ZeoStar March 28th, 2022 4:02 PM

I don't even typically buy official merch. Just not a huge spender.

What's the largest audience you've spoken in front of?

StCooler March 28th, 2022 4:35 PM

At a conference I think. Probably 70-80 people. And it was in English, and twice.

Something positive that happened to you last week?

Starlight March 29th, 2022 8:44 AM

I booked tickets for an artist I have always wanted to see and I had some more poetry success <3

How many times a day do you eat?

ReKoil March 29th, 2022 10:59 AM

You mean you're not supposed to eat chocolate 24/7? 😱
2 meals usually.
a snack in the evening.
If I have any, some chocolate at some point 🤤
I'll just go with 4.

What often do you check PC in a day?

StCooler March 29th, 2022 6:19 PM

Once in the morning, so I can see the likes I got, and once in the evening to complete my usual FG spamming :D

What do you do against procrastinating?

Megan March 29th, 2022 10:15 PM

Nothing. If I'm not motivated to do something I don't get stuff done no matter how much encouragement I try to muster up. If I have the energy to do something then I'll do it. Procrastination really is just a myth created by people with too much power who really love to tell people how useless they are if they aren't productive. <_<

How good are you at swimming?

Eleanor March 30th, 2022 12:38 AM

I guess I know the basics and how to float but I have zero stamina and my posture isn't that good either. :/

You're going on a long mountain trek of several days. Who do you go with?

ReKoil March 30th, 2022 10:02 AM

My parents are too old.
My siblings wouldn't be interested.
Who the heck am I supposed to ask? =o
😭

Spoiler:
So obviously I'm going to have to kidnap cooler and drag him along 😈
Since this isn't Twisted Edition I'll just have to find and hunt him down 😈
jk =p

What's your favorite carnival ride?

ZeoStar March 30th, 2022 1:41 PM

I like the tilt-a-whirl.

https://img.pokemondb.net/artwork/large/goodra.jpg

Goodra approaches. What do you do?

Starlight March 30th, 2022 3:24 PM

Squee and try to hug it!!!

Did you watch anything today?

StCooler March 30th, 2022 5:00 PM

A few videos on Youtube: a gameplay of League of Legends, a reaction on the Oscars, a moral analysis of Will Smith's slap. Probably a few other videos but I'm too lazy to check my history XD

When was the last time you used a pen?

Megan March 31st, 2022 1:22 AM

Not that long ago. I bought one a while ago to write some notes down at work. I know there's these (are these even called) ball pens that you can get everywhere for basically nothing. In fact we have tons and tons of those lying around, as well. But it's something different when you're using one of these ink pens (although the one in question also has a ball tip).

When was the last time you went on the dance floor?

ReKoil March 31st, 2022 10:45 AM

I don't think I ever have. I don't dance =p
I'm also too much of a shut-in to go out to places that have a dance floor in the first place xD

Are you a completionist when you play a game?

StCooler March 31st, 2022 3:40 PM

Most of the time I don't care about achievements, above all if they imply hours of traveling from place to place to find collectibles that have no purpose other than make you waste your time.
I have completed only two games in my life, achievements included (Dark Souls 3 + another one I won't disclose).

How many games have you completed to 100%?

Megan April 1st, 2022 10:58 PM

Backloggery says 49, though it's probably more than that if you consider ROM Hacks and other things I don't list on there.

What's your comfort game?

ReKoil April 2nd, 2022 9:35 AM

hmmm.... not sure if I have a single game. RPG's are great when I'm feeling down.
Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3 & FNV are all strong contenders. The Witcher 2 & 3 as well.
There's a couple dozen ARPG's too... xD

What is your favorite thing to do when bored?

ZeoStar April 2nd, 2022 10:23 AM

I contemplate on what to do in my boredom for excessive amounts of time.

What's a generally popular opinion you disagree with?

