I can't complain.

Have you ever repurposed something you'd normally throw away for something else?
For example, I once made my cat a short tunnel system out of boxes from packages.
Or perhaps you made a sculpture out of Popsicle sticks. Etc etc.

I answered like half those question with Neutral lol

Megan March 26th, 2023 8:15 PM

I do that a lot. For example, I used a piece of paper that I wrote notes on and turned it into a box for pens and pencils. I've also used a lot of used paper to create paper cranes when I was still doing these. I've also turned old corn flakes boxes into a notebook, etc.

When did you last walk through a forest?

_confused_piplup_ March 26th, 2023 11:12 PM

I mean, an actual forest, probably two/three years ago. We have several green areas but they can be small. Personally, I am also not much of an explorer. If I want to walk, I mostly city walk and in general when I am on vacation I prefer the sea.

What's the last game you played?

ReKoil March 27th, 2023 8:15 AM

Last game I played in would be Pokemon Shield as I'm currently shiny breeding there.

Whats your favorite music genre?

StCooler March 27th, 2023 4:43 PM

VIOLENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many (but not all) subgenres of Metal, epic music, EBM (which is basically Electro made by and for metalheads lol).

Do you often take selfies?

I must say, I have trouble interpreting those results, your champion pool looks very broad.... You have duelists (Fiora, Gwen, Jax) and champions that love teamfights (all of tab5 and 2, Vi, Gnar, Caitlyn, Jinx), you have invisibility (Viego, Wukong), you have tankiness (K'Santé, Udyr, Volibear) and glass cannons (all of Tab 3 and 4), you have utility (tab 3 and 5). Hard to interpret ^^"

Megan March 27th, 2023 8:11 PM

Nope. I hate my face and everything else attached to it. :(

Do you prefer working during day or night?

_confused_piplup_ March 27th, 2023 11:19 PM

I am pretty much a day person, but I have also studied at night. I have got to say that ideally, I'd prefer night as it's so clam, silent and relaxing. However, I do most stuff in the morning so how can I have the energies to do something at night too? Lol
And I also need to sleep. I also have this tendency to wake up pretty early, even if I had few hours of sleep.

What's your favourite season?

ZeoStar March 28th, 2023 2:30 AM

Winter. Lack of stinging or biting insects and I like the atmosphere.

Do you have any songs completely memorized?

ReKoil March 28th, 2023 8:14 AM

Sometimes I get parts of a song stuck in my head if I listen often enough to it.
I don't think I've ever memorized an entire song.

Do you have a favorite scent?
Like the scent of a particular flower, a certain food or spice, or a deodorant or perfume etc.

Anyway, no. No preference at all. I like lavender scent a lot though. Especially for soaps and similar.

How often do you listen to music?

Sweet Serenity March 28th, 2023 3:01 PM

Daily

Are you an animal lover?

StCooler March 28th, 2023 5:12 PM

I don't love them, I don't hate them. It depends on the level of cuteness and the level of annoyance, I guess XD

Have you filled your taxes?

Nope, don't have to. I'm also not as obsessive about making profit off of everything...

What's your favorite boardgame?

Alex_Among_Foxes March 29th, 2023 1:04 AM

Bold of you to assume that I have any friends to play board games with.
I fancy a good old-fashioned game of Monopoly, but if time is an issue I'll happily go for a game of Clue instead.

Do you have a favorite breed of dog?

ReKoil March 29th, 2023 8:36 AM

Not really.
The only dog my parents ever had was a Dalmatian and I like cats more so I don't have any myself.

Have you ever participated in a food fight or seen one happen?
Huge waste of food if you ask me.

_confused_piplup_ March 29th, 2023 11:24 AM

Never been in one, not a fan of it. I have witnessed one, I guess. It's really just a waste of food, like you said. I also find it pretty disgusting tbh. But teenagers exist lol

What's the last book you read?

Fact Checking Gardevoir March 29th, 2023 12:46 PM

A science-fiction book about long range space battles between big space ships!

All stations! Open fire! ^^

How did your last video game online session go ?

