I'll say it here, too! I love your suit~

I'm also glad it fits great; 'tis a great onesie to add to your wardrobe :3

how are you all <3

Yue Han July 12th, 2019 6:28 AM

I'm full of adrenaline. I was getting a shirt hanging up to dry from my balcony before work and as I went to go back inside I saw that the door was shut...and then found out it locked itself. I had no phone so I had to smash the glass (the one convenient thing that the door is/was made of glass) and I did not realise how sturdy glass can be when you're trying to bash against it but I managed it! Thank you outside portable mop sink, I don't know what I would have done without you.

oh my god i hope your hand wasn't too badly hurt. i'm paranoid about locking myself out - we have a spare key but it's,,not actually hidden anywhere.

Starlight July 12th, 2019 8:10 PM

Locking myself out would be terrifying. I really should leave a spare key with someone. As it stands right now, if I lost my key I wouldn't have any way back in without calling a locksmith...

I truly hope all you guys, girls and other variations are doing super great and that life is treating you well :)

alisaie July 12th, 2019 8:25 PM

mmm reminds me my sister and i need to get our new house key copied so we can stop sharing it. normally she locks the house and sticks it somewhere hidden so when i get home i can get into the house. problem with this is once she forgot to do that and i had to get into the house through a window that, thankfully, was cracked open. that was fun (not i never want to do that again).

Ivysaur July 13th, 2019 12:09 AM

We gave copies of our keys to three neighbours and our aunt, so our chances of being locked in are tiny. Except for that time all of them were away at once. I had a lot of fun that day.

Thanks and no my hand is fine as I used this sturdy outside “sink” for mops that easily detached. Although a shard did scrape me a tiny bit when the glass finally exploded but only a tiny bit. It was a really tight space as well so I had to stand super close when bashing haha. Actually if the door wasn’t made of glass it would have been quite scary because I live on the 7th floor and I don’t think I could have got in another way.

I made a lot of noise trying to get in and explained to my neighbour (from her balcony) this situation and got her to try and call security but they didn’t have a key so couldn’t help anyway. She was really sweet bless her, although she doesn’t really speak much Mandarin since she’s old but mine was better than I thought it’d be in a high stress situation like that.

Geez Yue Han, that's insane, and I'm glad you weren't too hurt. My heart rate would spike like crazy if something like that ever happened to me. :<

Sami July 14th, 2019 2:39 AM

I've locked myself out once... had to wait 4 hours till my parents returned, fun times.

colours July 14th, 2019 4:35 AM

I don't think I've locked myself out (yet), so fingers crossed I won't in the future. u.u

Well hopefully you can work it out.

Kitty July 15th, 2019 5:56 PM

Could always walk

Sami July 15th, 2019 11:29 PM

I dont think walking works in this case as its quite the distance lol

Tsutarja July 16th, 2019 5:28 AM

Walking is great and I need to get out more and do it. But I don't live in a really walkable location, and sometimes the summer weather does not permit it. :(

On the upside, I hope everyone has a good day today! So far, my Tuesday is off to a great start.

Noblejanobii July 16th, 2019 6:07 AM

I walked everywhere when I lived in Spain unless I was on a time crunch. But unfortunately the States don't have great systems for walking unless you live in the city which I do not.

Sami July 16th, 2019 6:21 AM

I rarely walk, takes 4x as long to get somewhere and im very lazy

Yue Han July 16th, 2019 6:41 AM

I love walking. I cannot wait for my contract to be over and have no obligations, the thing I'm most looking forward to is just being able to go anywhere and wander without having to plan around my job. I've already planned some trips around Cornwall and the Peak District when I return to England. I was never really interested in seeing much of my country until I left it.

What about cycling? Bikes are pretty inexpensive second hand, and are over 5x faster than walking (based on average walking and cycling speeds). Personally I cycle whenever I find myself actually being ready to leave for work with enough time to do so, which is rarely the case :/ Instead I just take the train like 99% of the time since I always have a monthly ticket anyway.
