Should I improve my team?

Lv86 Raichu (Held Item: Amulet Coin)

[NORMAL] Mega punch [ELECTR] Thunder
[NORMAL] Double-edge
[ELECTR] Thunderbolt

Lv82 Tyranitar (Held Item: Quick Claw)

[WATER] Surf
[DARK] Crunch
[ELECTR] Thunderbolt
[GROUND] Earthquake

Lv83 Suicune (Held Item: Sea Insence)

[WATER] Hydro Pump
[ICE] Ice beam
[WATER] Rain Dance
[STEEL] Iron Tail

Lv81 Crobat (Held Item: Soothe Bell)

[FLYING] Fly
[NORMAL] Hyper Beam
[POISON] Sludge Bomb [GHOST] Confuse Ray

Lv81 Charizard (Held Item: Leftovers)

[FIRE] Fire Blast
[NORMAL] Body Slam
[FIRE] Flamethrower
[FIRE] Blast Burn

Lv92 Mewtwo (Held Item: Leftovers)

[PSYCHIC] Psychic
[GROUND] Earthquake
[NORMAL] Recover
[ELECTR] Thunderbolt

I think that really the only things that need to be changed are Charizard's moves, since three are fire type. But I covered alot of the basic moves, and in every battle I've had, I could get the advantage over the foe. But aside from Charizard, I'd like to hear your opinions on my team. Thanks.

OMG, ur Charizard is horrible! Not really, but it has Blast Burn. A big no no

SRV July 16th, 2005 3:59 PM

Blast Burn is like a Fire type Hyper Beam, it's extremely powerful good accuracy..but, sigh, must recharge. But it is a good move nontheless. Have you got any reccomended move sets for Charizard?

Those are my suggestions....

the skate board kid July 16th, 2005 4:04 PM

[email protected] or some healing berry for belly drum

Belly Drum
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Fire Blast/Flamethrower

Thanks, but I'm not sure I'd change the Mewtwo, but I probably should change Charizard. I hate teaching my guys rest but it really is a smart move if you have a pokéflute, which everyone has, so I think I'll teach him that. Raichu already knows Mega Punch and I think it's more reliable than Focus Punch because if you get hit the following turn you don't use it. For Tyranitar, I'd keep cruch. I want to teach it Dragon Dance..does it learn it at a certain level..or do you need the TM?

[WATER] Surf
[DARK] Crunch
[ELECTR] Thunderbolt
[GROUND] Earthquake
Dragon Dance, Taunt, Rock Slide, Earthquake

Lv83 Suicune (Held Item: Leftovers)

Surf, Calm Mind/Ice Beam, Rest, Roar/Ice Beam

Lv81 Crobat (Held Item: Choice Band/Leftovers)

Uhhh...Darkbolt, custom HPs? o.o
Aerial Ace, Quick Attack, Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball or Confuse Ray, Haze, Aerial Ace, Sludge Bomb

Lv81 Charizard (Held Item: Leftovers)

[FIRE] Fire Blast
[NORMAL] Body Slam
[FIRE] Flamethrower
[FIRE] Blast Burn
Belly Drum, Fire Blast/Overheat, Fly/Aerial Ace, Earthquake/Rock Slide

Lv92 Mewtwo (Held Item: Leftovers)

[PSYCHIC] Psychic
[GROUND] Earthquake

Since this is ingame, you REALLY need Recover only if you want.

A fast Electric will give you problems, so will Rock/Ground Attacks.

Suicune is near inmortal.

Mega Punch is does not get Super-effective hits.

and Focus Punch, if you can predict a switch, will do alot of damage.

unless you are going with Boah(a particular mixed sweeper Tyranitar), you do not need Crunch

It's an egg move.

Altaria -> Charmander -> Larvitar

Horsea -> Lapras -> Larvitar

SRV July 16th, 2005 6:37 PM

Yeah, that is true if the pokemon isn't electric, and if it's not a rock/ground type using rock/ground moves. But I think I might have the type advantage anyway..but just incase any suggestions?

orangekows July 16th, 2005 6:59 PM

everyone knows what type the moves are.

SRV July 16th, 2005 7:03 PM

What's that supposed to mean?

...huh?

alot uses Earthquake, and Focus Punch does not need STAB to do alot of damage.

Giga July 16th, 2005 7:06 PM

hammity ham ham fo shizzle?

SRV July 16th, 2005 7:09 PM

Okay,

One: What is STAB? Special type advantage b....?
Two: I never said it needed "STAB" to do alot
And three: This is getting pretty off topic

Giga July 16th, 2005 7:13 PM

Same Type Attack Bonus
It's not that off topic

Ham July 16th, 2005 7:14 PM

STAB = Same Type Attack Bonus.

SRV July 16th, 2005 7:16 PM

Yes, Giga just mentioned that..

Ham July 16th, 2005 7:16 PM

very similar post times, sonny.

SRV July 16th, 2005 7:19 PM

So I guess everyone forgot the topic, or are just done, either way I guess it doesn't matter thanks for all the advice.

Charactarantula July 16th, 2005 9:48 PM

yeah you got the standard movesets, i would just take out mewtwo for either starmie or Dugtrio (i use em and they are kick ***), dugtrio w/ arena trap can switch into almost any electric pokemon and SOME bird pokemon (only if you have rock slide) dugtrio is a great way to take out raikou and zapdos. The reason i say remove Mewtwo is because using ubers develops no skill and on netbattle, your frowned upon for using ubers. Suicune is ok to use, shes just a legendary.

Golden Groudon July 17th, 2005 6:18 AM

People ingame will ~never switch so your best bet is to use focus punch with sub.

Zero ex July 17th, 2005 6:31 AM

really we need to now your pokemon status so we can now which attacks are better in your pokemon.(Sp. attacks or normsl attacks)

Golden Groudon July 17th, 2005 6:59 AM

It's in-game so it doesn't really matter anyways....

al we really need to know is the base stats.

Golden Groudon July 17th, 2005 9:00 AM

Yea. For example: Bliss A is only 10 while it's SAD is 75. Common Sense tells us that it's Sattack will always be way higher than the attack.