StCooler April 3rd, 2022 2:51 AM

Too many.
Ever since I heard about Jason Brennan's work, I now firmly believe democracy is bad.
Spoiler:

If you've been shocked by this statement, it's because you think the only alternative to democracy is oppressive dictature; it is not.

The main issue with democracy, is that opinions are only that, opinions. An opinion is a partial, biased and motivated analysis of what the world is, and what it should be (personal definition of an opinion).
100% of people have political opinions that would benefit themselves, but not the common good. Political opinions that would benefit the common good, would require years and years of analysis, debates, etc. We would need to use scientific methods of experiments / deductions / discussions to get to that point. It would be like a second job. Nobody can do that.
Imagine we're building a rocket, or a submarine, or a nuclear plant, and we're asking the opinion of chimpanzees.

So democracy is not about the best decision for your country (or the world), but rather, which whim is currently the most popular.

Actually in my country, we elect a President for five years, he is chosen democratically, but formally, during five years, he is a dictator, because he won't listen to his people.

Any meal you would like to try but haven't yet?

I reinstalled Skyrim Special Edition recently, along with 60+ mods (I haven't started a new game yet). I'm performing some cleaning / optimizing before I can actually play. I wanted a comfort game for when I'm tilted about LoL :P
Not too many things have changed though. I've found most of the mods I had before, there are still tools to help you clean / optimize the game; fortunately I still remember most of them.

Idk. I'm pretty very oblivious when it comes to food variety. Maybe something made of tofu? This whole vegetarian/vegan branch of food is something I haven't really gone into; mostly because I'd need people around who encourage me to do that kind of stuff or otherwise it'd be just too much work for me to get into myself.

Have you ever done photography?

I wouldn't say democracy is bad. It's definitely not perfect as it requires every human being to be pretty much perfectly aware of what's going on in the world. And given that people also need to stay alive (caring for themselves)
it just won't work out so easily.

People do have their own opinion and they often times benefit their owner. Whether or not every opinion is that way, however, is still up for debate. What is true, is that there is always a sort of group opinion, a ruling code of moral, that is seen as the predominant believe system of a society. It's what people consider good. However, even that may not even be the opinion of the majority of people who live their life day by day. But rather it's usually a reflection of the believes of what the ruling class considers as good (aka traits they see in themselves). In our modern times this is what neoliberalism represents. It's the believe of the individual as the be all end all. It works on the assumption that people only make rational decisions and only do what maximizes profit for themselves. The ideal human being perfected as the businessman/entrepeneur/rational actor.

This has little to do with democracy as every alternative has this very much in common. There's always a ruling class. Be those kings, emperors, priests, scientists, etc. Once you have someone in a position where they have some sort of hierarchical advantage the glorification of that position will begin.

For all we know science my not even be the ultimate answer. Much like religion in the past, science is nowadays just the best answer we got. And yes, being our best shot right now, we would need to use it to the full extend just to get better answers. And yes, we aren't using it to that extend and probably never will be. But that, too, doesn't mean democracy is bad.
Look at what you did, making me randomly write this weird stuff. <_<

ReKoil April 3rd, 2022 10:31 AM

Like, professionally? no.
I take pictures when on vacation, if that counts =p
At home I rarely take any. I don't do it as a hobby, more like if I happen to have my camera on me and see something I wanna take a picture of I will.

How often do you use a search engine to look something up?

ZeoStar April 3rd, 2022 1:45 PM

too much, and it's often very random things. my last search was "do all colleges have fire drill protocols".

Do you like lots of seasoning on food?

Roni April 6th, 2022 3:00 AM

Garlic, pepper, and salt. The only three I need~ (I may go crazy on the first one, so I need someone to watch me while I cook lol)

Would you rather Bluetooth devices or wired stuff?

ReKoil April 6th, 2022 9:39 AM

Only Bluetooth device I use is my scanner for work.
So I guess I'll go with wired stuff.

Do you like any nuts? (peanuts, cashews, almonds, etc.)

ZeoStar April 6th, 2022 1:05 PM

Cashews

Dinosaurs or Dragons?