Sweet Serenity March 29th, 2023 3:00 PM

I was testing a team for the VGC format and went on a losing streak. Although losing isn't fun, I guess you can say it went well because it showed me that my team needed major work.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

StCooler March 29th, 2023 6:05 PM

Four.
Not much, considering that I have one for sports and one for walking in the snow ^^"

How many email addresses do you own?

Megan March 29th, 2023 8:03 PM

A couple. One for work, one for "serious stuff" and one for the spam bots to fill.

What's your favorite thing to eat during the evening?

Alex_Among_Foxes March 29th, 2023 10:55 PM

Lunch? I don't think I fully understand the question...
Though I'm the type that doesn't really eat 'expected' meals like eggs for breakfast and steak & potatos for dinner, I eat whatever I'm in the mood for.

What did you have for lunch?

ReKoil March 30th, 2023 11:30 AM

A big old air sandwich as I went straight from breakfast to supper =P

Who's your favorite videogame character?

StCooler March 30th, 2023 5:15 PM

But only in the first three main games, not when he is old.

I like this question and I can't come up with a new one.
Who is your favourite videogame character?

ZeoStar March 30th, 2023 5:24 PM

I'm probably just going to be totally biased and my favorite is whatever I'm currently playing.

Kratos.

When was the last time you laughed?

Megan March 30th, 2023 8:05 PM

Idk, probably before puberty hit. Though, I'm probably thinking of "laugh" as something slightly different than most other people do. If you consider "pushing air out of your lung uncontrollably" as laughing then it's probably a different story. ^^"

Is there actually something you believe in; like a god, deity or something?

ReKoil March 31st, 2023 9:50 AM

What's your favorite dipping sauce?

StCooler March 31st, 2023 5:52 PM

None :coolcat:
I generally don't dip my fries or nuggets or whatever in any sauce, I just don't like them ^^"

Do you know anything about plumbing?

_confused_piplup_ March 31st, 2023 11:09 PM

Chinese food. And before that I bought a cute doll! :D

What do you to to relieve stress?

ReKoil April 1st, 2023 9:12 AM

Play video games. The more violent the better.

What's your favorite section on PokeCommunity?

Alex_Among_Foxes April 1st, 2023 5:50 PM

Though I did originally join the PC to help out in the Trades section,
I'd say Forum Games has become my favorite section due to having more consistently high activity.
(plus I've grown to really like the group of other users that frequent this section)

Why did you originally join the PokeCommunity?

Fact Checking Gardevoir April 1st, 2023 11:30 PM

I originally joined with the sole intent to post some pokédex entries' fact checking shorts... I would never have thought getting where I am now! ^^

Is there something you ended up doing on PokéCommunity, that you had not planned to do at first ?

_confused_piplup_ April 2nd, 2023 12:04 AM

Basically, everything lol. I didn't plan to play challenges, I didn't plan to write articles, I didn't plan to get into ROM hacking lol.

The forum is very big and has a lot of sections, so everything got my interest. I originally joined because I needed friends to talk to and I thought that finding people with my same passions could help. Hence, here I am lol. But yeah, I wasn't expecting most of the things I did here lol, especially because I had never been on a forum and it took me a long while to discover all the sections and get used to them ahah.

Is there any particular thing you'd like to learn?

ReKoil April 2nd, 2023 12:21 AM

Other than being able to communicate properly with people irl, I can't really think of anything.
The amount of misunderstandings irl from my brain just being wired differently and therefore interpreting and saying things in a different way is quite high.

Have you ever skateboarded ?

Megan April 2nd, 2023 12:43 AM

Nope. I never had a skateboard. I had one of these tiny finger skateboards, though. Never really got into that stuff, either, though.

What's a foreign tradition you like?

StCooler April 9th, 2023 2:56 AM

Hmmm, I can't think of any.

Do you wear hats?

ReKoil April 9th, 2023 6:59 AM

Not really.
I used to wear caps long ago, but I haven't worn anything on top of my head in at least a decade.

What hobby do you spend the most time on?

_confused_piplup_ April 9th, 2023 7:25 AM

Lately it was definitely working on my hack ROM project lol. But in general it's either that or music (I haven't re-started playing again, but I watch videos, listen to music and other stuff).

