelo should handle the totem pretty well... And they did! 1st trial completed! In the recent-opened route 3, I had a chance to get a Cottonee, and Doce joined us. At Seaward Cave a Diglett named Ava also joined. We traveled Route 3 and, as we got back to Iki Town, the Grand Trial and the Island Kahuna were waiting for us. Doce's Fairy-type moves were crutial for this battle, and we completed Melemele's Grand Trial. Akala Island is next, but first, with the newly acquired Tauros ride from Hala, I decided to go and catch one more Pokémon in Route 1: Chef, the Munchlax. I trained up my team in Akala's first Routes, and surprise! Pichu evolved! She's now a beautiful Pikachu! I decided to take a rest in Route 5 after a long walk, but we shall return... Actually, I finished it already.... I did the In-Order Challenge, on Ruby. Nicknames are in Hungarian. First I had to decide what my team was gonna be. There's many possibilities here, but I decided to go for the easy option and choose four Pokémon that are obtainable before the first gym. I choose Treecko for a starter, no reason at all (rival May is never really a challenge in this game, no matter what starter I pick). As soon as I could, I catch my teammates: Makk the Seedot (makk is Hungarian for acorn) Madar the Taillow (madar is Hungarian for bird) Siraly the Wingull (siraly is Hungarian for seagull) Elme the Ralts(elme is Hungarian for mind) I rush through the game, until I bump into Watson's gym, and blackout. I decide to grind everyone up to level 25 on route 117, and while doing so, run into an unsuspected 5th teammate: Pillango the Surskit (pillango is Hungarian for butterfly) I thought they only appear when there's a swarm or something, so I was pretty surprised to find just the one and decided to catch and use it too. I kept on rushing through the game, and when I finally beat Wally and reach the Pokémon League, all my mates are only around level 40. So, I spent hours and hours in Meteor Falls and Victory Road to train, which took probably longer than actually going through the story... After two tries (I lost the first match against Steven's Metagross) I finished the challenge! My team: https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/ruby-sapphire/normal/shiftry.png Makk #024 | level 50 | Female | Mild | Chlorophyll Faint Attack, Sunny Day, Solarbeam, Brick Break https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/ruby-sapphire/normal/swellow.png Madar #026 | level 52 | Female | Sassy| Guts Fly, Return, Steel Wing, Double Team https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/ruby-sapphire/normal/pelipper.png Siraly #028 | level 50 | Female | Jolly | Keen Eye Wing Attack, Surf, Toxic, Protect https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/ruby-sapphire/normal/gardevoir.png Elme #031 | level 54 | Female | Gentle| Trace Psychic, Thunderbolt, Calm Mind, Hypnosis https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/ruby-sapphire/normal/masquerain.png Pillango #033 | level 51 | Male | Quiet | Intimate Icebeam, Silver Wind, Giga Drain, Stun Spore My BINGO! sheet: Spoiler:

Well, it's been a while since I completed challenge for the Bingo, but here we go.
I decided to do shorter one and well... completed it in one day. There really isn't much to say about this one. Gulpin line is bulky, but to save time, I used offensive moveset with Toxic as last resort. And I had to use defensive strategy in the 1st Gym. I was worried about Tate and Liza, but I picked Shadow Ball and was able to tank Psychic-Type moves until they both fall down. Last obstacle was Steel Champion himself - Steven. Having disadvantage against almost all of his Pokémon, I had to tweak my moveset and add Water Pulse. Battle against Metagross was long and full of healing. It ended with Metagross using Struggle until it killed itself. And so, here are some screenshots with beaten Gym Leader: Spoiler:

I decided to move back to Unova for another challenge. I planned my team about a week ago and it was little bit different that the one I used in the end. I wanted to have at least one team meber before the 2nd Gym, so I had Azumarill on my team. Then I realized that I can get Elekid before the 2nd Gym, so I swapped Azumarill for Wailord and put Elekid on team.
Everything worked well up to the 5th Gym. I had no way of dealing with Ground-Types and I couldn't even damage Ground/Steel-Types. So I made some changes to the team - I evolved my Eevee to Flareon instead of Leafeon and put Lilligant on team. Now I was able to beat any mole sent at me. After the 5th Gym, I caught 2 last team members and trained them. One question for the In-Order challenge, does it have to follow the National Dex or the Regional Dex? Or can i choose it? And could someone do me a favor and add a type/letter/Color/move/ or even my whole random team for the scramble to the challenges i got? Or should i randomise that myself? I am not really a fan of choosing in this Kind of challenges and the random factor excites me Edit: Hit the Gym Challenge in Alola? More like Hit the Kahuna/Totem Challenge? Or is it a reroll? |
I started this Bingo Challenge in Hoenn with the Duo-Species Challenge. I let a random pokemon generator give me my pokemon for this challenge and ended up with Ludicolo and Torkoal.
Spoiler:
The next challenge I did was the Alola Wondertrade challenge. I expected to end up with a team that wasn't the greatest, but, luckily, I was wrong. All in all, this challenge wasn't too difficult. I ended up overleveled for a lot of it due to all of my team being traded. Spoiler:

