:D

Xeno_Latios June 3rd, 2005 8:49 PM

it is average.could be better.but its ok. 7/10

Kijin June 4th, 2005 1:33 PM

What's your IV/EV input? That's probably more of an accurate tell-all about your Dragonite than just random numbers.
Also, attacks.

Chris17 June 4th, 2005 1:56 PM

Attacks:
Outrage
Hyper beam
Wing attack
Dragon rage(i will change it with fire blast)

Ev:
Attack:253
Sp.Attack:253
Hp:4

Transducer June 5th, 2005 4:21 PM

Nice Dragonite you have! The movesets are ok and the EV's are decent as well.

Rating: 7/10 (Same as Xeno Latios).

MetalMario June 5th, 2005 8:12 PM

The moveset's pretty bad. Hyper beam and Fire Blast? Return and Flamethrower are better choices for those types. Dragonite has access to Boltbeam, so you should use that. Dragonbreath/Flamethrower also gives type coverage, but less SE shots.

Gyardosamped June 5th, 2005 8:43 PM

It can be a little better its stats are low becuase a level 80 drangonite has preety good stats!
You might want to count on some protiens and some other vitamin thingys to help but your dragonites good in Attack(WAY GOOD)
Defence a lil low
Sp attack preey good
and other stats a lil low~

charizard_maa June 7th, 2005 8:41 AM

Moveset is pretty bad.

7 out of 10 for stats

2 out of 10 for moveset

Scap your set for this one

Tunderbolt
Dragon claw
Return
Hyper Beam/Mega Punch

T-bolt gets rid of the water which are mostly ice type too. Dragon claw is a good dragon attack. return and mega punch is puting the high attack power of dragonite to good use. This is not the best but the only one I can come up with at the time.

Careful! He'll bad rep you for offering your constructive criticism!

Chris17 June 7th, 2005 6:42 PM

Whatever. I will give reputation to whoever i want. You are just mad. If you don't want people to give you reputation points, disable the function.

WHen I think about it, Arial Ace will be better. It still a physcal attack and dragonite is also part flying so it be able to make it more powerful.

Fire attacks on a dragonite is not very good. He can learn them but fire attacks on a dragon belongs on a Salanmance. If you really want a frie dragon then get a Salanmance or Charizard (I know he is not a dragon). Those two are meant to use fire attacks and they have high attacks.

Sceptile_Master June 8th, 2005 9:27 AM

What HP does it have. IV wise it's very average. It's looking like this (IVs):

attack: 11
defense: 17
speed: 14
special attack: 17 -19
special defense: 10 - 11

Can't fully comment as I don't know how much HP it has. Never train an adamant dragonite in special attack. Not only is not suited much as a special sweeper anyways but the adamant nature drags it down. Speed should have replaced the special attack EV wise and it would be good to go. If you have emereld though you can be good to go if you use some ev lowering berries on special attack then train it in speed.

Moveset wise you should make it like this:

Dragon Dance
Thunderbolt
Earthquake
Aerial Ace

Make it hold leftovers. Thunderbolt is there to take down skarm and gyrados and stuff even with an adamant nature and no evs an average dragonite has like 200 attack or something at level 100 which will be enough to take the aformentioned down. If you could get it too how I just mentioned you will have a very powerful force on your side.

lmao, you asked for it to be rated

Alter Ego June 10th, 2005 6:19 AM

If you've treated your Dragonite well then return is definitely better than Hyper Beam. Return can reach a maximum power of 102 (correct me if I'm wrong) and doesn't give your opponent a free attack. It's got 4 times the PP too. Since your Dragonite is of Adamant Nature I'd suggest steering away from Special Attacks. A possible moveset would be:

Aerial Ace (A reliable attack that utilises Dragonite's 'Flying' type)
Brick Break (To counter the troublesome 'Ice' types and break down Reflect & Light Screen)
Return (If friendship is high enough it's a very effective move)
Dragon Dance (Boosts both the 'attack' and 'speed' stats making the three other moves more effective)

This moveset if probly the best one because it focus on your dragonite's attack power. I don't really like wasting time with power up moves like Dragon Dance but here that move would be great. You raise your speed so dragonite can be faster and then you can attack heavy, with Aerial Ace, Return, or Break Break, after a turn or two of Dargon Dance.

~Thunderbolt

For everyone else, including the topic starter, the conversation is pretty batpoop insane. If you want your team/pokemon rated and it sucks but you don't know any better, don't bash the people who say it's not good and offer you advice to help- chances are, they know more than you do and won't give you their help in the future when you need it. The raters- he's a n00b who thinks he's done the work of God in pokemon raising. I don't know how to ask you to 'be nicer' to him because I don't think it's possible to be nicer than how you guys treated his scrub self, but... be wary that if a guy throws a temper tantrum over your saying his team is bad, there are worse things in life than getting a bad ref on an internet message board. For example... throwing a temper tantrum on said message board.

Who are you? What's the reason to call me a n00b?I didn't even have conversation with you. Some people here are nice, but others like you are just rude.

I'm calling you a n00b because you're posting a pokemon here with sub-par almost everything and then bashing people who criticize you after you asked for criticism. I posted in this topic because I was trying to help you, but it turned into a snowball of arguing between you and some of the people rating you.
Saying I'm rude because I called BS on you when you were BSing doesn't really make sense- giving people negative refs for criticizing you when you asked for it is rude, I'm just pointing out that both sides of this arguement, you and the people getting pissed at you, need to chill out because you're getting steamed over something said on the internet.

Chris17 June 13th, 2005 2:52 PM

You need to chill.I didn't criticize you.So there is no reason for you coming here and call me a n00b.Ok.

Does that matter? How selfish do you expect people to be? The fact is, you were criticizing us raters for doing what you asked us to do. Just because you didn't point the finger at Kijin doesn't mean you're in the right, or that he can't say anything about it.

You asked us, everyone who is not you who wants to rate pokemon, to rate your pokemon. We did that. You got uppity because we didn't stroke your ego and lie to you saying it was awesome. I called you a n00b because you're acting like one. Stop acting childish and learn to take criticism... especially when you ask for it. Ok.
