How much does Youtube pay a small Channel??

What does a small gamer-guy get on YouTube? Let's say if your channel has around 5000 subscribers? How does this whole concept function?

What actually happens is advertisers to pay Google (owner of YT) to run ads on videos which makes both of them money, with some amount of that doled out to the video producer.

A general revenue range for a subscriber base of 5000 may be estimatable from publically known variables, but it will be a wide range and strictly speaking nobody knows. An owner of a channel with monetised videos is not legally an employee of Google and not afforded any according rights, such as to to know how much they are owed for their work. Google privately decides what to give out and apparently those sums bear little correlation with how many views videos get (ie. how many ads run).
