I happen to like a few different cartoons. Not every cartoon (I have standards <_<; ) but I'm sure I could add something to the conversation here. I'll join ^^

Squeegee Beckenheim August 3rd, 2005 5:49 PM

Welcome! This is for any cartoon EVER created. I think we should always have something to talk about.

EmeraldSky August 3rd, 2005 6:30 PM

Count me in!

My particular favorites are Disney cartoons and Looney Tunes cartoons

Squeegee Beckenheim August 4th, 2005 5:03 AM

Welcome to our club! I like Disney cartoons too. I especially like the old ones like back in the 50's.

EmeraldSky August 4th, 2005 5:24 AM

I have some Looney Tunes cartoons on my comp...anyone want me to offer one for you guys? (I just have one so far, but I will takes your request to get some more)

Squeegee Beckenheim August 4th, 2005 5:27 AM

If you get one with Speedy Gonzalez in it;I would love to see it. I have not seen a Speedy G. cartoon in years.

EmeraldSky August 4th, 2005 6:50 AM

All right, I'll go look for some...

The Speedy G cartoon I remember the most was the one where Sylvester tries to catch Speedy with a Pied Piper routine (complete with a surprisingly good flute version of the Mexican Hat Dance)

Squeegee Beckenheim August 4th, 2005 6:55 AM

Yeah I remember that one. It was good one.

EmeraldSky August 4th, 2005 7:54 AM

I have some Road Runner vs. Wile E Coyote cartoons on the way...but in the meantime, want me to offer the lone Looney Tunes cartoon I have?

Squeegee Beckenheim August 4th, 2005 8:36 AM

I personally do not have time to watch them today, but I may have time tomorrow to watch them. Sure, send them on.

EmeraldSky August 4th, 2005 9:55 AM

All right, I'll see if I can get it uploaded today

obelisk-kun August 4th, 2005 9:56 AM

can i join .cartons are cool

EmeraldSky August 4th, 2005 11:19 AM

Agreed...and cartoons from the 80's and early 90's are way better than what's on now...

Club exclusive cartoon download of the day: "Show Biz Bugs" (Looney Tunes, 1957)

30-second synposis: When Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck put on a variety show for the city, Daffy is so desperate to be the star, he and Bugs start one-upping each other until the "explosive" finale!

Highlights:

--the opening dance
--Daffy dancing to "Jeepers Creepers"
--Daffy getting sawed in half--literally
--the "explosive" finale! (I'm not telling you what that is...)

Look for the file sometime today, and if you have a request for a Disney or Looney Tunes cartton, tell me!

Charizard_Fire_God August 4th, 2005 11:56 AM

Eeee! Tch! Toons! I owe 'em my craziness! I gotta join! Cartoons pwn! ^_^

Squeegee Beckenheim August 4th, 2005 12:40 PM

Welcome obelisk! Welcome CFG! I love cartoons too!

Tater Tot August 4th, 2005 12:52 PM

can I join I love cartoons!

EmeraldSky August 4th, 2005 1:04 PM

Like I said earlier, if you have requests for Disney and/or Looney Tunes stuff, just tell me!

Squeegee Beckenheim August 4th, 2005 6:03 PM

I'll let you know EmSky. I might have a request for a Disney one.

00Zero August 4th, 2005 6:51 PM

Oh I love flirting bout' cartoomns, may I join?

EmeraldSky August 4th, 2005 7:08 PM

Welcome aboard!

As I promised, here's the copy of "Show Biz Bugs"! Please watch and leave a review!

"Show Biz Bugs"

(the download will time out in a week or 25 downloads, whichever comes first)

Squeegee Beckenheim August 5th, 2005 3:39 AM

Welcome 00Zero! I hope you have fun!

I will try to watch it later today.

Mr Cat Dog August 5th, 2005 3:55 AM

Might as well join, since I am Cartoon Network's #1 obsessive for this board at least :D

Squeegee Beckenheim August 5th, 2005 3:57 AM

Welcome MCD! I know you could probably out wit me when it comes to Cartoon Network. Oh Hold On, you already have!

