or you can simply try to use: Earthquake, Rock Slide, Screech, Quick Attack.

Houndoom @ Salac berry :

I'm with mullet on Houndoom's move set.

However:

Flygon:

Crunch
Fire Blast
Dragon Claw
Earthquake

Hope it helps!

Let Bowser rule mankind with Dakim! Down with Mario!

Da Schwarz July 6th, 2005 10:24 PM

for me it isn't about lowering their stats its about hitting them with all i got
so

Flygon
Aerial Ace
Dragon Claw
Fire Blast (use pp ups on it)
Earthquake

Houndoom
Crunch
Flamethrower
Smog
Secret Power(works well when paralyzed)

Doomhanger July 6th, 2005 10:39 PM

Don't waste a move-space on smog, when you can give it toxic; smog has low accuracy and the toxic condition is much deadlier than poison.
Then again, i woul'd just go for a sweeper, due to Houndoom's high sp attack.

Dan Dan July 7th, 2005 4:03 AM

If you're saying that your H-doom forgot toxic while in the daycare, you can always use the heart scale tutor. But if you already taught it to another pokemon, that's another story. (unless it's in the same egg group)

Espy Psyche July 8th, 2005 8:57 AM

[email protected] Lens
EQ
D Claw
Crunch/Flamethrower
Sand Tomb

[email protected] Seed
F/Thrower
Sunny Day
Solarbeam
Crunch
Mullet hit this one perfectly.

If Houndoom hits field first and uses Sunny Day, Flygon's F/Thrower gets more power too. If you think you need a Ghost killer, then go with Crunch instead.

Mullet July 8th, 2005 9:06 AM

What is with you and Scope Lens? Miracle Seed sucks. You don't need to post a set that's already been posted, the only thing that's different about yours is the held item which sucks. Don't use that Flygon, use Dan-Dan, Husk's, or my set for Flygon.:\

electricgrass July 8th, 2005 10:08 AM

Flygon:
EarthQuake (good)
Dragonbreath (ok if u want paralize if not then use dragon claw)
Fly(no try rock slide or HP grass)
HyperBeam (no try flamethrower/crunch

Houndoom:
Smog
Faint Attack
Bite
Overheat
I guess I'd agree with mullet on houndoom

Uber_Flame July 8th, 2005 11:09 AM

Rest is just a waste on sweepers. :\ So don't use it on them.

Houndoom
Crunch

Smog
Secret Power(works well when paralyzed)

crunch, hp grass, beat up/will-o-wisp, fire blast

choice band is good for your strategy. too bad it only raises attack :(

but in the long run, your strategy fails.
