Scripting a battle where you don't white out if you lose? [FireRed]
Hey all, just a quick question
Hacking Firered and as the title suggests, I'm trying to script a battle near the start of the game where you won't white out when you lose. I'm thinking something similar to the first Rival fight, though against a different trainer and without the mid-battle text. If you lose that fight, it just continues on with the overworld script as normal and your starter is automatically healed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
This is simply done using trainerbattle 0x9 in the original rival fight script. The script will just continue whether you lose or win. You'll need to heal the party using a command in the script, probably special 0x0
