Registeel is the only Regi that you will never use for attacking and for a good reason- its attack stats are all abysmal. In addition, Registeel learns 2 support moves- Iron Defense and Amnesia. Throw SToss/Rest/Toxic in in some kind of order and you have a true winner of a pokemon. Ok, I've looked at its movepool and it has no moves. Like... none. Take Down should be Return, Ember should be... another physical move that isn't a normal type move. Quote:

I'm sorry if I've been harsh, but your team needs mountains of improvement. |
Well, these movesets may be horrible to you, but I still mop the floor with everyone in my home town. I have rarely lost at this; especially against my cousin (whose just as good as me.) Besides, you weren't being harsh. You were saying how you felt. And nothing really gets to me. Anything said cannot make me feel bad. By the by, even though registeel is weak in attack (accordingh to you) his attack in the game I have is...actually...his attack is pretty low...but it doen't matter! He still dishes out punishment!

While your team may cover the groundwork for your town, take the following as an analogy to pokemon (and probably everything else in your life):
You may be number one in your town, but compare that to the rest of the world. If you were to battle the #1 from the town over or the #1 in your state and so on and so forth, how would you do? Knowing your current pokemon and movepools, I can't imagine that you'd fare as well as against the people in your own town. That's why you post your teams here- you want your team to be better so when you battle someone other than your dog or 3 year-old cousin, eg: someone with skills, you don't get royally screwed. I happen to live in an area w/ pokemon obsessive compulsives- people who have entire boxes of max IV bred Blissey, Blaziken, Swampert, etc, who are aroused by the concept of a non-haxd Truant-less Slaking. In short, I have to know what I'm doing if I want to not get totally reemed by other people. So I pass my advice along to you in hopes that you keep in mind that the reason to post a team/moveset isn't to stroke your ego, but to learn how to improve yourself when you battle outside the walls of East Jabibb (or even when you realize there's someone better than you inside the Jabibbian walls). |
I know...........I try not to do this...that is, post things and such to boost my ego, but it ends up being so (like now...). And I'm, like, the only person around who's good. And compared to the rest of the world, I'm probably some newbie who'se in it for nothing. However, this doesn't stop me. These move sets work absolutely fine for me...and it may be possible that my other teams from my other games could redeem to what my leafgreen/sapphire teams lack...that is, not such a lamely built moveset...(and now at exactly 9:21 pm, I realize that I love to gloat and say I'm the best even though I don't like that way of acting around people anywhere...I really need to get my priorities straight...)

Blaziken- :dead: This is an atrocious sin. Three fire moves is extreme overkill, not to mention a waste of space. Try this:
[email protected] Beak Blaze Kick Sky Uppercut AA D Claw if possible...EQ maybe if not? Gardevoir-Psychic and T/Bolt are no-brainers. Ther other moves... Gardevoir does not have a decent ATK stat, so Hyper Beam is out. Try for a p-annoyer by replacing Hyper Beam and Secret Power with Toxic and Imprison. Latias- :( No Mist Ball... Try D Claw, Mist Ball, Fly, Wish Metagross-Pretty much standard Keep as is Mightyena-I would avoid altogether If you must use it though, thats as good as it will get I'm not a Mightyena expert though... Registeel-I prefer rock, but ok... Try this maybe Superpower, Metal Claw, Iron Defense, Amnesia Blocker is the role Registeel is most suited for. As for your other team... Nidoqueen-King is better(Megahorn) but I will try to help Queen Sludge Bomb EQ Surf Hyper Beam Superpower is too detrimental to ues on a phy sweeper Venusaur-Again, overkill. Keep Solarbeam and trash F Plant. Replace with Sunny Day :\ duh? Rapidash-Ember? are you serious? :dead: With Fire Blast and Ember, it is not simple overkill, but also use of a 40 Power move. Keep away from the moves Ember, Confusion, Powder Snow, T Shock, Water Gun, and Vine Whip. Bounce and Fire Blast are good. Take down is questionable...you are using Selfdestruct when you can have Explosion. If you want a recoil move go Dbl Edge. Also replace Ember with Toxic. Aero-Kill Take Down for EQ Dugtrio-EQ and Fissure are OK...Kill Dbl Edge for Rock Slide Hypno-Psychic, Future Sight, Toxic, Protect I am not a Hypno expert, but I think you want a p-annoyer |

You know...the more I read this thread...the more of a self-centered idiot I feel...well, I guess it's time to turn over a new leaf and try these move suggestions out. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try something new for once insted of ignoreing it. Thanks for making me realizeing it you all.

Hey,the same happened to me,just try them out and eventually you'll learn how to make movesets on your own

Well...as long as I'm not the only one I don't feel completely moronic...

It will be best if u had something that is not a sweeper, get a baton passer and a hazer/pseudohazer.
Otherwise, people will mop the floor with YOU if they have a ninjask bp party. Just a recommmendation. And one question, which town do u live in? |