StCooler April 6th, 2022 2:27 PM

Dinosaurs. The fact that they existed fills me with wonder.
When I was a kid I wanted to be a palaeontologist. I love dinosaurs, I had maybe twenty books about them. Although I prefered the animals from before the dinosaurs :)

Have you ever tried skydiving? If not, do you want to try?

ReKoil April 7th, 2022 9:50 AM

No, and I never will.
You see... me and heights.... we don't get along that well 😉

Have you ever fallen asleep in class/a meeting/etc. ?

ZeoStar April 7th, 2022 1:46 PM

I often slept through classes in grades 6-8. Ended up with multiple teacher parent meetings.

When was the last time you ate fast food?

StCooler April 7th, 2022 4:19 PM

Last saturday. It was a pizza. The guy didn't seem to understand what I ordered, and I got the wrong pizza (it was still great, just not the one I wanted).
And I'll get a new pizza this saturday too :P
Let's hope it's the right one this time -_-

Do you still own anything from your childhood?

Megan April 9th, 2022 5:53 AM

Some clothing, video games, and some other random stuff I don't remember. Doesn't help that I tend to use stuff until it breaks. Though, it speaks for itself that so many things are still doing well despite being so old. Newer stuff on the other hand...

What's your favorite story of any media you like?

Retek April 9th, 2022 8:17 AM

Bone and Amulet in graphic novels!
Moon Knight so far in television!

Are you awake?

Starlight April 9th, 2022 4:31 PM

I am treading a fine line between being awake and being practically a zombie. I'll say yes since I typed this though :)

Do you answer the phone to unknown numbers?

StCooler April 10th, 2022 5:55 AM

Nope, unless they leave a message.

Do you still use your phone to call people?

ReKoil April 10th, 2022 9:48 AM

I'm not sure what else I would call people with, but yes.
Short contact list though... parents, siblings and work 😅

Do you compliment people if they're doing a good job?

Starlight April 10th, 2022 10:00 AM

I try to yes!!! I'm terrible at it though :(

Have you ever broken something in a shop?

StCooler April 11th, 2022 12:51 PM

I only remember one time when I took a box of rapsberries, and the top just detached itself and the raspberries fell to the ground XD
I paid for them though.

Do you back up your data?

I personnally call most of my friends with Discord, on my computer ^^
For some reason I always have issues with my phone when I call someone.

I always do! :D

Megan April 11th, 2022 7:58 PM

I have an external drive to occasionally put stuff on that I want to keep. No fancy cloud service or RAID structure or whatever. I also have acouple binders for all the paper stuff. But does that count as backing up?

Do you watch ads on Youtube or do you skip them?

Retek April 11th, 2022 11:54 PM

I skip them! ;)

Your happiest day so far? And why? :)

ReKoil April 12th, 2022 10:02 AM

The day I no longer had to go to school? =p
School is rough on people who don't really fit in >.>

I guess that was more of a feeling of relief than happiness though.
Guess I'll go with the day I obtained my Driver's license. Failed my first final driving exam, passed second time round =D
I don't know the exact date atm though.

Did anyone ever compliment you for doing a good job? =3

StCooler April 12th, 2022 10:56 AM

Yes, actually a lot during my PhD!

What is your ideal size for a house?

Megan April 12th, 2022 8:19 PM

Not too big to get lost but not too small either. Probably two rooms plus the usual stuff (bathroom, kitchen, etc.). I'm not particularly into cleaning stuff so having a smaller one at least makes that a lot easier. The important thing is that it is located far away from annoying people noises...

Can you whistle?

ReKoil April 13th, 2022 7:39 AM

I can. or at least I could. I haven't done it in quite a while...
Who knows if I still can at this point 😅

Have you ever helped a hurt animal? (or called an animal ambulance or something comparable for it)

StCooler April 13th, 2022 3:05 PM

I remember a bird that crashed to the window in my first house. My mother helped it for a few days and then it left.
We also had hedgehogs in our garden twice, and the second time, we got baby hedgehogs and a mother. The mother died (probably due to the heat wave), there were 6-8 babies, we called the police and they took them to a refuge.

