3.
There's a Discord bot named Pokecord. In that bot, I had a Yungoos that somehow didn't evolve, even though I leveled it up during daytime. |
2.
It is often compared to Donald Trump due to it’s tuft fur sort of resembling his hairstyle. |
1.
Its evolution looks even more like Donald Trump. |
0.
We’ve impeached Yungoos. Time to give Gumshoos a small loan of a million votes. 10. |
9.
I'm voting it down. |
8.
If it’s gonna be slow, it should have good defenses. |
7.
The only regional rodent that has ever been good in higher tiers is Diggersby, and that's because of its hidden ability. |
6.
Although it’s supposed to be a detective, it wound up being memed on for resembling Trump even further. |
5.
Meanwhile, Pikachu stole the detective role. |
4.
It is the first Totem Pokémon in Sun and Ultra Sun, given that the line are diurnal species. |
3.
I never had to deal with Totem Gumshoos. |
2
I'm not too fond of this Pokemon. |
1.
It’s possible to have a good fully evolved early-route Pokémon, but the stats and typing, along with movepools to an extent, are not often there for most to be viable. |
0.
Gumshoos is discarded, on to Grubbin. https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/xyani/grubbin.gif 10. |
9.
It takes some noticeable time to evolve. |
8.
I'm okay with voting it down. |
7.
It evolves into another Bug/Electric-type, a combo that hasn’t been found since Unova. |
6
It's a boring looking bug type Pokemon. |
5.
A lot of early Bug-types are not usually that impressive, but they can evolve into badass and elegant specimen. |
4.
Or they can evolve into weak things that can't even do stuff in the PU tier. |
3.
The entire line is native to Galar, giving players the option to run Monotypes (Bug or Electric) for their playthroughs. |
2.
No, they're native to Alola. |
1.
I was meant to say that the line can be found in Galar, given that Grubbin was seen in one of the trailers if memory serves. Only one more drop and we’ll be dealing with your most despised Pokémon to date, my friend. |
0.
Grubbin has been discarded. Charjabug is next. https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/xyani/charjabug.gif 10. Charjabug has never been my most despised Pokemon. My most despised Pokemon is Watchog. As for Charjabug, I don't hate it that much anymore, but I'm still voting it down. |
9.
Some people do mellow out over time. Regardless, Charjabug has the Battery Ability, which improves the special prowess of it’s Allies in Double Battles. |
8.
When you said this line was native to Galar, I thought you meant that they were originally from Galar, but migrated to Alola. Either way, Charjabug used to be my least favourite Gen 7 Pokemon, but that 'honor' now belongs to Brionne. |
7.
We have our brain farts from time to time. Anyways, this Pokémon, along with Crabrawler, take the entire main story of the original Sun/Moon to evolve. I don’t know what Game Freak was smoking, but at least their evolutions are obtained earlier around the midway point in USUM. |
6.
I still wish Charjabug evolved by level. |
5
Not really much of a Pokemon that catches my interest. |
4.
I think it looks weird. |
3.
It has higher physical Attack than it’s final stage, allowing it to run moves like Dig, Acrobatics, Crunch, X-Scissor and Wild Charge. |
2.
I wanted its final evolution to have high Attack and Speed. |
1.
Nearly there. |
0.
Charjabug has dried out. Vikavolt is next. https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/xyani/vikavolt.gif 10. |
11.
While pitifully slow, it has massive Sp. Atk for a fully-evolved early Bug-type. |
12.
If you ask me, it's a worse Galvantula. |
13.
It has better special coverage, although it needs Hidden Power Ground, Fire or Fighting for handling specific Steel-types. HP Ice is also pretty good for handling Dragon-types, though there are faster special sweepers out there that can effectively utilize those types of Hidden Power. |
14.
I would've given Vikavolt higher Attack and Speed, and lower Special Attack. |
15.
I’d personally settle for higher Speed, but I can see why some would want it to be a physical sweeper. |
14
It's creepy looking. |
15.
It was compared to the Vic Viper at some point. |
14
It is known to have a rivalry with Pinsir and Heracross and I prefer Heracross. |
15.
Pinsir and Heracross > Vikavolt. |
16.
It’s Speed is low enough to be useful in Trick Room, and Gen VIII is introducing a new Held Item to make it even slower to be deadly once Trick Room activates. |
17.
I still wish it was faster. |
18.
I wish base Speed was 100 or higher on numerous Alolan Pokémon. |
19.
I don't know what Game Freak was smoking during development of Gen VII. |
20.