Mr Cat Dog August 5th, 2005 3:59 AM

I outwitted nearly everyone! And over half the questions were about countries where I've never even seen the channel! My two favourite cartoons are Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Samurai Jack.

Squeegee Beckenheim August 5th, 2005 4:00 AM

I LOVE Foster's! My fav on CN is probably Teen Titans or Billy and Mandy. Who is your favorite imaginary friend?

Mr Cat Dog August 5th, 2005 4:03 AM

Obviously Coco, although Cheese was hilarious in the episode: Mac Daddy.

[Interesting yet pointless fact of the day]Did you know that the UK got Mac Daddy through My So Called Wife about a month before the US did?[/Interesting yet pointless fact of the day]

Squeegee Beckenheim August 5th, 2005 4:09 AM

Wow thank you for that interesting yet pointless fact for today.

I LOVE COCO! I get caught (sometimes) running around doing the Coco voice.

My brother loves Cheese. He is funny, but just a little wierd.

MCD would you like to take a management position?

Mr Cat Dog August 5th, 2005 4:11 AM

I don't see the point in needing a co-owner instead for the need to boost my ego. (Un)fortunately, my ego is fine, so I will decline your offer.

Squeegee Beckenheim August 5th, 2005 4:16 AM

That is ok. Members like the thrill of getting a position higher than everyone else. It makes their head grow larger, but back to topic.

Can you do any imitations of characters on CN?

Charizard_Fire_God August 5th, 2005 5:42 AM

Lol, I can immitate Ed from Ed, Edd an' Eddy quite well... an' The Mask too... tch, usually any crazy or st00pid character that there is. XD

EmeraldSky August 5th, 2005 6:06 AM

Hi new members! I'm EmeraldSky, resident Disney and Looney Tunes fan!

I have a link to the Looney Tune "Show Biz Bugs" on the previous page, if you guys want to download it.

I only ask that you leave a review of it.

Cybex Mewtwo August 5th, 2005 6:13 AM

CARTOONER 4 LIFE!!!

I grew up on cartoons, and I still do! I AM IN!

Current favorites-Teen Titans, ed edd and eddy, Family Guy, Robot Chicken (would that even be considered a cartoon?)

All Time Favs- Beavis and Butthead, Ren And Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life

As for imitations...since Yu-Gi-Oh is part of Cartoon network, I can do Weevil Underwood very well.

*edit* I forgot about Danny Phantom! I love that show heavily!!!

Midori Chi August 5th, 2005 7:04 AM

Me joins! If anime is considered cartoons..Then count me in! I do like other things than anime though..Like Fairy Odd Parents, Danny Phantom..Nick has some good ones and Cartoon Network has some too..

Umm...didn't care much for the old ones..

Imitations? I used to be really good with Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls..

Charizard_Fire_God August 5th, 2005 7:13 AM

OH WOW! Yeah! Tch, cartoons for life!!!! ^_^
I got inta cartoons b/c of Cartoon Network too, tch, I still watch it nowadays! ^_^
All-time favs: Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest, The Pirates of Dark Water, Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd and Eddy, Dexter's Lab, an' last but not least... *drumb roll* SAMURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI JACK! ^_^

EmeraldSky August 5th, 2005 7:25 AM

Today's question: What are some of your favorite Disney and/or Looney Tunes cartoons?

Midori Chi August 5th, 2005 7:31 AM

W.i.t.c.h.
I have most of the books and watch the show when I can..The themesing is pretty good, too! ^^

Squeegee Beckenheim August 5th, 2005 8:36 AM

Welcome new members! I am so glad that you all joined I will add you to the list.

EmeraldSky August 5th, 2005 9:20 AM

Has anyone gotten a chance to watch "Show Biz Bugs" yet?

If you like, I can put the link on this page too.