Are you still able to do big additions, multiplications, divisions without a calculator/computer?

Starlight April 14th, 2022 7:45 PM

I used to be able to, numbers were my strong point (I was always useless with letters and words). To answer the question... sadly my brain doesn't work very well anymore😔

Are you planning a holiday this year?

Megan April 14th, 2022 9:34 PM

I never plan holidays. Idk. I just don't really enjoy these types of things. Maybe it's because I'm a loner and doing stuff on my own is not only stressful but also ends up just me being stuck in my own head. ._.

Have you ever been in an Arcade?

You are very good at poetry, though. :)

Hyzenthlay April 15th, 2022 1:47 AM

I have, but just small arcade rooms that were part of larger buildings! I love the atmosphere of them, they just always had this magical vibe as a kid with the sounds and neon lights and games everywhere! <3 Nowadays, I'd probably find them too noisy and germy but still fun to observe!

Have you ever had a day filled with crazy coincidences?

StCooler April 15th, 2022 3:17 AM

It occurred to me, several times, but I don't have a specific story in mind. What I do remember is that I did something on day A for some reason, and this action had an unexpected (but positive) consequence on day B.

Were you lurking on PokéCommunity before joining in?

ReKoil April 15th, 2022 8:04 AM

No, I wanted to complete my Sword/Shield PokeDex and just googled for Pokemon forums.
Signed up on this one and started replying to various threads in the Trade Corner either the same day or the next one. Wanted to see what I could cobble together before making my own thread =p
Once I finished that though... I lurked around the Trade Corner for like at least half a year before finally stepping out into the wider forums later on xD

What did you join PC for originally?

But more specifically I mean jumbled letters like anagrams and such. I also have a lot of difficulties with reading.

I like Pokémon. I wanted to hang out with Pokégeeks :)

Have you ever eaten creal without milk?

Retek April 15th, 2022 8:00 PM

Yep! It's not at all bad, too!

Do you have any happy memories of school?

Megan April 15th, 2022 8:19 PM

Drawing Pokemon in Primary School, all the memes we made while talking about the video games we played at the time (this was before the internet), also someone calling me a friend (can't really say I had many of them).

What's your favorite meal to cook?

Hyzenthlay April 16th, 2022 12:42 AM

I'm quite good at cooking pasta dishes - my favourite is Bolognese! Lasagne is fun, too. If we count baking, then pretty much any cake!

What was the most fun you had in a video game?

Retek April 16th, 2022 3:25 AM

OMG
RDR 2 RDR 2 RDR 2 RDR 2 RDR 2 RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2!!!!!!!!

I CAN GIVE A LECTURE ON WHY I LOVE THAT GAME SO MUCH!!!

Favourite food? :D

StCooler April 16th, 2022 3:33 AM

In terms of "fun", I think DOOM 2016 was the most fun game I've ever played, close to God of War 1 and 2 (the 3 was "meh" and I'm not interested in the 2018 game). When talking "fun" I love fast-paced games.
But if I look at my list of completed games on Steam, I can see that "fun" is not necessarily synonymous to "fast-paced" though. Skyrim, Oblivion, Dark Souls, Darksiders, Tales of Vesperia, wouldn't be called "fast-paced" ^^

What's the worst game you've ever played?

ReKoil April 16th, 2022 12:13 PM

Honestly not sure. I've played a lot of quirky or goofy games.
Some of which were quite bad 😅

I did briefly play Dota 2 however, and that sort of gameplay is just SO not for me. So I'm tempted to just go with that =3
Alternatively, Contagion. A zombie shooter game, with clunky controls and confusing as heck map layout from what I remember when I tried to play it.

