zapdos lv66

venusaur lv 66
strength Maybe Body Slam or Facade would be better, but don't give HMs to starters (except surf for water ones).
earthquake Venusaur can use it's special attack stat better. Body Slam/Facade would be there only for though situations where grass moves aren't effective. Maybe replace this one with Hp ice/fire/water.
solarbeam If you switch Frenzy Plant for Sleep Powder, then it can stay, but if no, then give it Giga Drain instead.
frenzy plant Well it is a powerful move, but giving a full turn to the opponent to recover hp/attack you isn't a good thing. I'd suggest maybe Sleep Powder instead.

charizard lv66
fire spin
overheat
flamethrower
cut
Whoa! 3 attacks of the same type from which 1 even lowers special attack! Give it this moveset instead: Aerial Ace/Return, Earth Quake, Flamethrower, Steel Wing/Swords Dance/Dragon Dance.

zapdos lv66
thunder
fly
shock wave
drill peck
2 flying type and 2 electric type moves. I'd suggest to replace fly with Thunder Wave, Shock Wave with Rain Dance.

blastoise lv62
surf
water pulse
skull bash
blizzard
Two attacks of the same type... again. Leave Surf, but switch water pulse with Ice beam, Blizzard with Earth Quake and Skull Bash with Substitute/Rest.

dragonite lv64
slam
rock smash
ice beam
hyper beam
Give Dragonite Thunderbolt instead of rock smash to have Boltbeam. Give him instead of Hyper beam Aerial Ace and instead of Slam, give him Dragon Claw.

alakazam lv59
psychic
reflect
psybeam/Light Screen
calm mind/Recover

And yet again I know there moves are'nt very good AT all. any suggestions would helpful

I'd rate your team 7.5/10, cause you gave two or three moves to each pokemon of the same type. To make a good team, you need to give them different types to cover more weaknesses. I hope my suggestions helped you. Well good luck!

Bashaamo June 18th, 2005 7:38 PM

Not bad at all. 8/10. I would say you have a good team with a good combination of pokemon.
