rate my ruby team

groudon lv.100
attacks:hyper beam, solar beam, eruption, fire blast

sceptile lv.100
attacks:earthquake, dragon claw, solar beam, hyper beam

mightyena lv.100
attacks:hyper beam, crunch, bite, shadow ball

rayqauza lv.100
attacks: hyper beam, fire blast, thunder, fly

crwdunt lv.100
attacks: crab hammer, surf, ice beam, dive

jurichi lv.100
attacks: doom desier, psy beam, wish, shadow ball

Digital_Remix June 17th, 2005 8:37 PM

Decent, but all of the beams will kill you because of recharge, espically if there's a miss, or it doesn't kill the opponent's Pokemon.

Also, try and get creative. I see no real diversity in them except they all go for elemental weaknessess. What about poisoning and such?

Rayquaza should not have fly either. :(

Hyper beam? Eruption? Fire Blast?? Use this moveset: Overheat, Swords Dance, Rock Slide, Earth Quake

sceptile lv.100
attacks:earthquake, dragon claw, solar beam, hyper beam
Don't go with Hyper Beam again. It won't hit all the time and gives the opponent a full turn. Use this moveset instead: Leaf Blade, Dragon Claw, Thunderpunch/Leech Seed, Hp Ice/Crunch/Substitute.

mightyena lv.100
attacks:hyper beam, crunch, bite, shadow ball
Crunch and Bite? Use only Crunch. I'd replace Bite with Howl and Hyper beam with Taunt.

rayqauza lv.100
attacks: hyper beam, fire blast, thunder, fly
Use this moveset instead: Extreme Speed, Aerial Ace, Dragon Claw, Earthquake

crwdunt lv.100
attacks: crab hammer, surf, ice beam, dive
Use this instead: Surf, Ice Beam, Taunt, filler.

jurichi lv.100
attacks: doom desier, psy beam, wish, shadow ball
This looks a bit better, though I'm not a jirachi expert so I don't really know if it's a good moveset... maybe change psy beam to Psychic.

Don't use Hyper beam, cause it doesn't hit all the time because of the low accuracy and doesn't KO the opponent in every situation, plus it gives the opponent a full turn to attack you. Another thing is to give a pokemon different type of attacks, not of the same type. And finally, see the pokemon's stats and based by that, give it attacks which are using the attack stat, if the attack stat is higher, or give it attacks which are using the sp.attack stat if that is higher. I'd rate your team 7/10 and it must improove alot until it will be an elite team. Well, good luck.

Mutant Weedle June 17th, 2005 11:18 PM

Hmmm...Good party but in my opinion you should replace Spectile's hyper beam with toxic. One of My favourite parties includes my Lvl 75 Wobbuffet. It knows Mirror coat, Destiny Bond,Encore and Counter. Thats my favourite moveset. Replace your Mightenya for a Lvl100 Wobbuffet.

Groudon80 June 20th, 2005 10:17 AM

toxic sucks you nooby idiot

BassX June 21st, 2005 7:11 AM

toxic doesnt suck its just if u have many lv100s whats the point of having toxic because by the time it takes effect u would have already won

husk1442 June 21st, 2005 7:45 AM

which is why it sucks? =/

Toxic DOES NOT SUCK. Only on sweepers does it suck. Also it's funny how NONE OF HIS POKEMON HAVE TOXIC AND YOU MENTIONED IT.

And it's not really too good a team. Just being honest. Get rid of all those hyper beams and your moves are all just power moves with no power-up moves or special condition moves. Your groudon set is very bad. Physical attack are where groudon shines. Err OK let's go trhough one by one and I'll help.

groudon lv.100
attacks:hyper beam, solar beam, eruption, fire blast

No good at all. One of the best groudon sets is this.

[email protected] Berry/leftovers
Jolly: 252 Spd, 252 Att, 6 Sp Def
Earthquake
Ancientpower
Return/Overheat
Bulk Up

Groudons special is nothing when compared with it's physical abilities. Great set there.

With sceptile focus alot more on it's special abilities.

[email protected] Berry
Timid: 252 spd, 252 spcl.atk, 6 HP
Leaf Blade
Dragon Claw
Crunch
HP Ice

Needless to say anything. You have super speed and good special attack sweep away.

Err, you don't need bit their. Or too a lesser extent crunch. It's got too low spcl.atk. This may work but I'm crap with these thing, never used one.

[email protected]
Jolly: 252 atk, 252 spd, 6 HP
Howl
Shadow Ball
Poison fang
Return

Err doesn't look to bad I suppose.

For Rayquaza that's one of your better sets. Still could use a little imporvement though. Use this for sweeping.

[email protected]/Lum Berry
Adamant: 252 Att, 129 Spd, 129 HP
Dragon Dance
Extremespeed
Aerial Ace
HP Rock/Brick Break/Earthquake

or this for special sweeping

[email protected] Berry
Timid: 252 Spd, 252 Sp Att, 6 HP
Dragon Claw
Flamethrower
Ice Beam
Surf

Super power random special moves to wipe out the enemy. It works surprisingly.

Your crawdaunt set could be worse. But no 2 water attacks please. This one is also very good.

[email protected]
Adamant: 252 Att, 129 HP, 129 Sp Def/Spd
Swords Dance
Brick Break
Return
HP Ghost

Yes another sweeper but that's what your team seems to be made of.

Jirachi hmm. Not bad but try this

[email protected] Berry
Timid: 252 Spd, 252 Sp Att, 6 HP
Calm Mind/ Rain Dance
Psychic
Water Pulse
Thunderbolt/Thunder

Kick *** set. 60% chance of confusion has water pulse. calm mind if you use thunderbolt but rain dance if you use thunder. Rain dance also powers up water pulse. They are both good.

Well, hope I helped. I'm tired of thinking now so err... bye.

Groudon80 June 21st, 2005 9:57 AM

no plz stfu.

toxic sucks because it doesn't give you an advantage of having your opponent NOT attack next turn. Toxic is just switch/rest bait, and a useless move altogether.

Sceptile_Master June 22nd, 2005 9:07 AM

I've seen it work so many times. My ludicolo set which uses toxic and I've taken down a whole team of ubers with it before. It can be used very well when properly done. Your like a n00b that goes around telling everyone else they are n00bs. Everyone that tries to help gets slagged off by you.
