UU or not?

Are Houndoom, Registeel, Moltres, and Jirachi UU? thanks in advance, and sorry if this is the wrong place

I'm not sure if all these are right but I thinkn it's:

Houndoom->BL
Registeel->OU
Moltres->UU (I think)
Jirachi->I'm pretty sure it's either BL, or OU

Hope this helps.
:D

Jirachi is considered uuber.

shiny_suicune June 29th, 2005 8:48 AM

kijin i don't think it's uber...it's stats aren't all that great and it has a mediocre moveset. same thing with celebi and mew.

and sorry if i sound stupid but what does BL stand for?

Search 00ber list: and you'll come up w/ a list of those pokemon that are considered uber. Please do research before talking back to me.

In case you're too lazy to do the search:

==============================================================================
Pokemon Classifications
==========================================================================S8.0

I believe this needs some clearing up, since people often ask "is such and
such UU or 00ber"? And thus, I have the following lists. The 00ber list is
primarily on the basis of stat total, and is also pretty much set in stone.
The UU list, on the other hand, is somewhat vague. I am using AK's list,
which I believe to be the most accurate, but someone will always argue about
it :/ Any pokes not in this list can be assumed to be "standard".

00BER LIST: (S8.1)

Celebi, Deoxys (all forms), Groudon, Jirachi, Kyogre, Ho-oh, [email protected], Lugia,
Mew, Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Uberdisc

actually, it isn't. it has the same offensive strategy as Gardevoir, typing that renders it weak to Earthquake, the most common move, and can't abuse Serene grace.

it's technically BL.

Houndoom: BL
Registeel: UU (not allowed in UU games due to stat totals.)
Moltres: UU (see Registeel's note)
Jirachi: BL

Registeel is BL to me,I see it occasionally(but mostly everyone just keeps attacking aimlessly with registeel) Jirachi is bl,it doesnt have good enough stats to be uber,moltes is UU,dont know why,it just used like that no one ever uses it

Mullet June 29th, 2005 10:55 AM

I've seen Jirachi, and Registeel quite often, Registeel more often though. Whent comes to Jirachi I see a Wish, and Boltbeam set, as for Registeel, I see stalling sets. That's just me though. To be an uber a poke has to have incredibly high base stats, and very good typing.

nobody told you to be so rude, and according to several sites jirachi is not an uber. what kind of list of ubers is that? no wobbufett? you don't know everything. and besdies, i never asked you if it was an uber, i asked if it was uu. next time, you do the research, especially if you want to act smart.

husk1442 June 29th, 2005 4:20 PM

legends are OU by default

Houndoom is between BL and OU

wobbufett is not an uber in many ppl's opinion.:/

and like husk said, even if jirachi was uu(which it most definitely isn't) it is OU just by default. taking aside the fact that it's a legend, he's probably BL - OU. it's quite common, imo.

and houndoom is OU from my experience. as OU as tyranitar at least.

It's still banned. Wobbufett will KO at least one pokemon.

and if Two Wobbufett meet, it is a battle that will take way too long to end.

wobbufett can't do much against most of my teams. i mean really, if your team is balanced you shouldn't have trouble against wobbufett. i always find them relatively easy to beat.

Doomhanger July 3rd, 2005 11:36 PM

You can also beat a Wobbofet with a Houndoom, or any dark sp attacker. Mirror Coat does not affect dark types...

I wasn't being rude, I asked you to please do research on topics before correcting me because I did my research before answering your question, then I posted what research I had just to make sure you knew I wasn't talking out of my butt. You don't have to be rude to me just because I have something backing what I said and posted it just so we were clear about what I was talking about.

Probably because Wobbofet isn't uber. He's mostly banned because he's a cheap cheap cheap pokemon. Cheap != uber.

Feel free to quote me where I said I did.

Ok, so you're saying that by me saying that Jirachi is of a rank that is not underused after asking if it was underused, I did not answer your question of whether or not Jirachi is underused. Right. GG. GFG.

Next time don't be a hypocrite when you talk to someone, especially when they're trying to be helpful. Not only did I do research on this subject, I posted my findings and a citation of where to find that information. Your response was, "well, places I know say that's wrong". Where's your research? Where's your documentation? Where's your 'not being rude'? Honestly, if you want people to be nice to you, don't snarl at them when they're NOT BEING RUDE TO YOU.

husk1442 July 4th, 2005 5:17 PM

http://www.smogon.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=774 is a pretty good source for your banned pokemon info. Wobbafett paired with a dugtrio can sweep 3-4 pokemon a match if your opponent can predict right. And Destiny bond+ encore does take care of houndoom =/. Also imo gfaqs is a good place to get facts from, but, everything else is pretty bad =( .