Not sure I'd call either the absolute worst, but they were definitely not good imo

Are there any wild animals near where you live? (birds, hares, hedgehogs w/e)

ZeoStar April 16th, 2022 8:30 PM

Fox, Birds, Deer, Rabbits. In the woods so many typical woodland creatures.

Do you have any pets?

Roni April 16th, 2022 10:26 PM

Personally no, but I consider my aunt's cat, and my cousins' 3 dogs as my pets so I guess yea lol

Are you allergic to animal hair?

Megan April 17th, 2022 12:21 AM

I'm not. I actually don't seem to have any allergy, at least none that I'm aware of.

What's the hardest to raise pet you ever had to deal with?

ReKoil April 17th, 2022 5:39 AM

I've never had anything other than cats myself.
As a kid I had to help with taking care of my mom's horses though. A constant stream of chores, blegh.

Are there any foods/drinks you thought would be gross/yucky before trying them, then tried them and actually ended up liking them?

StCooler April 17th, 2022 6:34 AM

Not that I can remember 🤔

Opposite question:
Are there any foods/drinks you thought would be yummy before trying them, and then tried them and actually ended up thinking they were gross/yucky?

Apparently there are bears just North to my city 😨

Megan April 17th, 2022 10:10 PM

I can't recall any. But I do remember drinking sugary soda stuff for a long time, then stopping. When I then got back to it it was way too sweet for my taste and I haven't bothered with it since. (And that was when I was a kid still)

Have you ever imagined yourself to be of the opposite/a different gender?

ZeoStar April 17th, 2022 11:05 PM

Nope. Not something I put a ton of thought into. I'll pick the opposite gender character in games if I like the design.

What is your native language?

ReKoil April 18th, 2022 7:25 AM

Dutch

Are you fluent in any language that isn't your native language?

Roni April 18th, 2022 11:58 AM

English. I'd go as far to say that I'm more fluent in it than what's s'pose to be my native language lol

If you're fluent in 2 languages or more, how easy/hard is it for you to switch languages mid sentence?

StCooler April 18th, 2022 12:23 PM

I wouldn't say I'm fluent anymore, but I used to speak three languages (now I don't speak anymore 🤔) and switching between languages is definitely something you can get used to. However I often had these blank moments when I was looking for a word in one language and found it in another language -_-

You are put into a long cryogenic sleep, and you wake up after 500 years. What is the first question you ask to the doctor who reanimated you?

ZeoStar April 18th, 2022 4:49 PM

Why did you reanimate me from my peaceful slumber

What's your favorite shiny pokemon?

Megan April 18th, 2022 8:54 PM

Celebi has a cute shiny! :3

How do you make sure you don't forget things you want to do?

StCooler April 19th, 2022 11:18 AM

I have several tricks:
- Use a post-it and paste it to my computer (usually for things I need to do as I wake up).
- Make an alarm on my phone (for general things, when I'm not sure I'll have a computer).
- Schedule a reminder email (for general things too, but when I know I'll be in front of my computer).
- I used to write on my hand when I was younger, but of course, there is always someone who asks you what's written, it has become annoying.

Have you ever bought a console / upgraded your computer for a specific game?

ReKoil April 19th, 2022 11:57 AM

Well my previous laptop couldn't handle TW2, and I wanted to make sure my next one would be a lot beefier to be able to handle more recent games.
I wouldn't say I had a specific game in mind, but it being able to run TW2 and TW3 smoothly when it came out was definitely a plus 😇
So... not a specific game, but I definitely went and got a beefier one to make sure I could run more recent games =3

Do you / will you watch Eurovision?

ZeoStar April 19th, 2022 1:05 PM

I don't know what that is...but yes.

What phone apps do you make most use of?

Megan April 19th, 2022 9:36 PM

Foobar2000 for listening to music. I also occasionally use things like Firefox, Discord and GhostCommander. I'm so used to non-invasive stuff on my PC that I don't want to deal with all the ad-infested apps that they try to force onto you on mobile. <_<

Have you ever attended a wedding?

