I don't think I need one, right now; too much stress. Almost as annoying as work or neighbors...

You have annoying neighbors? =o
I'm kinda glad I live in a rural area tbh. Neighbors are a bit away and don't really bother me much if at all xD

Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours
With a little understanding, you can find the perfect blend
Neighbours, should be there for one another
That's when good neighbours become good friends

If you understand that reference, then I'm sorry 😅

I used to have annoying neighbors in the appartment below me. They always listened to extremely loud music. My direct neighbor used to love to party with loud music at night. Don't know what he's doing now, considering it didn't happen for a while now. Doesn't help that I'm living in a one room appartment to I can't flee to another room that's quieter. The appartment above me is a family with children who love to run around a lot. Also their father has a very loud voice. The appartment below me was vacant for like one and a half years but currently people are moving in. With all the fancy drilling and stuff. I also think the room right below me might be their dining room. Because I can hear them in the evening.

I suppose, it also doesn't help that I've become very sensitive to noise over the last couple years. I think a lot of people wouldn't mind the noise from their neighbors but for me even the more silent stuff is very hard to ignore. <_<

I guess your life is awful due to your neighbors.I also actually have one,They have 4 childs,So they are always running and shouting.Sometimes,I hear them running during my sleep hours. It's one of the few reasons I'm looking for a new apartment.

Ah thin walls huh. Yeah that's not gonna be fun in an Apartment building. Got any Noise cancelling headphones? =3 Though perhaps they didn't help much either.

As much as I want noise canceling headphones, modern ones all come with Bluetooth audio only. All my devices either don't support Bluetooth audio or they're very bad at it. I've already looked for different Bluetooth adapters that deal with audio but haven't found one that's actually good.

And yeah: Bluetooth and Bluetooth audio are two different things. They use the same technology but require different compression formats etc. Heck, some devices that support Bluetooth audio (like the Switch) don't even work with some headphones.

We live in 2021 and Bluetooth still remains a mess. <_<

ZeoStar October 5th, 2021 9:22 PM

I had a teacher who kept noise cancelling headphones ready for students who wanted to drown out the extremely loud kids.

Apple Airpods? Do you use them only with Apple products? I've been looking at a bunch of them and a major complaint that kept repeatedly coming up is that they don't really work that well with non-Apple products.

Yeah I use them with Apple products only, they work super well. My only time using them with non-Apple was on my Windows bootcamp partition and it won't connect like 90% of the time lol. So I believe that x_x

Apple is a weird ecosystem. As long as you're willing to spend a lot of money you're good to go. But apparently they're very much into planned obsolescence these days. Then again, I never really bothered with Apple products. ^^"

Android girl here. I keep looking at Apple, just for convenience, but they're a bit too locked down for me.

I use a very old Sony Ericsson phone that just keeps on working. It's small, it has an old Android version and it comes with a slidable keyboard. Remember when phones still had keyboards? Or had the option to replace batteries...

Got so used to iPhones despite their flaws (battery life, less customization, etc) that I'm not sure I'll ever be able to switch. iOS just looks so much nicer than Android OSes. @[email protected]

Well,I don't like IOS personally.I'm quite happy with my desktop and android.

I'm on a Motorola moto g9 power since roughly 9 months. Had an Acer smarpthone before that which I had to replace since I mainly use my smartphone for work, and Acer stopped making smartphones so the android version was getting too old. Kinda liked my previous phone, but I've already gotten used to this one so w/e xD
Both have Android.
