Lust August 7th, 2005 2:18 PM

Well, the magazine is saying that they tape recorded the interview.

Black Blaze August 9th, 2005 7:48 PM

Man, they lose today, tough lose for us :disappoin

Lust August 9th, 2005 9:55 PM

It was a pretty close game. I thought you guys said they were gonna sweep the White Sox. xD

Kid Frost August 10th, 2005 10:28 AM

Yeah, but alen embree fuc*** it up, cause he gave up the home run to konerko, if they would had put rivera we would have won

Lust August 10th, 2005 1:06 PM

Well, they lost today so it doesn't really matter.

Kid Frost August 10th, 2005 5:24 PM

Yeah tough loss man. But pavano is out for maybe the rest of the season.

Lust August 10th, 2005 5:25 PM

That sucks for you guys. Jamie Moyer from the Mariners declined a trade to the Yankees.

Kid Frost August 10th, 2005 5:29 PM

xD. Yeah, I understand. I guess he didn't want to leave Seattle.

Kid Frost August 12th, 2005 9:51 AM

I heard he passed Randy Johnson's record for wins in seatlle with 131

Lust August 12th, 2005 11:31 AM

I guess so. The Mariners have the best pitching prospect in the majors.

Kid Frost August 12th, 2005 12:27 PM

Um, so what are their top prospects.

Lust August 12th, 2005 12:40 PM

This is the top pitching prospect in the MLB.

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7487

Kid Frost August 12th, 2005 12:56 PM

First of all he is 19, and second we almust have the same birthday, he looks real good for a 19 year old in stats

Lust August 12th, 2005 5:13 PM

Yeah, he was even the youngest pitcher in the minors.

Kid Frost August 12th, 2005 5:15 PM

O, update the Yankees are leading the ranger 6, 5 in the 6 on a derek jeter OPOSITE UPPER DECK HOME RUN !WOW!

Lust August 12th, 2005 5:17 PM

Woah, I didn't know he had that much power.

Kid Frost August 12th, 2005 5:19 PM

Me neither when he hit a home run he almust just gets it over the fence.

Lust August 13th, 2005 12:13 PM

Yeah, well some guys are like that. Ichiro never hits home runs in the game, but people say he's got as much power as anyone.

Kid Frost August 13th, 2005 1:12 PM

Yes, hey the yankees won today on a walk off home run from bernie, do you think we will get the sweep.

Lust August 13th, 2005 2:38 PM

Yeah, you guys probably will. The Rangers aren't very good.

Kid Frost August 13th, 2005 2:58 PM

Yeah me too, i think sweep, hey did you heard MARIANO RIVERA blew a save today.

Lust August 13th, 2005 3:02 PM

Yes, I saw it. I guess he's not perfect.

Kid Frost August 13th, 2005 3:08 PM

Yeah, no one is, but honestly who will win the cy young, al rokie of the year, and al mvp

Me

AL Cy young: Mariano, cause chicago will have two contenders so they will have a hard time, and plus he is in NEW YORK, thousands of yankee fans
AL rokkie of the year: Robinson cano
AL MVP: honestly Alex rodriguez if he get more home runs and average is better than manies

NL: Cy young: easy if the rocket can get 18 wins and his ERA under 1.00 on the road he will win it
NL rokkie of the year: some of atlantas rookies
Nl: mvp: albert pujols

Will derek lee win the triple crown: NO

Thank you very much

Black Blaze August 14th, 2005 8:10 PM

UM, not neccerally(message to short)

Mario The World Champion August 14th, 2005 8:53 PM

Well, it's still a bit too early to be handing out the awards just yet. Let's wait until the playoffs to see who's great.