StCooler April 20th, 2022 3:14 AM

Twice; my parents decided to do a church wedding when I was ~15 yo, and a few years ago, I attended a friend's marriage. In a few months, I will attend my brother's marriage.
What's sad is that I can't find anyone while all my friends talk about marrying their partner 😭

How do you see yourself in a year?

ReKoil April 20th, 2022 9:49 AM

Spoiler:
Unless you're willing to lend me a TARDIS to go check, I don't believe I will be seeing myself in a year anytime soon 😏

Pretty much the same I guess. My daily life isn't very eventful, but I can't really complain that much about anything xD

Have you ever saved up money to buy something?

ZeoStar April 20th, 2022 6:21 PM

I purchased my first smartphone from a summer lawn mowing job.

What are you looking forward to?

Megan April 20th, 2022 8:33 PM

Nothing good, tbh. I'm still kinda contemplating my expiration date on the daily. Better then picturing decades full of monotonous work days for...what even? Idk about money. Doesn't make me happy. Work environment is as toxic as work can be simply by virtue of being work under the current system. So there's no way out, as even changing the workplace doesn't really change much in the grand scheme.

I guess, there's always this small glimmer of hope that maybe there is a way out that can lead to happiness? But I don't see it right now.

Do you like ice cream sandwiches or do you prefer something else?

Eleanor April 21st, 2022 8:13 AM

Admittedly, if I can just get a cup of ice-cream or something like that, I'll go for it, but otherwise, ice cream sandwiches are nice! I've been having a bunch of different kinds over the years and they were fine~

How well do you think your Zodiac sign matches you?

ZeoStar April 21st, 2022 9:29 AM

I've never understood those at all. I just can't get into how my month of birth is supposed to corollate with my personality. Unless these are just for fun, but I've seen people take it very seriously.

You arrive on an alien planet. What's the first thing you ask the locals?

ReKoil April 21st, 2022 12:03 PM

Got any Chocolate here? No? OK, I'm leaving again, bye!
Would you mind lowering your weapons? 😇

You encounter a new animal species. What do you do?

StCooler April 21st, 2022 1:06 PM

Send my own animal to attack it. Test the type affinities with the moves of my own animals. Try to paralyse it, or put it to sleep. Then throw a ball at it.
Probably try to take good pictures of it so I can show it to a zoologist. If I can, try to come closer for better photos. Try to use the GPS or maybe leave a mark so I can know exactly where I saw it.
If I can't get photos because it fled, look for tracks. If I can't get any proof I saw this animal, I'll probably just move on and think I was imagining things.

Do you plan to play those forgotten games in your Steam library?

Megan April 21st, 2022 8:31 PM

I have way too many games in there and have a hard time these days to even enjoy a game that I like. Lots of them are from bundles, as well. They're just fillers that I never intended to play anyway. Some of them are probably good, though. Add to that that I prefer Nintendo/handheld stuff and it gets even harder.

It's more of a romance thing, really. People need to cling to something or they go crazy in this brutal world.

Guess I'm answering this too... 😇

At this point I'd need a new computer for the more demanding ones. I could probably still play some of the less demanding ones, but I'm not in a particular hurry to go play Steam games again. The Switch is keeping me busy atm.
Do I plan to? Sure, one day.... one day.... xD

Have you ever gone anywhere on impulse? Like a last minute vacation somewhere?

StCooler April 25th, 2022 2:08 PM

I've sometimes gone to a restaurant / shop on a whim, but I've never been to another city / region / country on a whim.

Have you ever been on a cruise boat?

Megan April 25th, 2022 8:02 PM

I've been on boats. But I've never been on anything bigger than a ferry.

How good are you at keeping secrets?

ReKoil April 26th, 2022 8:19 AM

Probably pretty good.
I always think before I talk, so the chances of me letting something slip are next to none. I can also be extremely stubborn so if someone were to continually ask me about something trying to get me to reveal a secret... sorry, but if I don't want to talk about something for whatever reason, it ain't happening =p

Have you ever spread any rumors?