Vikavolt is safe, in spite of it’s awful Speed. Crabrawler is next. 10. |
11.
I like Crabrawler. |
12.
It is based on a coconut crab, a species of crab that cannot thrive underwater, hence why it’s a Fighting-type. |
13.
It guards its weak points with its pincers. |
14.
It has Iron Fist as one of it’s possible Abilities, which gives it pretty strong STAB Drain Punches and Power-up Punches. |
15.
It evolves at Mt. Lanakila, and its evolution method wasn't changed in USUM. |
16.
It can be found all across Alola under massive piles of berries. |
17.
Its pincers often fall off from overuse, but they grow back quickly. |
18.
It can learn Crabhammer through level up, giving it’s evolution a pretty good move to use against Fire and/or Ground-types. |
19
Many Crabrawler will gather around a tree to compete for the ripe berries. |
20.
Crabrawler is safe now. (Crab Rave intensifies.) Crabominable is next. 10. |
11
It can store cold in its claws which are capable of smashing ice walls or halting avalanches. |
12.
I have no problems with Crabominable's design. |
13.
It’s signature move is Ice Hammer, a powerful Ice-type attack that works similarly to Hammer Arm, where it lowers the user’s Speed upon impact. |
14.
I'd rather use Ice Punch or Icicle Crash as a physical Ice type move. |
15.
Fighting/Ice makes for a great offensive type combo, though Crabominable is very slow and sort of frail to effectively use it. |
16.
Ice/Fighting may be good offensively, but it's not that good defensively. |
17
In desperate times, the claws can even be fired like rockets. |
18.
It could be a good Pokemon for winter wars. |
19.
It should learn Mach Punch or Ice Shard in Sword & Shield if it is part of the Galar PokeDex. |
20.
Crabominable is safe now, Oricorio is next. https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/xyani/oricorio.gif 10. |
11.
It’s signature move; Revelation Dance, varies in type depending on it’s form. |
12.
The Pa'u form doesn't look that good, but the other forms look good. |
13.
My favorite is the Baile Style, because it is a Fire/Flying-type and it has the best shiny out of all the Styles, IMO. |
14.
I think I like the Sensu style the most. |
15.
Sensu is also a majestic style, being another Ghost/Flying-type, which only the Drifloon line had up until Gen VII. |
16.
You forgot to add the number. |
17.
Just updated my mistake as soon as I noticed your response. |
18.
I wouldn't mind not seeing it in the Galar Pokedex. |
19
The Baile style form is my favorite. |
20.
Oricorio is safe now. Time to judge Cutiefly. 10. |
9.
I'll vote it down. It reminds me too much of real flies. |
8.
It can take quite a while to evolve into a decent Pokémon, though not to the insane extent of, say, Charjabug or Larvesta. |
7.
You can also catch a Ribombee in the Ula'ula Meadow. |
6.
Sweet Veil is a better Ability for it, though it requires patience and moves like Simple Beam or Entrainment to find one with that Ability. |
5.
Shield Dust isn't that bad either, as it prevents secondary effects from opposing attacking moves from affecting the user. |
4.
They can only learn Moonblast via breeding. |
3.
I wish Togekiss could learn Moonblast. |
2.
Moonblast should have been learnable by Move Tutor. |
1.
I'm sorry Cutiefly but it had to be done |
0.
Cutiefly is down. Ribombee is next. 10. |
11.
Ahh Ok I like it better than cutiefly |
12
The pollen and nectar its collects is used to form balls called Pollen Puffs. |
13
Ribombee hates the rain because it messes up its hair and the pollen gets damp |
14.
It’s signature move is Pollen Puff, which inflicts serious damage on the opponent. However, it also heals some HP of it’s Ally in Double Battles if used on the Ally. |
15.
Ribombee is the fastest non-legendary/mythical pokemon of Alola |
16
It looks like a fairy. |
17.
Ribombee has a much more pleasant design than Cutiefly. |
18.
If bred sufficiently in USUM, it can learn Powder to punish users that try to attack it with Fire-type moves, and Sticky Web to slow down the opposing enemy if they’re not Flying-types or have the Levitate Ability. It can also learn Moonblast in both S/M games via breeding for stronger STAB. |
19.
In USUM, Ribombee was added as a new Totem Pokemon. |
20.
Ribombee is safe now. Time to judge the rock pupper itself; Rockruff. 10. |
9.
I'm not a fan of Rockruff TBH. |
10.
I used Lycanroc on my team so why not |