What's your favourite section of the forum?

ZeoStar April 10th, 2023 4:02 PM

Trivia and Forum Games. Off-Topic can be fun, but it doesn't have a plethora of new threads happening right now. Previously I would just make my own, but I have lacked the energy.

How many posts do you estimate to make this year?

StCooler April 10th, 2023 5:22 PM

Around 5-10 per day so between 1825 and 3650 :)

Are you on PokéCommunity's Discord, and why/why not?

Sweet Serenity April 10th, 2023 10:46 PM

I'm not really on Discord that often, unless to speak to friends. I might use it more often though.

Who is your favorite superhero?

Megan April 11th, 2023 2:01 AM

I have none and I've never liked the idea of having some sort of hero to look up to. And as more and more superhero movies and similar media are made my dislike towards those just keeps on increasing. :(

What's a more recent movie you like?

ReKoil April 11th, 2023 6:59 AM

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
I don't watch movies that often, but watched this one a couple months back. It's from 2021 so I guess it counts =P

What's the longest you've ever grinded in any videogame for something? From a shiny in Pokemon to some rare weapon drop in any RPG, etc etc.

Sweet Serenity April 11th, 2023 2:58 PM

I have a shiny Reshiram that I got in Omega Ruby, which took me six months to obtain. The thing is, I have come across shiny Reshiram sooner than that, but because Nature Mints didn't exist then and hyper training wasn't a thing, I had to get a shiny with the right Nature and IV spreads. The entire process took six months. Normally, I don't really care too much for shiny Pokémon, but because Reshiram is my favorite legendary, it was definitely worth it.

How do you define success?

Megan April 11th, 2023 7:54 PM

I'm going to spare you my darker thoughts and just go for something brighter instead: surviving the day! :D

What's a complex topic you took a long while to understand but managed to understand regardless?

Alex_Among_Foxes April 11th, 2023 11:05 PM

The sheer stupidity going on in modern U.S. politics.
After watching both sides of the major political factions beans it so hard over the last decade or so, I'm proud to say I don't support any political party! 👍

What's your favorite movie or game from your least favorite genre?

StCooler April 11th, 2023 11:31 PM

DOOM as an FPS (even if, honestly, it's more like a beat-them-up with guns, rather than an FPS).
Or Dead Space as a horror game, I don't really like horror games, I'd rather play something not stressful ^^"

How is your sleep?

ReKoil April 12th, 2023 8:18 AM

I'm awake... so non-existent atm? 🤔

I usually get roughly 6 hours a night, which is below the recommended 8, but I manage and it could be worse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When did you last visit a museum, if ever?

Megan April 12th, 2023 8:15 PM

That's a long time ago. In fact it's been so long that I don't even remember when and which one.

I do remember going to a salt museum at some point. That was basically in a town where salt mining was a long lasting tradition so they opened one up at some point. I don't remember much about it, though. ^^"
There might have also been a chocolate museum at some point. But I don't remember anything...

Have you ever visited a mine?

To be fair: thise debate basically boils down to "you need as much sleep as you need".

Alex_Among_Foxes April 12th, 2023 11:32 PM

Sadly no... But I'd like to!

What personal achievement are you most proud of?

_confused_piplup_ April 13th, 2023 1:19 AM

I think my high school degree. I mean, I am almost there to get my degree in psychology, so I should say this, but high school was a very bad place under certain conditions. I was often undervalued and at the final exam, when some external teachers came I got higher scores, which kinda helped my self-esteem. I had enough of that place and I studied the bare minimum without caring too much, yet still having some good grades and I got a high score at my degree, so it kinda felt like I won the "high school game".

What's your fav anime?

ReKoil April 13th, 2023 5:47 AM

Gintama even though it's been a while since I last watched it.
A bunch of the jokes went past me as they were referencing Anime I hadn't seen yet at the time, which for the sports anime references still holds true lol. I should probably re-watch it some time now that I've watched a lot more Anime.
JJBA is also great and I loved One Piece before it became so dang stretched out.

What's a country you'd like to go to sometime ?

