I'm still ashamed of the fact that I'm more fluent in English than my native language lmao. Being full-on Westernized as a Filipino who hasn't even been to the US once... has its ups and downs :p

ReKoil February 26th, 2022 2:22 PM

I sometimes find myself knowing the English word and not being able to come up with the Dutch word at that time.... feels weird =p

Megan February 26th, 2022 11:17 PM

I get that too. I don't really do much nowadays that involves my native language. xD

Starlight February 27th, 2022 7:23 PM

I can speak fluent gobbledygook. I'm quite proud of that ;)

Roni February 28th, 2022 6:13 AM

What if I gobbled your gook 😳

Mahian23 February 28th, 2022 7:08 AM

No! His chicken will be sad!

ReKoil February 28th, 2022 8:41 AM

Please don't make the chicken cry D=

Roni February 28th, 2022 10:12 AM

Yikes, hopefully that Torchic hydrates plentifully after that crying session :o

That chicken is gonna be real dry baby!

Megan February 28th, 2022 9:27 PM

It's a good way to get rid of your Water weakness. That is, if you're a Fire Type Pokemon. Get rid of all the water in your body and when there's a Hydro Pump incoming you can just get all the water back. xD

Retek March 1st, 2022 6:27 AM

Hi! o/

Eleanor March 1st, 2022 10:18 AM

Getting water back via Hydro Pump sure sounds more damaging than getting it back by drinking it, uh?

StCooler March 1st, 2022 5:11 PM

HARDCORE HYDRATION

I've tried a lot of programming languages but don't feel like I've found one that sticks. C, C++, C#, Java, Delphi, FPC, Haskell, Rust, Python, D, some ASM, a bunch of different shell environments like bash and zsh and to some extend powershell, Ruby, Javascript and probably a couple more that I just forgot.

I guess Python is quite servicable. I'm also kinda tired of looking for a new language at this point, though. ^^"

Never heard of Delphi XD
The worst I've worked with is VBA (the scripting language of Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint). It felt like an incomplete language, as it has classes but no inheritance; however the line-by-line debugger is very nice.

You didn't miss out, that's for sure. It is more usable than VBA, I'd say. But it also feels like that language is sort of stuck in an identity crisis. It just lags behind in so many aspects. Of course, that is in part because barely anyone uses it anymore. It's mostly jus old companies who have a considerable size of old Delphi code. Other than those, most people have since moved on to better languages. Especially since dialog creation (the one thing Delphi kinda does well) has become better in those other languages, as well.

StCooler March 2nd, 2022 6:06 PM

I don't have time for scheming, I only have time to win.

Retek March 2nd, 2022 7:21 PM

You have time to win, but I just took that win now MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Roni March 2nd, 2022 9:16 PM

Strategically posting at a time where PC is mostly dead so I can win for longer~

Megan March 2nd, 2022 9:21 PM

Is five minutes long?

Eleanor March 3rd, 2022 3:00 AM

Time is subjective :)
