Placing a Gym Puzzle in RSE into Fire Red
 
Hello all,

I was just wondering whether it's possible to re-create Wallace's/Juan's Gym ice-tile puzzle from RSE into Fire Red. As far as I'm aware, the tiles from said puzzle can be found in the post-game, and function as they should in the original Fire Red. I haven't checked, but I'd imagine there'd be some kind of script that is used to check whether all the tiles have been stepped on before the stairs to the next part of the gym appear.

My question is, aside from certain flags that are probably used in said script which need to be altered to their Fire Red equivalent so the ROM can actually check the flags without any errors, is it just a copy-paste of the script used in said gyms to replicate the puzzle, or is there more to it? Does it require stuff like ASMs?

The sootopolis city gym's scripts utilize this perstepcallback, which appears to not be present in firered.
You would need to insert all the code related to the puzzle in addition to the scripts.