Mr Cat Dog August 5th, 2005 10:07 AM

Robot Chicken would be classified as animation, as it isn't drawn. It's using stop-motion technology, like in "The Nightmare before Christmas". As for impressions, I can do Coco quite well :D

Squeegee Beckenheim August 5th, 2005 1:31 PM

Gosh the Nightmare Before Christmas scared me to death. I can do all kinds of imitations. I hope to do a voiceover some day. Everyone says I would be quite good.

Merzbau August 5th, 2005 5:13 PM

I'd like to join this club. :3 XD

I just got Nicktoons TV recently...and I saw a cartoon that I hadn't seen in sooooooooo long. THE ANGRY BEAVERS! I loved that show so much. <333 What about other people?

Chairman Kaga August 5th, 2005 5:32 PM

Angry Beavers is a work of art...it created in me the foundations of the sense of humor that now allows me to enjoy Zim as much as I do...this definitely has to be the center of conversation now. What's your favorite episode of Angry Beavers?

Merzbau August 5th, 2005 5:38 PM

My favorite episode...is probably the one that came on today. The first episode with Bing, the one with the Pass-the-Bing party. XD

Squeegee Beckenheim August 5th, 2005 6:54 PM

Gosh I haven't seen Angry Beevers for years. I used to love that show. It was so funny! Welcome PK

Chairman Kaga August 6th, 2005 5:57 AM

I love Beaver Fever, the disco episode...up until a couple of years ago I still used to know the song from that episode XD

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 6:27 AM

Does Angry Beevers still come on? I do not mean by way of new episodes, but re-runs.

Static Raven August 6th, 2005 6:44 AM

Ooh, can I join? I'm more into the superhero-type cartoons...but they are cartoons, nonetheless^^; Static Shock, Justice League/Unlimited, Teen Titans... *Nod*

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 6:48 AM

All very good cartoons. The world would not be the same without Super Hero cartoons! Welcome to the club.

EmeraldSky August 6th, 2005 7:01 AM

Good morning!

Today's question: The one Funniest cartoon you have seen?

Cybex Mewtwo August 6th, 2005 7:04 AM

I laughed my head off when Beavis and Butthead reigned supreme...

(also, Angry Beavers...been a long time...)

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 7:14 AM

I never enjoyed Beevis and Butthead it was so stupid. I am sure that is what they were trying to get for, completely stupid television.

Mr Cat Dog August 6th, 2005 7:17 AM

Beavis and Butthead was a very clever ploy by MTV: imitating two teenagers who just sit around and watch MTV all day. It really wouldn't have worked for another network. I hated it though, I must admit.

Funniest cartoon... Funniest Cartoon ever would be Futurama for consistent humour, but funniest cartoon moment would have to be the dinner sequence in "Frankie My Dear" in Foster's. Absolutely hilarious.

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 7:21 AM

That must have been why I never liked it. I never watched MTV when it was in its high point. Frankie My Dear was on last night, MCD. I loved it! It was so funny. I had seen parts of the episode, but never the entire episode.

EmeraldSky August 6th, 2005 7:22 AM

No, by funniest cartoon, I don't mean the funniest series, I mean the one funniest single cartoon you've seen

Mr Cat Dog August 6th, 2005 7:27 AM

Then "Frankie My Dear" from Foster's, or possibly "The King is Dead" from Family Guy. Both are hilarious all the way through the episodes.

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 7:31 AM

There are so many funny episodes of Foster's. I especially like the one when they are in the mall and Mac gets that big smile when he views the maniken.

Chairman Kaga August 6th, 2005 7:32 AM

The episode "Door to Door" from Invader Zim is the funniest of all time for me. Poop Dog (aka the gangasta specter of defeat) is the most hilarious character EVER on any cartoon. I'm on the floor in tears whenever I see that episode.

I think Angry Beavers only airs on Nicktoons TV now, and I don't get that channel ;_;

And I was six or so when Beavis and Butthead was on so I never got to watch it XD Their other creation, King of the Hill, is one of my favorites, though.

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 7:37 AM

I really love King of the Hill. My uncle can do a perfect impression of Hank Hill and I can do one of Bobby, Hank's son.