Given how tired I feel in general I'm pretty sure I'm not getting enough =\

StCooler April 13th, 2023 5:14 PM

Some countries of Europe: Poland, Germany, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Greece, Italy. Also maybe I should visit the country where I am now ^^"

Do you listen to the same music as when you were younger, or was there an evolutoin?

_confused_piplup_ April 13th, 2023 6:52 PM

*looks for Italian wells to welcome Cooler the Slowpoke*

Not an evolution, but rather different eras. One constant is I have never been fond of Italian music.
I have always loved foreign music, obviously not understanding it but appreciating the musicality over the lyrics, which explains a lot of my music taste changes lol.

I remember listening to random English music as a child and I loved Mika. Then, during elementary school I kinda got into classical music already as I was about to enter a musical class. I still have a Bach cd that I used to listen to quite a lot. I wasn't super fond of it, but I definitely enjoyed it and loved to recognize how many instruments as I could. Then, around 14-15, I got into pop, when actually it still had some sort of dance vibe and actual dance music from th 80s/90s. I still listened to some classical.16-19 I kinda preferred electronic music, always without lyrics mainly. I was into EDM but not like super exaggerated stuff, but I listened to several remixes. I wasn't really satisfied with the genre because there was a lot music that I didn't really like. So, it was more like finding a good song and sticking to the fee good ones.
Then I got a bit into hip hop, which is a genre that I really didn't like at first. In general, I still am of the same idea, but it became much more popular and so it was easier for me to approach it. I liked few artists and mainly Playboi Carti, not for the lyrics but for the musicality. Surely it's something particular in hip hop imo. I haven't heard much of other artists because they all sounded the same or it was too rap kind of thing and I didn't like that.
From a year (or maybe a couple) I am back on classical music and there's a lot to listen and to explore. I sometimes go back to some songs of past eras, but 90% of the time it's classical music. I love other artists too like Ichiko Aoba and Wet leg. Genres that never truly attracted me are rock, metal and similar ones.

What headphones do you have?

Megan April 13th, 2023 8:05 PM

I've gone through a little bit of a journey in recent times:
I tried out wireless earbuds that worked on my old devices but only had half the charge they promised (2.5 hours out of 4). I bought some new wireless earbuds (JBL) which have that problem that one of the two is a lot quiter than the other. At least until some random point at which they get as loud as the others. Haven't figured out why. They are also not compatible with older devices of mine which is a bummer.
In general so far I'm not a huge fan of wireless earbuds. :(

I have some wired earbuds (JBL too) that actually work pretty great. I use them when I'm home on my laptop which is too old for newer Bluetooth standard. The wire is also enforced so it doesn't tangle up.

Lastly there's a somewhat newer Sony wireless headphone (over ear) which seem to be pretty great. But they also only support the newer standard so I only use them with my Switch and my phone (at home).

All in all: 3 pairs I currently own. There may be some other ones I forgot because I never use them, though.

What was your dream job as a kid?

I mean, the video game music part is still true. I'm not listening to J-Pop anymore. But that's mostly because I don't really listen to music as much as I used to. I still turn on the radio and listen to whatever they are playing (it's the "culture" channel so a mix of classical, modern and older stuff).

Sweet Serenity April 14th, 2023 1:58 AM

When I was a kid, I always wanted to be famous, namely from acting and/or singing. I wouldn't have called it a dream job though because, as a kid, I never saw acting or singing as a "job," even though it pretty much is. I never had dreams of going to work in a kitchen chopping meats and vegetables everyday for chump change. I'm not really sure what my chances are of me acting and singing are nowadays though, but I still do enjoy singing as a hobby. Seeing plays on Broadway made me interested in acting and the most I've done was acted in plays in my school theatre classes.

Do you pay attention to the news?

Jbsundown April 14th, 2023 2:26 AM

Nope, not since I left my home country! I still hear about important things of course but I don't specifically look at things. Being in countries where I can't understand the language perfectly certainly helps with the blissful ignorance of all the ways leaders around the world like to make things difficult for us all :D

What was the last sport you participated in?