ZeoStar April 26th, 2022 11:46 AM

Nope, and I don't even think I would know how.

How long do you take to plan your questions in this thread?

StCooler April 26th, 2022 3:22 PM

Probably too long! Sometimes I have no idea and keep the tab open until I get an idea (or skip the thread), sometimes I think about a question during my day and write it somewhere so I can post it, and sometimes I get a question and need to rephrase it or change it because I fear I might upset the next user!

Are you curious about your IQ?

Megan April 26th, 2022 8:30 PM

I'm as average as can be. In fact, I didn't even hit triple digits. Then again, I think there might be different types of IQ tests? The one I did was all about math and patterns and stuff.

But as a result I'm always a little bit upset when people who have a (way) higher score than me call themselves stupid. :(

What's the longest route you've ever walked/driven/flown/...?

ReKoil April 27th, 2022 10:10 AM

Guess I'll go with my 10,5 hour flight to the US.
That was so dang long to sit still in a plane =p

Have you ever returned a present you got for your birthday?

StCooler April 27th, 2022 1:13 PM

I don't think so, but at the same time, I think I haven't got a brithday present for like 10 years!

Have you ever bought a videogame, played less than one hour, and returned it because you already knew you wouldn't like it?

ZeoStar April 27th, 2022 1:38 PM

I never return games. There have been instances of playing for a bit and not picking them up again, but I like keeping whatever I purchase.

Do you consider yourself to be empathetic?

Megan April 27th, 2022 5:57 PM

I have severe empathy problems due to a very messed up childhood. I've been working hard to get better in it, though. So I wanna say kinda yes but also it's still very hard at times. ^^"

What's an obscure thing you like?

ZeoStar April 28th, 2022 7:38 AM

Dragon Quest is my favorite franchise, and it's obscure anywhere that isn't Japan.

Would you rather take a cruise or ride in a plane?

ReKoil April 28th, 2022 9:41 AM

I've actually been wanting to do a cruise sometime... so I'll go with that since i already know what airplane flights are like 😇

Do you look up walkthroughs or lets-plays before playing a new game, or do you go in blind?

StCooler April 28th, 2022 11:33 AM

I generally go in blind.
The main exception being Dark Souls, I was watching PewDiePie's series on this game before buying it.
And if I'm lost I am perfectly fine using a guide.

You earn 1 000 000€ tomorrow. What do you do?

Put it in my bank account. Maybe I could donate some of it, as well? I've never been good with spending money, tbh.

What's a trick that helps you sleep?

ZeoStar April 29th, 2022 2:41 AM

Sounds counter intuitive, but my trick is staying awake. I have to get tired eventually, and the suffering of fighting myself to sleep is just awful. Luckily I've never needed much sleep for function, but for others this may not be the best advice.

What is one trait you enjoy about yourself?

ReKoil April 29th, 2022 9:59 AM

Not sure if I'd say I enjoy it, but I consider patience one of my strongest points.

What do you value most in the people around you?

StCooler April 29th, 2022 4:34 PM

Patience, humour, smartness I guess ^^

What do you consider is the best creation of mankind? (Except chocolate)

Megan April 29th, 2022 10:35 PM

Idk., the wheel maybe? Transportation would be severely limited without it. Sure, we could still ride on animals. But transporting stuff over a long distance is mostly only possible because someone thought a round object can be used to get something from A to B.

How far do you plan ahead in your decisions?

ReKoil April 30th, 2022 11:34 AM

I mostly live from day to day ^.^
Except for a handful of things that need to be settled way in advance, like vacation days or dentist checkup dates.

What would be your dream vacation?

StCooler April 30th, 2022 6:32 PM

Hmmm... I don't really dream about vacation. I haven't taken any day off since January :S
I'd say, just like my usual days, but without the work part ^^"

What do you look for when you buy a new phone?