Chairman Kaga August 6th, 2005 7:44 AM

I can't imitate anyone from that show, but one of my uncles speaks like Boomhauer, and he's never seen the show o_o;

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 7:53 AM

That is just freaky. Whenever someone naturally talks like one of them it is scary.

Midori Chi August 6th, 2005 9:23 AM

There is this one episode of Invader Zim..it shows this giant hamster destroying the town. The name of the hamster is "Pi pi" So in the background you hear,"Oh yeah......Ultra Pi pi.."

Chairman Kaga August 6th, 2005 9:30 AM

That would be the episode called Hamstergeddon XD Ultra Pipi (or is it spelled Peepey? o_O) Is one of the best characters from that show...people actually die in that episode, and so does the hamster at the end...he's flung into space and destroyed in a fiery explosion XD

Midori Chi August 6th, 2005 9:32 AM

Thatw as so funny!^^ I also saw an episode from Invader Zim where Grr is acting as a bus driver and so he's telling the students in the classroom to go to the bus for a field trip..and he says something about food and then says,"I like food." That was funny somehow...

Chairman Kaga August 6th, 2005 9:40 AM

Room with a Moose? I love that episode too XD Zim is actually planning to take the Skool Students on a field trip into space and trap them in a dimension which is nothing more than a white room with a moose eating walnuts o_O;

Midori Chi August 6th, 2005 9:42 AM

Yeah, that was it! ^^
*message too short*

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 9:50 AM

I have never seen Invader Zim. I never watched it. I have had many chances to; I just never did.

Cybex Mewtwo August 6th, 2005 10:02 AM

Beh...never liked invader Zim......but I do like family guy...which reminds me of the favorite episode of mine where meg gets a make over...and thise two people lit themselves on fire and jumped out a window...XD

Midori Chi August 6th, 2005 1:05 PM

I watch Family Guy sometimes..
I liked the ep where Stewie goes,"Please sir, may I have some more?
Please sir, may I have some more? PLEASE SIR MAY I HAVE SOME MORE?! Now quick, put on this dress."

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 1:12 PM

I never have watched Family Guy. It has never appealed to me.

Chairman Kaga August 6th, 2005 1:16 PM

The episodes range from hilarious to completely tasteless...there are some I'll watch, some I won't =p

Midori Chi August 6th, 2005 1:19 PM

Actually..I DON'T watch it..My brother told me about that, actually! ^^

Squeegee Beckenheim August 6th, 2005 1:31 PM

I have never set through a Family Guy episode in my life. I would not be able to judge someone who does not watch it.

Mr Cat Dog August 7th, 2005 12:25 AM

Some episodes of Family Guy are absolutely hilarious. Others, I don't get because I don't understand the pop culture used in the episodes (being British I don't get the American references a lot of the time). With a few, I just don't find funny at all.

For the most part though, they're hilarious.

Squeegee Beckenheim August 7th, 2005 3:35 AM

I am American, and I do not understand half the pop culture comedy some shows use.

Chairman Kaga August 7th, 2005 8:34 AM

I'm starting to feel old because I get a lot of the references in Family Guy...and someone my age shouldn't because they're all from the 70s and 80s <_<;

Squeegee Beckenheim August 7th, 2005 11:56 AM

Don't feel bad. I understand a lot of the comedy from Scooby Doo, and most of that was 60's/70's. I do not feel old...

I just don't feel hip with the era.

obelisk-kun August 7th, 2005 12:05 PM

realy I like scooby doo the flinstones and the jetsons and those are all old I don't feel old

Mr Cat Dog August 7th, 2005 12:07 PM

Scooby Doo doesn't use pop culture to make its "comedy". Family Guy's comedy is nearly all pop culture. Nearly anyone can laugh at Scooby Doo (well.... I say can, I wouldn't personally as the jokes are corny) but only those who understand the pop culture can laugh at Family Guy.