Black Blaze August 14th, 2005 9:12 PM

Yes, welcome mario( can i call you mario) what do you think

Mario The World Champion August 14th, 2005 9:30 PM

(Sure. I prefer Mario)

Lust August 14th, 2005 9:45 PM

Mario The World Champion August 14th, 2005 9:56 PM

Black Blaze August 14th, 2005 10:07 PM

First of all i would like to congratulate Mario The World Champion because that was his 5,000th post in pokecommunity, and second of all my brother idolizes Arod he has thousands and thousands of Alex Rodriguez posters in his room, he bats like him, weres the exactly style glove that a rod uses and when he goes to baseball practice he take baseball shoes that say

Lust August 16th, 2005 12:03 AM

Who do you guys think will win the AL East? Boston or New York?

Black Blaze August 16th, 2005 10:19 AM

New York, but dont count toronto out yet they are getting roy holliday

Lust August 16th, 2005 12:02 PM

I think that Boston will win the AL East, Anaheim the AL West, Chicago the AL Central, and Oakland will be the Wild Card.

Act August 16th, 2005 1:39 PM

I put this on alert but never got a reply... I thought it died.

As for the AL east, I think Boston will probably win. The Yankees have been so inconsistant.

Black Blaze August 16th, 2005 6:16 PM

Man, the yankees lost all because of the stupid alen embree they should really take him out, he cant throw strikes and he sucks

Lust August 16th, 2005 9:24 PM

Well, he can't suck that bad. He's in the majors.

Mario The World Champion August 16th, 2005 10:35 PM

Yeah, and he was with the Red Sox last year and they won the World Series. XD

Lust August 16th, 2005 10:40 PM

Way to slam it in our faces! xD The Red Sox deserved to win the World Series last year so I was happy for them and their fans.

Act August 17th, 2005 4:04 AM

No pitcher could be less deserving of the Majors than Danny Graves. God, he is just awful. Seriously, I wonder how some fo these guys make it into even the Minors.

:kills Looper:

Black Blaze August 17th, 2005 12:26 PM

I agree with one thing. sorry act but the mets are a horrible road team, the mets dont deserve to be in new york, of course our matsui is way better, compering reyes to jeter, please, and danny graves in ok, we should release embree if we want a guy that gives alot runs we should get a minor

Act August 17th, 2005 1:16 PM

That wasn't rude o.o;;

Anyway, the Mets' home record is about 35-15 (last I checked), which isn't at all bad, though they are a poor road team. They have a lot of young guys who have tons of potential, but not quite enough experience (Reyes in point, along with my guy David Wright). My loveable losers, they are. Let's also not forget that one good 4- or 5-game winning streak will get them right in the middle of the NL wildcard races. The classic secondary NY team; they belong there right next to the Rangers and Giants for sure.

As for Reyes not camparing to Jeter... hah. Jeter should be flattered. Notwithstanding that Reyes is ten years younger than him (and therefore has less experience) and Jeter is in his prime age, at 31, let's compare stats:

Jeter: .303 AVG, 14 HR, 49 RBI, 11 SB
Reyes: .273, 3 HR* , 43 RBI** , 42 SB***

*(Reyes isn't a power hitter, so this doesn't matter much. His job is to get on base)
**(just about equal)
***(Hah. And again, hah.)

Let's not forget that Reyes recently came off a 20-game hitting streak, the current record for the NL.

I'm pretty sure DJ is cleanup while Reyes is leadoff, so their jobs are quite different. But when you're 22 and getting compared to a 31-year-old veterean, I'd say that's pretty good-- especially when it's an acurate comparison. And then there's the fact that all of Wright's stats, save average, are higher than Jeter's (the averages are equal), and that Wright is a 22-year-old future-cleanup. Look at the stats next time ;)

Black Blaze August 17th, 2005 2:19 PM

Ok, lets ask non new yorker, people who was and is better reyes and jeter, + arod is clean up,

and.......