There's always still a chance! Plenty of incredible actors didn't get into it until their later years. There's some good websites online that you can find casting calls and just go and try them out! Go as an extra and see if you enjoy being around the sets at all. Or if you're looking at theatre stuff, try doing a backstage role for a night and see if you like what you see. Then just go to auditions, build up your portfolio and stick with it! Do you upload any songs or something? That could also be helpful for auditioning for more musical roles too :D

Alex_Among_Foxes April 14th, 2023 3:36 AM

Uuuuuuuuuhhhhh............ I guess the last time I did a 'sport' would be the time my dad hit me in the face with a fastball while we were 'playing catch'.
I was like 13 or 14 at the time, I never really liked to play sports at all. (much to his disappointment lol) I also had really bad luck whenever I did do some kind
of activity, like the time I was accidentally body slammed by a dude twice my size back in my old Boy Scout days... Those were 'fun'.

I wholeheartedly second this! I'd love to hear you sing or watch you act a part in a play sometime! Hell, if you ever traveled near my city, I'd crawl out of my goblin cave and come to support your performance!

ReKoil April 14th, 2023 6:28 AM

"What was the last sport you participated in?"
Guess I'm answering this too.

Last sport I played was Basketball, which ended in my late teens.

Do you play any physical board games ?

Megan April 15th, 2023 12:43 AM

Nope. Have no one to play with. <_<

Do you still have a favorite toy you keep around?

StCooler April 15th, 2023 2:19 AM

A small teddy bear that I've had for as long as I remember. He's a bit torn everywhere, I'm thinking about renovating him (yeah, it's a boy) :)

What traditional character class do you choose in RPG? (thief, mage, healer, tank, soldier...)

Oooh, good question. It depends a lot on the game being played. But lately I've been a fan of "monk" style classes, hand-to-hand combat stuff. So I guess I'd pick that? But there's definitely been phases where I play the paladin/warrior style. Rarely have I played a mage or thief though. Other than going for "loremaster" type characters.

What's the first game you ever completed?

ReKoil April 15th, 2023 6:58 AM

Ugh.... trying to remember stuff from decades ago....
Well the oldest games I remember playing were Super Mario on the SNES and Blue/Red on the Gameboy so probably one of those.

Favorite potato chip flavor?
Can't come up with anything atm xD

StCooler April 15th, 2023 5:14 PM

Roast chicken flavour :)

How many Shiny Pokémons have you found (not counting Shiny hunting) ?

A_NICK_IN_TIME2423 April 15th, 2023 8:17 PM

I have encountered one shiny pokemon when i was going to the electric gym in pokemon scarlet a ghost type and another in poke shining pearl when just getting encounters and my question for the next person how many times have you failed to catch a SHINY?

ReKoil April 16th, 2023 1:52 AM

One that I know off. Shiny Golduck in a Safari Zone, Emerald iirc.
Cant help but wonder how many shinies I've passed by in Violet simply because they are either tiny or hard to tell or both.

What's your preferred type of weapon in videogames?
Swords? Pistols? Magic spells? Bow and arrow? Axes? etc etc.

Megan April 16th, 2023 2:17 AM

It used to be sword, also considering for how long they've been treated as the best type of weapon in games. I've been trying to branch out to more interesting choices, though. Haven't really found a favorite, though.

Would you like to live in a castle?

Alex_Among_Foxes April 16th, 2023 2:31 AM

Normally I'd say 'YES!', but I'm honestly pretty content with just my goblin cave these days.

If you could talk to any person, living or dead, for ten minutes, who would you choose and why?

Have you tried axes or scythes? Those can be real fun sword alternatives depend on the game.

A_NICK_IN_TIME2423 April 16th, 2023 5:31 AM

I would choose to bring back Abraham Lincoln from the dead because it would be rather interesting to talk to a dead president and for the next person who views this message would you create your own pokemon fan game?

ReKoil April 16th, 2023 7:21 AM

I'm not interested in coding so no.

Do you ever take selfies?

_confused_piplup_ April 16th, 2023 10:01 AM

By mistake rarely. On purpose, never lol.

Do you nap in the afternoon?

StCooler April 16th, 2023 5:15 PM

I usually do, even at work :)

Do you spend too much time on your phone?