Cybex Mewtwo August 7th, 2005 12:11 PM

bleh...never liked scooby...couldn't stand any versions except for the ones with special guests like the 3 stooges and batman/robin...

Squeegee Beckenheim August 7th, 2005 12:19 PM

I will try to watch Family Guy tonight. I will see how much of the Pop Culture I can grasp from it. My guess 45% of it.

Chairman Kaga August 7th, 2005 12:53 PM

I saw some freaky spinoff early in the morning one day called Thirteen Ghosts and Scooby Doo...among SD spinoffs, it had to be the worst I'd ever seen, but I was really tired when I watched it, so I don't remember any more of it o_O

Squeegee Beckenheim August 7th, 2005 1:01 PM

Yeah there were a few stupid spinoffs. Most of which very stupid

obelisk-kun August 7th, 2005 1:08 PM

I remember that it was stupid for scooby doo

Chairman Kaga August 7th, 2005 1:38 PM

I've also seen some very odd one-hour SD specials that have celebrity guest stars from the 1970s...half of them have the Harlem Globetrotters o_O

Squeegee Beckenheim August 7th, 2005 3:04 PM

Yeah back in the day the celebs Scooby Doo had were big time celebs.

Mr Cat Dog August 8th, 2005 12:05 AM

I remember when Scooby Doo teamed up with Batman and Robin. I missed the end, but there was something about defeating Penguin and Joker.

Squeegee Beckenheim August 8th, 2005 3:58 AM

Trust me you did not miss much.

Cybex Mewtwo August 8th, 2005 4:18 AM

I remember the Harlem Globetrotters...they messed with the bald one...
"Hey...is that HAIR on your head!?"
"Huh...Where?!"
"Oh. Looks like you vollenteered!"
Feel bad for him...and...did anyone like Charlie Brown?

Squeegee Beckenheim August 8th, 2005 4:25 AM

I loved Charlie Brown! It still comes on in the Holiday season in the US. I enjoy watching them. It brings back fond memories.

Cybex Mewtwo August 8th, 2005 4:54 AM

Once again...I think oposite of you...never loved any thing from Chalie Brown...not a thing...not even Snoopy or Woodstock.....nothing...thought it was an annoying show...the only thing I liked about Charlie Brown was the spoof on Robot Chicken...

Squeegee Beckenheim August 8th, 2005 5:11 AM

Charlie Brown has a big part of my heart. I love it.

Cybex Mewtwo August 8th, 2005 5:14 AM

my mom loved snoopy out of them all...she was a diehard fan...

Midori Chi August 8th, 2005 5:34 AM

Charlie Brown? Meh, it's pretty good! ^^

Squeegee Beckenheim August 8th, 2005 6:27 AM

I am not a diehard fan, just a lover. What do you all think about the Winx Club and Totally Spies? They are shows more reserved for girls, but it is not just for girls.

EmeraldSky August 8th, 2005 6:55 AM

It's a tradition of ours to watch the Christmas Peanuts special every year...

In other news, do you guys have any Disney or Looney Tunes requests for me?

Chairman Kaga August 8th, 2005 7:44 AM

Winx Club is a little indecent for a show targeted at girls so young, it makes Totally Spies seem modest and chaste <_<;

I've always loved the Charlie Brown cartoons....can't remember many of them because a certain crappy network that begins with N and ends with ickelodeon stopped showing them years ago. They were always gentile, clean, and had a good amount of wit for a children's show. And I identified with Charlie Brown because we were both losers ._.;

Mr Cat Dog August 8th, 2005 7:45 AM

Totally Spies is for people too young to rot their brains out with MTV.
Winx Club, I haven't seen before.

Midori Chi August 8th, 2005 8:12 AM

I'm a girl, so I love Winx Club!
As for Totally Spies..Let's just say Totally Spies totally sux..They're trying to make the show like anime..(with the sweatdrops and such) It's not working..

Squeegee Beckenheim August 8th, 2005 8:39 AM

I don't have much love for the two shows. I watch them when I am dead bored, but never for complete entertainment.