Yankees are the best new york team

Act August 17th, 2005 2:54 PM

Where does Jeter bat? It can't be further back than fifth... ::shrug::

Quote:

Yankees are the best new york team
'Best' (the superlative case) is only used in describing three or more things, and there are only two New York teams... (Yes, I'm concious of that fact that I've left the fanfiction board) If you meant yankees are the better team, then yes, they are. Never said they weren't xD

I don't think Reyes and Jeter can really be acurately compared on the grounds of better/worse because what they do for the batting order is so different. ::shrug::

Lust August 17th, 2005 3:34 PM

Jeter is better than Reyes right now. Not only is Jeter a great player, but he is a great leader. I think that Reyes will be as good if not better than Jeter if he continues to improve.

Black Blaze August 17th, 2005 4:16 PM

Yes, indeed sorry act for the argument, so what are your favorite ballparks?
o and jeter is captain and leadoff hiter :)

Lust August 17th, 2005 9:35 PM

Safeco Field is beautiful, so it's my favorite park. I also like the Giants' ballpark.

Act August 18th, 2005 8:22 AM

Quote:

Jeter is better than Reyes right now. Not only is Jeter a great player, but he is a great leader. I think that Reyes will be as good if not better than Jeter if he continues to improve.
Agreed. He's still a young guy, Reyes.

Ballparks...? I think it was Minute Maid I like; I'm honestly not sure though.

Black Blaze August 18th, 2005 8:32 AM

to be honest really like sareco field but not better than yankee staduim, or equal

Lust August 18th, 2005 12:53 PM

Yankee Stadium is historical, but really ugly and old.

Act August 18th, 2005 1:05 PM

::nod:: Same with Shea xD. Isn't somewhat funny to think that Shea was state-of-the-art when it was built?

The Yankees need a new ballpark. As do the Cubs and the Red Sox.

Black Blaze August 18th, 2005 2:09 PM

thay are getting one in 2009, yes i really like that

Kid Frost August 18th, 2005 7:39 PM

hey act good to see you back posting in my club and yes they are going to get a new stadium

Chase Leader August 18th, 2005 8:11 PM

Ok can I join this club?

Who do you want to win the AL and NL Wild Cards?
Me being a huge Twins fan would say the White Sox will win the Wild Card and the Twins will win the ALC...hey I can dream and plus the Twins just swept the White Sox but the NL Wild Card is to close to call...and plus I really don't care (we all know its easier to win in the NL)

Kid Frost August 18th, 2005 8:13 PM

yeah you can join, but twins will be in 3rd on the al wild card cause.................

Autheletics will be first, red sox will be 2nd and your team willl be in 3rd :)

Lust August 18th, 2005 9:20 PM

I think Boston will win the AL East and I think Oakland will win the AL Wild Card.

Act August 19th, 2005 3:40 AM

-_-' Am I like the only NL fan?

I think Philly might end up winning... people have finally seemed to catch on to the fact that Washington isn't a good team.

Kid Frost August 19th, 2005 10:05 AM

Washington, had their time now its time for the braves to shine

Lust August 19th, 2005 4:23 PM

I hope Washington comes backs and wins it. I also wouldn't mind if the Mets, Astros, Phillies, or Marlins won it.

Kid Frost August 19th, 2005 7:13 PM

Yes, yankees just toke game one in chicago be prepare for the sweep

Lust August 19th, 2005 8:53 PM

Quote:

Isn't that what you said last time? Then the White Sox came back and won the last two games.

Act August 20th, 2005 4:10 AM

The Mets just won game one againsts Washinton, but the liklihood of a sweep is very low xD

Pedro pitches tonight, though ^^;

Lust August 20th, 2005 12:44 PM

I remember when Pedro was still in the AL. He used to always dominate the Mariners.

Kid Frost August 20th, 2005 12:53 PM

Yeah, but i remeber in the interleague play he did horrible aginst the mariners and the yankees took game 2 today 5-0. W: Chacon(1-2) L:Hernandez(8-6)

Lust August 20th, 2005 1:16 PM

Chacon has pitched pretty good for the Yankees. I don't think he's 1-2.

