Sometimes you click "like" and the site is unresponsive for a few seconds, so the natural reflex is to click again, and again, until you get the visual sign that you liked the post ^^"
That above gif describes my reaction when a thread with too many pages begins lagging.

I noticed that too on occasion. But instead of hitting the like button until something happens, I just reload the page and see what happens. I just like to make extra sure. xD

I don't understand this. I've never noticed a thread being laggy ^^"
Is it because the site loads the whole thread, instead of only the page you selected?

There's only a couple threads where there's a pretty noticeable delay between hitting Post and it actually posting, for me anyway.
The Pokemon Race in PT is one of them.

Laggy isn't a great term for it, but it does basically mean I hit the post button and the page will buffer for a while.
Not laggy as in frames are dropping on the screen.

At a certain point it takes forever from sending a new post to it actually getting added to a thread. From what we've seen so far that's at around the 130 pages mark which is why we end up closing threads and making new ones whenever ours hit that number. PT for example doesn't do that which is why there are a couple threads that have this sort of lag. It's one of the reasony why I don't go into the hangman thread all too often these days, for example. ^^"

You can also increase the number of posts you see per page through settings.
I don't know if that would help with the loading time.

I feel like that would have the opposite effect?
Idk how the forum loads threads though.

I had mine set to view more posts per page for a long time, but I don't recall a difference. Eventually I went back to default.

Ooooooh...
I did notice some delay between hitting the post button and actually posting sometimes, but I didn't realise it was linked to the length of the thread. I thought it was my internet or maybe the server.

Even if it did help the point still stands. You shouldn't need to mess around with your settings just because the forum behaves weirdly in specific cases.
It's most likely a quirk of the forum software that we use. There's a high chance it'll go away once we move to newer software. Once we get there we could even run this game indefinitely. :3

You only lasted that long because I spend half the night playing Xenoblade 3 instead of posting. :P

You should try Sekiro!
Not as good as Dark Souls 3 but still very decent!
Or try Dark Souls 3 I guess.