Megan April 16th, 2023 8:11 PM

I rarely use my phone at all. There are times when I have to use it for a phone call and sometimes I use it as a music player at work. And very rarely I use it for reference pictures when I draw something. Other than that not really.

Have you ever had to repeat a year in school?

Have you tried axes or scythes? Those can be real fun sword alternatives depend on the game.

I usually go with lances/spears or bows and knives (your basic Skyrim experience). But I've also not played a game in quite a while where weapon choice actually mattered. Like, jRPGs with turn based combat don't really play any different. Though, they're also usually the ones where swords end up being the best.

RadEmpoleon April 16th, 2023 10:23 PM

No I have not.

Have you been skiing before?

ReKoil April 17th, 2023 1:33 AM

I don't really remember anything from it, but my parents went skiing with us regularly when I was a child.

Have you ever participated in an Escape Room, or if not ever wanted to?

Megan April 17th, 2023 8:02 PM

Nope. And tbh. the only interesting thing about them is the question "how can I sequence break them?". xD
These things are usually a team effort, as well. Maybe if I ever found friends and stuff?

Have you ever tried picking up a very niche hobby? Stuff that nobody "normal" would ever even think about picking up? (like lock picking or taming wild animals, etc.)

Jbsundown April 18th, 2023 12:36 AM

Yes! I picked up learning lockpicking a few years ago. But I wasn't very good at it. It took me on and off for a few months to finally pick my first padlock! I've tried again and I'm better now than I was and know what I'm doing and can feel the movements in the pins easier, but I'm still terrible at it!

What's your favourite thread of all time in the forums?

If you have a degree or are studying to get a degree, what made you choose this degree?

_confused_piplup_ April 18th, 2023 7:10 AM

Gonna answer this to strengthen my idea of following this path. I study psychology and I chose this degree because I guess I like listening to people. I like the idea of helping people and I fin it interesting to know more about this. There are also some pretty fascinating topics in psychology, which made me curious to know more about. I am a good listener and I don't mind the idea of being in touch with several people during the day. Yet that day still has to come and it'll take many years. Realistically, it's a very long path and there are a lot of uncertainties and the future isn't clear at all. Do I regret my choice? Sometimes I do, but I am still pursuing the path.

Would you have done a different degree?

ReKoil April 18th, 2023 8:36 AM

I'm pretty sure degree's are only for College/University, which means I don't have one.

I did got to college for a year and then University for a year after that in a different education/field. Although both those educations/fields had parts I enjoyed, both had too many things I disliked about them and I lost motivation. My grades in the first education were mediocre as I was just not that good at it. I actually had good grades for the University education though.
didn't really help that a lot of those fancy degrees ended up amounting to nothing more than paperweights either, mostly due to lack of jobs in those fields.

What do you value most in life?

Megan April 18th, 2023 8:10 PM

If I wanted to be cynical I'd say "that it has an end" and could just leave it at that. But it also feels like a disservice towards those people who like being alive. I may hate every second of my existance but I can appreciate that there are people who can actually find joy in their existence. Those are the real MVPs of humankind. Always working hard with a goal in mind. Any setback just makes them more determined to succeed. It sometimes makes me almost think about my life maybe having some value, as well; other than "generating more profit for others".

What's a life lesson you learnt that actually helped you a lot?

That 'not everybody in the world is an a**hole, they might just be having a bad day, so don't treat a person as such until you know for sure that they are in fact just an a**hole'.

Do you wish you had more irl friends?

What about us folks who find joy in just not giving a s**t?

ReKoil April 19th, 2023 10:41 AM

hmm... Although the loneliness gets to me every now and then, no.
What I'd want is a girlfriend, but that's not gonna happen. I don't really feel a need to be friends with lots and lots of people so just having a girlfriend would be more than enough for me.
I've gotten used to the solitude though.

Are there any videogame characters you'd like to have merch of?

RadEmpoleon April 19th, 2023 7:25 PM

Too many characters to list, but yes. I love merch of any kind because it's an easy way to show people my interests without having to actually say much. I also really love plushies, pins, and keychains as they are, so having them of my favorite characters is an added bonus.