Kid Frost August 20th, 2005 1:22 PM

o sorry he is 2-1 my bad but that lost was a game when we noly scored 2 runs for hi m

Lust August 20th, 2005 1:29 PM

Who pitches tommorow for the Yankees?

Kid Frost August 20th, 2005 1:33 PM

Randy Johnson and Jose Cotreras, i guarantee a win if randy jofn is on his game, if they dont win i will say go you know b*s*o*n r*d sucks

Chase Leader August 20th, 2005 2:01 PM

Wow the White Sox are in a slump, after todays game the Yankees are very close to sweeping the White Sox. I can't say I am rooting for the Yankees but I am most certainly not rooting for Chicago...so I will pick the lesser of two evils...go Yankees.

Speaking of loosing when do you think the Royals will actually win another game...if at all? They face New York, Boston, Minnesota, and Colorado...the road was tough for them but its only going to get tougher.

Kid Frost August 20th, 2005 2:03 PM

No, way man, as you mention they will win a game on september5, i think

Lust August 20th, 2005 2:12 PM

Of course they'll win a game, but only after 25 loses in a ro.

Kid Frost August 20th, 2005 2:19 PM

yes, i feel bad for the kansas city fans, so you guys what are your favorite sports shows

Lust August 20th, 2005 8:28 PM

I love SportsCenter and ESPNEWS.

The Royals beat Oakland!

Kid Frost August 20th, 2005 8:32 PM

Me too i love sportscenter basically espn, and yes  the royals beat okland A's:laugh:

Lust August 20th, 2005 11:21 PM

It must suck being an Athletics fan right now.

Kid Frost August 21st, 2005 12:59 PM

Yeah, but thats good for us cause we move .5 games

Chase Leader August 21st, 2005 6:18 PM

Speak of the Devil...but thats good Oakland lost. I watch Baseball Tonight its awsome, Sports Center comes on right after, but whats the point baseball has already been discussed. Minnesota won GO TWINS.

Kid Frost August 21st, 2005 6:22 PM

So, but this is what i think

1st round: NY Yankees vs. C White Sox= A yankee sweep move to next round
2nd round:NY Yankees vs. Red Sox= We take 4 out of 7
3rd round: Yankees vs. Cardinals= we also take 4 out of 7

Yay we win the world series yay goes to the yankee parade

Lust August 21st, 2005 9:45 PM

I don't think the Yankees will even make the playoffs.

Kid Frost August 21st, 2005 9:49 PM

What hater, thats what everyone saids then when we win the world series they be like o i knew they were going to win

Lust August 21st, 2005 11:10 PM

Yeah, sure. They just don't have quality starting pitching.

Kid Frost August 22nd, 2005 7:21 AM

I know its good supeb but okay

this my report

1. Randy Johnson- this is an old goofe ball, we should had got him when he was freakin younger
2.Al Leiter- I dont know how the **** he here he doesnt belong here( aaron small should replace him)
3.Mike Mussina- the best pitcher for us, most consistent
4. Shawm Chacon- Very good pitching he is good
5. Jaret wright- dont know what to expect maybe a no hitter or a 15 hitter

Note:
this is the originall starting rotation

Randy jonhson
carl pavano
mike "moose" mussina
kevin brown
jaret wright

Mario The World Champion August 22nd, 2005 8:56 AM

I'm glad that Curt Schilling's going back into the rotation this week. He was pretty good acting as the Red Sox closer while making himself 100% ready.

We still got some games left in the season and I'm not making any predictions just yet.

Kid Frost August 22nd, 2005 9:33 AM

Yes, as a yankee fan they should have put sschilling in the starting rotation in the beginning

Lust August 22nd, 2005 10:26 AM

I don't think he's 100% ready. His fastball is only in the mid-80's.

Kid Frost August 22nd, 2005 10:29 AM

he aint ready, but we get toronto at home today

dude0280281 August 22nd, 2005 11:51 AM
