fun for all team please rate

Ok y'all here's my most fun team that I use

Vigoroth - Moog
Nature: Adamant
EV: Atk 250/ HP 150/ Def 110
Ability: Vital Spirit
@Left Overs
Yawn
Slash
Bulk Up
Shadow Ball

This is my favorite Advanced Generation pokemon, I'm not a fan of Slaking 'cuz of Truant..I hate that power.
This is my teams Starter, I know it's not very fast but It's pokemon power makes it useful to me, since around where I play
a lot of people for some reason always try and start off my puttng my pokemon to sleep, or maybe it's just on me but yeah.

Altaria - Farore
Nature: Adamant
EV: Atk 110/ DEF 200/Sp.Def 200
Ability: Natural Cure
@Shell Bell
Aerial Ace
Safeguard
Earthquake
Dragon Dance

This is my 2nd favorite advance generation pokemon, it's got awsome defenses and well it's just pretty.
Ocassionaly I switch this to be my started 'cuz of safeguard then I can dance up to be a really powerful sweeper
at which point the shell bell comes in handy 'cuz despite the defenses it does tend to take some damage, I'm considering
just letting it have another Left Overs, so the HP healing will be better. I dunno...

Milotic - Nenya
Nature: Mild
EV: HP 250/ Sp.Atk 250/ Spd 10
Ability: Marvel Scale
@Scope Lens
Safeguard
Ice Beam
Mirror Coat
Hydro Pump

not so much your standard Milotic, but I wanted it's ability to to punish foes to be extreme especially for those
upstart grass and electric types who try and take advantage of it's weakness, this is also my dragon slayer.
This is my absolute favorite water type pokemon, not just 'cuz it's so rare but also 'cuz it's well fun to raise
and it's very powerful.

Gardevoir - Nayru
Nature: Mild
EV: Sp.Atk 250/Spd 200/ Sp.Def 60
Ability: Synchronise
@Twisted Spoon
Psychic
Calm Mind
Wil-O-Wisp
Thunderbolt

I'm pretty sure this is a standard set for a Gardevoir, I know most people like to max out the speed training but I figured
on the off chance that a pokemon should be faster and survive an attack from Gardevoir that I wanted it to also be able to
become a decent special spunge. As psychics go I usually do prefer Espeon but Gardevoir has more veriety in it's moves.

Ninetails - Din
Nature: Mild
EV: Sp.Atk 250/ Sp.Def 100/Spd.160
Ability:Flash Fire
@ Sitrus Berry
Roar
Wil-O-Wisp
Faint Attack
Flame Thrower

This is by far one of the coolest fire types around, simply 'cuz it's so awsome and had a decent amount as far as move veriety.
I'm considering breeding a replacement for it, instead of it being a roar/wisp'r that I'd use it as a sunny beamer, replacing
only those 2 moves, since sunny day would also provide some extra protection agains water types by weaking water attacks
and powering solar beam to make it 1HKO agains both water and rock/ground types so it's main weaknesses would be covered.
but I dunno yet 'cuz this one actually works pretty well as it is.

Ludicolo - Puck
Nature: Modest
EV: HP 252/Sp.Atk 252/Spd 6
Ability: Rain Dish
@Left Overs
Suf
Protect
Rain Dance
Leech Seed

This thing is utterly annoying is so funny how mad people I battle get when I pull him out.
I let it have one attack on the off chance that the rest of the team gets wiped out.
I prefer leech seed over toxic as my support attack because it keeps with it's ability to replenish it's own HP.
I guess this is a fairly standard ludicolo, but hey if it ain't broke don't fix it.

This is my fun all around battle team, it's generally my preference to build theme type teams, this follows
no specific theme but it's still just a fun team with pokemon that I happen to like a lot.
I think I would have probably prefered to use Sceptile instead of Ludicolo but I think I'd only do that
if I do happen to switch out my Ninetails for the on sunny beamer ninetails, I just don't like that I haven't figured out
how to get a sceptile with both crunch and leech seed, ...I like that move a lot.
anyway, so yeah rate my team, any suggestions u may have a welcome.

One question: Is this for NetBattle? This is important, because custom Hidden Powers and certain hold items are hard to get in-game which I'll recommend, but anyway, comments in bold.

Slaking is waaaaaayyy better than this. With a little prediction and the right support, it can really be a problem for most teams. Anyway, if you are going to use Vigoroth instead of Slaking on your team, then 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 in whatever you want, @Choice Band, and replace Slash with Return, Yawn with Focus Punch, and Bulk Up with any other type physical attack. It will get OHKO-ed before it could setup, and Yawn is just lol on this.

Altaria - Farore

Why Safeguard if it has Natural Cure?? Hidden Power Flying > AA (if this is for NetBattle, otherwise Aerial Ace will be ok if it's in-game) and Rest > Safeguard IMO. Needs more @Leftovers btw.

Milotic - Nenya
Nature: Mild
EV: HP 250/ Sp.Atk 250/ Spd 10
Ability: Marvel Scale
@Scope Lens
Safeguard
Ice Beam
Mirror Coat
Hydro Pump

Why do I always see Milotics with either Lum berry, Refresh or Safeguard? -_-
Hypnosis > Safeguard and you need to keep it alive, so Recover is a MUST over Mirror Coat. Scope Lens sucks btw, so @Leftovers is the way to go imo. 196 hp / 252 Def / 4 Spd / 56 SAtk and Bold Nature. It's not a sweeper, it's rather a tank.

Gardevoir - Nayru
Nature: Mild
EV: Sp.Atk 250/Spd 200/ Sp.Def 60
Ability: Synchronise
@Twisted Spoon
Psychic
Calm Mind
Wil-O-Wisp
Thunderbolt

What is that Twistedspoon on it? 10% move boosting items suck. @Leftovers or Salac berry. The moveset looks ok. EVs: 176 HP / 154 Def / 20 Spd / 160 SAtk. Modest Nature.

Ninetails - Din
Nature: Mild
EV: Sp.Atk 250/ Sp.Def 100/Spd.160
Ability:Flash Fire
@ Sitrus Berry
Roar
Wil-O-Wisp
Faint Attack
Flame Thrower

lol Faint Attack. Grudge > Faint Attack and Hypnosis > Roar. You have WoW on Gardy, so Confuse Ray > WoW. It only needs 140 Speed, though with Timid nature. Lots of hp EVs; around 200, lots of SDef EVs as well, and put only a few ones in SAtk. @Leftovers is way more useful than Sitrus berry.

Ludicolo - Puck
Nature: Modest
EV: HP 252/Sp.Atk 252/Spd 6
Ability: Rain Dish
@Left Overs
Suf
Protect
Rain Dance
Leech Seed

Stallicodo? This will ask Heracross to come in and OHKO it. Seriously, Swift Swim > Rain Dish, Ice Beam > Protect and lots of SDef EVs, less HP EVs, 96 Spd EVs and put everything left in SAtk. Modest Nature.

This is my fun all around battle team, it's generally my preference to build theme type teams, this follows
no specific theme but it's still just a fun team with pokemon that I happen to like a lot.

Not that bad, but the items, moves, EVs, natures are a bit messed up.
Well, I hope this will help.

Ice demon August 29th, 2005 12:43 PM

Altaria[calm]@leftovers
EVs - get at least 240 Sp and place alot into SpAtt,rest in hp
dragon claw
fire blast
rest
sing/haze

better than the DD set IMO
Rest works with natural cure.
