Tentative Emerald Team

Just what it says on the tin, the two first ones are already in my team and on a high level so any suggestions for nature, egg moves, or EV allocation are wasted (I'm too lazy to train new ones from scratch and Blaziken is Male), but feedback would be appreciated (Especially with good motivations):

Blaziken (Basically aming to do massive damage fast)
Nature:Adamant
Trait: Blaze
Item:Scope Lens
Slash
Sky Uppercut
Blaze Kick (I know it's a special attack, but 'Blaze' and the STAB should make up for it)
Focus Energy

Ludicolo (Same as for Blaziken, but should be able to take a bit more damage)
Nature:Bashful
Trait:Swift Swim
Item:Leftovers/Shell Bell
Surf (Or Waterfall if I need it)
Ice Beam (possibly Thunder if it's an option)
Giga Drain
Rain Dance (A must have for any Ludicolo)

Flygon
Nature: Any thing that drops sp. attack.
Trait:Levitate
Item:Leftovers/Shell Bell
Rock Slide/Rock Tomb
Fly (I don't want to trod around on foot forever)
Earthquake
Substitue/Attract (I'm open to suggestions here)

Milotic (Takes a beating like few others)
Nature:Anything that drops Attack
Trait:Marvel Scale
Item:Leftovers/Focus Band
Surf
Ice Beam
Dragonbreath/Refresh
Recover (Should work well with Milotic's high defenses)

Metagross
Nature:Anything that drops Sp.Attack or Speed
Trait:Clear Body
Item:Scope Lens/King's Rock/Leftovers
Brick Break
Shadow Ball
Earthquake/Meteor Mash
Agility (To cover for its inherent slowness)

Glalie (Still pretty much up in the air)
Nature: Preferably Timid
Trait:Inner Focus
Item: (Suggestions especially welcome)
Ice Beam
Water Pulse
Crunch
Rain Dance (Because I don't want to withdraw just because I run into some measly fire type)

So...comments please (Particularly on Glalie)? Possible suggestions for a replacement for Glalie would also be welcome since I don't know if it's any good in a fight.

your team is very good just buy a fire blast for blaziken (give rep)

Alter Ego June 26th, 2005 4:30 AM

I'm not really in a position to buy a Fireblast TM at the moment (Still in Mauville). Besides, does Fireblast's slight advantage in Power (35, I believe) really compensate for the lower Critcal hit Ratio and pp value? And if plain base damage really is preferable wouldn't Overheat be a better option (considering that it would be Blaziken's only special attack)? I'm, sorry but it would take something a bit more explained before I start handing out rep.
