We actually had Golf during a semester as one of the sports in PE class in high school...
... which was annoying as heck, because we had to ride our bikes quite far away from school to even get there... then spend like 50 minutes there and go back again for the next class xD
Just... such a weird sport to suddenly do in high school imo xD
Anyway it didn't really particularly appeal to me.

Mini-golf can be fun... did it a lot with my family when I was young.
Haven't done it since though.

Fact Checking Gardevoir September 13th, 2022 7:27 AM

I LOVE mini-golf! I really enjoyed playing it with family in my young years!

Megan September 13th, 2022 8:49 PM

240 603

I've never played golf. I think I played mini golf like once in my childhood. But I wasn't very good. There was also this one company trip that involved "football golf". Basically, instead of using a stick you just kick a ball around until it falls into some sort of goal (didn't need to be a hole).

I've yet to find a sports that I actually enjoy, tbh. ^^"

I've never tried golf. I never was interested in it.
I remember seeing a video about the sociology of sports, and I can tell I'm in the lower social classes, because I prefer more "physical" sports (martial arts, fitness). Apparently golf is first a social thing for the rich and secondly a sport ^^"

I used to be very good at golf in my younger days and I'm definitely not from royal stock ;)

ReKoil September 20th, 2022 11:25 AM

Football is usually dominant here on the TV too.
Like this year the woman's European football championship overlapped with the woman's world championship hockey.
Football got aired on prominent channels, even when it was not our country playing, while at the same time our country was playing in the hockey championship, and that got shoved down to some less popular channels.

There was also no advertisements for the hockey championship, whereas football always gets a boatload of commercials.

StCooler September 20th, 2022 1:03 PM

240 613

Yeah but hockey almost doesn't exist in Europe, nobody knows the rules or what a beautiful play is, so you cannot sell commercials around hockey matches ^^"

Megan September 20th, 2022 9:16 PM

240 614

Football is like a religion here, sadly. And whenever I just want to look up some news I have to scroll over the way too big football section. <_<
And currently the section about the queens funeral; even though my country has absolutely nothing to do with the UK's monarchy.

The new courses are all pretty good imo.
The miniature one was fun and probably my fav of the three in terms of courses. It did have the least amount of new mons out of the three though.
The new desert course had some cool and cute Pokemon on it and some pretty cool moments you could snap... once you figure out how to get them.
The river course was nice, but didn't really stand out that much to me personally.

Biggest problem I had first time round each course was remembering what mons I had already seen on other courses lol
Been a while since I had last played it 😅

Yeah, I don't exactly know, either. No matter how many times the series messes with me, I still end up picking it up again. If any other game would be like that I would have dropped that very quickly instead of casually putting over 120 hours into it. In contrast, every other game just feels like a massive chore to me. Like, I recently played a course of New Pokemon Snap and it felt not fun at all. Even main series games are starting to feel that way; let alone all these huge AAA titles.