Oh god, it has been more that a month since my last update. Also it has been already whole year since I started this challenge. If I keep this pace, I'll complete my Bingo in 2025!
Anyway, I completed my Culinary Challenge today. It went pretty well, but the lack of the Water or Ice-Type really showed. The end of the game is full of Dragon-Types, but it was a lot of easier to deal with that that I thought. I decided to grind up to level 60 to be sure to beat Iris and I still had to use few Revives during the fight with her. And here's the Hall of Fame: Spoiler:

The Culinary Challenge - Pokémon Sun Part 2 I made a huge progress since last time I played, I'm now at Route 15 after just beating Acerola's trial, and I'm quite enjoying the journey so far! Anyways, last time I was about to challenge Lana and her trial, and that wasn't a problem at all for Caramelo. She defeated the Totem Wishiwashi in a heartbeat. After that, I was told to go to a place called Royal Avenue for God knows what and found some pretty familiar masked man there... Crasher Wake! Well, not really... But I wish it was. We battled alongside Hau and Gladion in a weird system I don't really understand until this day. Well, no more hindering for me. Went straight to the creepy volcano to challenge yet another trial. After watching some interesting dancing moves with Marowaks and a strange man, a Salazzle appeared out of nowhere and we had a battle. I lead with Ava and got ohkoed so I switched to Chef. Fortunately, his ability is Thick Fat, so the battle was smooth from this point onwards. With another trial cleared, I continued my path to complete the Water/Fire/Grass streak. Beat all the trainers in Route 8 and finally reached Lush Jungle. Mallow forced me to prepare some nasty things and a Pokémon was attracted by its scent. Totem Lurantis was a bit of a pain because of the Synthesis/Sunny Day/Solar Blade combination. I used Leite because of the obvious advantage, but it still gave me a lot of trouble. I went prepared with a stack of super potions though, so after a lot of stalling, I managed to defeat it. Now it's time to challenge the Kahuna! We rushed through Diglett's Tunnel and reached the next city. Olivia wasn't there, so I went to the ruins where she said she'd be. We had a battle and Chef Brick Break'd her Pokémon to death. Akala's Grand Trial complete! And Ava also evolved into Dugtrio! I had a tour with Hau in Aether Paradise and battled AmpFibian there. But after that, we got a boat to Ula'ula Island, where the next trials would take place. We found a pretty interesting garden in Malie City. I trained my pokémon a little bit and headed to Mount Hokulani. Sophocles was the host of the trial in the Observatory, and Totem Vikavolt was my challenge. Chef had already evolved to Snorlax at this point, and a few rock tombs took the beetle out. Yet another trial complete. The path to the last trial in Ula'ula was big, so several things happened as we progressed in Route 12. Leite and Caramelo evolved to their final forms - Incineroar and Raichu, respectively - and I found the Sun Stone, which I used in Doce. She became a beautiful Whimsicott! I found TM30 Shadow Ball while going to Acerola's trial, and taught it to Doce. Would help a lot in the next challenge. Took some photos of Gastly/Haunter/Gengar in the scary supermarket and a strange creature named Mimikyu ambushed us. Whimsicott threw loads of Shadow Balls into it, but it still managed to beat her. Chef was the salvation though, with his immunity to ghost-types. A few rock tombs were enough to defeat the thing. I'll progress more through the game later. But for now, this is all I have to offer. The Culinary Challenge - Pokémon Sun Part 3 - Final Phew, finished my challenge after months of lingering! It was fun, though. Also this was the first time I used a team of 5 instead of 6 I think. :P Anyways, I was about to reach Route 15 after Acerola's trial, and my mission then was to rescue a Yungoos from Team Skull (For some reason they stole it), and I did, fair enough. The Ula'ula Island's Kahuna, Nanu, challenged me to a battle and I won of course. Pretty easy. Enter Aether Foundation arc Battles. Plot twists. Betrayals. Exit Aether Foundation arc Once we reached Poni Island, Hapu, the Island Kahuna, battled with me. She was pretty tough from what I remember, but I managed to win anyways. The Grand Trial was complete! (Even though I hadn't taken on the island totem yet :P). Inside the Vast Poni Canyon, Doce finally learned Moonblast! Yay! That was crucial for beating Totem Kommo-O. By far the easiest totem in this playthrough. Took only 2 Moonblasts - and one missclick - to defeat him! Lillie and I went to the Ultra Space to find Lusamine, which we did and she was going nuts. I defeated her hacked pokémon and everyone went back to Earth. With the Island Challenge complete, now it's time to actually challenge the league. I travelled to Tapu Village with Nanu and found Gladion on the platform that leaded to the league. We battled. He was really tough, to be honest. I had to use a max revive in his last pokémon, Weavile. Lucario almost swept my whole team. :P Once I reached the top, Hau also challenged me. He had 4 pokémon only, unlike in USUM, so no problems with that. The Elite 4 was a piece of cake. I remember having a bit of problem with Kahili, but that was a minor issue. The Champion, Kukui. We had a pretty solid battle. I lead with Ava and OHKO'ed his Lycanroc with Earthquake, but he was faster than me and threw some Stealth Rocks in my field. He switched to Snorlax and took out my Dugtrio with High Horsepower. I was still able to do some damage on him though. I sent out Chef, my own Snorlax, and used a lot of Brick Breaks. He fainted, and Braviary was now on the field. I used some Body Slams on him but he used Whirlwind, and Leite was sent out. After Braviary fainted from Darkest Lariat, Kukui threw Primarina out. No way I'd let Leite face this thing, so I switched to Doce. Primarina's Z-move managed to take a lot of health from her, and an Aqua Jet in the next turn was able to take her out. I sent out Caramelo, my Raichu, and used my own electric Z-move on Primarina. She survived in yellow health, but I used some Discharges and boom! Defeated. Kukui sent Ninetales. I Discharged it once but it survived with more than half hp - and paralyzed - so I had to use one Nasty Plot to defeat it in the next turn. Magnezone was easy because of the buff, and now I'm Alola's first ever champion! Woo! Looking forward to start another challenge in my sheet! :D CHAMPION TEAM https://pokemon-trainer.com/images/sprite/sunmoonani/727.gif Leite | Modest nature | Blaze Lv. 56 @ Firium Z - Flare Blitz - Acrobatics - Leech Life - Darkest Lariat https://orig00.deviantart.net/83d0/f/2016/362/8/3/alolan_raichu_by_alolan_sprites-dat6yxl.gif Caramelo | Naive nature | Surge Surfer Lv. 57 @ Electrium Z - Discharge - Psychic - Nasty Plot - Grass Knot https://pokemon-trainer.com/images/sprite/xyorasani/547.gif Doce | Hardy nature | Prankster Lv. 57 @ Miracle Seed - Giga Drain - Moonblast - Hurricane - Shadow Ball http://randompokemon.com/sprites/animated/51-alola.gif Ava | Bold nature | Tangling Hair Lv. 56 @ Steelium Z - Iron Head - Earthquake - Rock Tomb - Sucker Punch https://pokemon-trainer.com/images/sprite/xyorasani/143.gif Chef | Quirky nature | Thick Fat Lv. 55 @ Leftovers - Body Slam - Heavy Slam - Crunch - Brick Break Sheet: Spoiler:

But first, a question: are we allowed to take on multiple challenges in one run? I'd like mine to be 7x6. I will be playing Black 2, Platinum, Blue, Crystal, Alpha Sapphire, Y, and Moon. None of them will be ROMs, so please no challenges that (essentially) require those. |

Anyway, here are your Challenges: Unusual Sighting (Retrograde if you can't randomize) The Character Challenge The Mega Evolution Challenge |
Speaking of updating, I think I should start updating this run. I planned and started it back in August, beat 1st Gym with my starter, caught Scraggy and then stopped playing. Last week, I picked it up again and so far it was pretty great and challenging run.
I had to solo that whole huge part between 1st and 2nd Gym with Scraggy, so he was starting to get a little bit overleveled. It was time to catch next Pokémon - Houndour and Magikarp. Grant was quite easy, but mostly because of Scraggy. As I was approaching 3rd Gym, both Houndour and Magikarp evolved and to be honest, both were pretty weak. Houndoom had no Fire-Type move and Gyarados just weak Twister, Bite and Tackle. I had no way of efficiently beating Fighting-Types and was afraid of facing Korrina. And I got destroyed by random Hawlucha in Reflection Cave. Twice. Because it had Rock Slide. So I challenged Korrina and was prepared to grind for hours, but then... Her Hawlucha was weaker than that random one and I beat her with Gyarados and his Tackle. At this point, Houndoom learned Fire Fang, so next Gym was easy. Nothing interesting happened until Clemont. I was prepared for him. And yet, paralyzed Scrafty with 1 HP was all that was left of my team in the end. And finally, after about 4 hours since the last catch I was able to catch another Pokémon - Skorupi.