Do you set an alarm for waking up in the morning?

Megan April 19th, 2023 8:00 PM

Nope. Leaving aside my sleeping problems, I've never had much trouble waking up in time. There have been times when I overslept. But that usually only amounted to a couple minutes.

What's a habit of yours that helps you a lot everyday?

That's just life-affirming people to me. Basically the same like those who actually do care. At least you're not actively sabotaging yourself. :P

I'm just glad they finally announced that Pyra Amiibo. I've been waiting for ages. <_<

ReKoil April 20th, 2023 6:23 AM

Idk... getting up on time? =P
I usually watch random stuff on TV before going to work while I chill and eat breakfast. Helps me wake up better so I don't walk around like a sleepy zombie and build up energy for the usually long day ahead.

What's the longest you've been away from your home?

StCooler April 20th, 2023 5:42 PM

If you mean "my parents' home", six years maybe? Otherwise maybe two weeks?

Do you sleep/wake up at the same hours during the week and during the week-end?

Of course this is my favourite thread, it's one of the two things I've ever achieved in my life :(

Megan April 20th, 2023 8:06 PM

There's usually a 1-2 hour gap between the two. During the week I get up at around 4:15 AM and during the weekend somewhere between 5-6 AM.

Have you ever worked during the weekend?

I mean getting an academic degree certainly amounts to something. Considering that I never even came close to getting a Bachelors degree. ^^"

_confused_piplup_ April 21st, 2023 12:07 AM

I don't have a job, so I didn't. But if you also include studying, then yes and it's almost the standard. At school it was a necessity, at uni I often don't tbh.

Are you more of a morning or night person?

Alex_Among_Foxes April 21st, 2023 12:24 AM

Considering it's 1:24 AM for me now, and it'll be around 6:00 AM when I go to sleep, I'd say 'Night Person' lol.

Have you ever been on a ferry?

ReKoil April 21st, 2023 8:10 AM

Yes. From Den Helder, the northernmost city in the province I live in, to Texel, which is the nearest Wadden Island.

Have you ever hiked up any big hills or mountains?

Megan April 22nd, 2023 2:33 AM

Nope. I don't know if I had the stamina for it, too.

Do you like where you're currently living?

StCooler April 23rd, 2023 2:29 PM

I do. Canada is cute, safer than where I was in Europe, and I feel that winter has made me more resistant to cold (now I only wear a sweater when I'm outside by 2-5°C :) ).

Do you dread summer?

Yes, my degree is the first thing I achieved in my life, the second being my fangame :)

Alex_Among_Foxes April 23rd, 2023 3:14 PM

Yes. Where I live, Summers are hot as hell, and I much prefer colder weather. Plus my dog suffers a lot from the heat, so that sucks too.

What was your longest relationship? (if you've ever been in one)

Megan April 23rd, 2023 7:53 PM

Never had one. I feel like I really need one. But I don't have any sort od social skills and other requirements to get one. It just adds to the pile of self-hatred. <_<
I don't know if ruining a friendship as a result of developing a crush would count as being in a relationship, though. Because I certainly have been in that position. ^^"

What's your favorite time of every day?

ReKoil April 24th, 2023 3:05 AM

Chocolate time 🤤

idk. I don't really have one. I tend to prefer late morning/early afternoon a bit I guess.

Do you get along with your employer?
Or if still in school, your teachers?

StCooler April 24th, 2023 3:47 PM

I do but I don't see them enough :(

How much time do you spend on Youtube/Twitch?

I feel you :(
🤗

Megan April 24th, 2023 7:53 PM

Too much time. I would even go so far to say that it's a huge part of the reason why my eyes hurt so much recently. All the years spent in front of a monitor have finally shown the result. xD
Doesn't help that my job is literally "sitting 8+ hours in front of a monitor", either. ^^"

Are there PC members you'd like to see irl?

Alex_Among_Foxes April 24th, 2023 10:09 PM

Now that really is a question isn't it?... Short answer is 'very much yes', long answer is 'it's complicated'. Not because of anyone here, just my life situation would make it kinda difficult for me for the time being.

What is something that makes you happy?
