Chairman Kaga August 8th, 2005 9:11 AM

Totally Spies and Winx Club are both european imports, aren't they?

Squeegee Beckenheim August 8th, 2005 9:24 AM

Yeah I believe they are. I think they are from Canada or France.

Mr Cat Dog August 8th, 2005 10:04 AM

Totally Spies! is French-Italian, and Winx Club is just Italian... but they're still crap.

Chairman Kaga August 8th, 2005 11:20 AM

Even if I hadn't already known they were from europe, I would have guessed that they were just from the clothing in those shows x.o

Squeegee Beckenheim August 8th, 2005 1:14 PM

If Totally Spies is French-Italian why is there so much mention of Beverly Hills which is a rich town in the US? Does it change from country to country.

Mr Cat Dog August 8th, 2005 11:47 PM

Just because it wasn't made in America dosen't mean it can't be set in America.

Midori Chi August 9th, 2005 6:40 AM

Yeah...You could be making something in Japan about Germany..You could be in the US making something about Asia..

Squeegee Beckenheim August 9th, 2005 7:06 AM

You are right I just was not sure. At least I asked.

Midori Chi August 9th, 2005 7:07 AM

Yep! ^^

New topic: What's your favorite show on Cartoon Network?

Squeegee Beckenheim August 9th, 2005 7:10 AM

Foster's or Titans. It is a tie. One serious, one not so serious.

Since this thread is near the illegal to post to mark, and I'm not very good at mantaining clubs, I've set up two clubs within 3 months or so apart dedicated to classic cartoons. My favorites are particularly selections from Paramount's Famous Studios, their animation division which intitialized in 1942 after Paramount forced the Fleischer brothers [Max and Dave] to resign from their own Studio. Max's son in law, Seymour Kneitel (1908-1964), along with Izzy Sparber (????-1958), and Dan Gordon (d. 1969) took control of the Fleischer operation and renamed it Famous Studios.

Sadly, most of the properties I mentioned above are mainly forgotten today.

Wow! Someone finally revived this.

I am sorry, but I fail to understand what you mean in that post.
