OK, A.coz, tell me another effective physical wall that Spikes and phazes and another special wall that can heal statuses.

OK. Skip to the last two paragraphs if you don't feel like reading a lot of pointless garbage that took me too long to type and I don't feel like deleting.
There are too many counters out there now. And neither one can deal much damage. That would leave a lot of teams with only 4 pokemon that can deal damage, if you choose pokemon that can actually do so. If you choose another support pokemon, your foe really only has to take down three pokes to win. Does it sound kinda n00bish? The idea of having too few attackers? I'm not saying anyone should use a team of all out sweepers. But I am saying that most pokes can take Skarm's Drill Peck, and Blissey won't be doing much to anything that can heal itself with ST. Whenever you switch to other pokes, you have a chance of losing one. If you wanted to keep them all perfectly safe you would just use Skarm and Bliss, which isn't possible and still win, as there are SkarmBliss counters. Plus, as previously stated they can't do much to a team damage-wise. Eventually, after all of your stalling with this duo, you'll come out victorious, as your foe kept getting walled, or you'll lose, with Skarm and Bliss being your last two pokemon. Imo, even walls should be able to attack in case of being your last poke. For example, Regice has 100 base SAtk. Sure, Skarm and Bliss can attack, but they aren't gonna get KOs. Skarm is great, imo. It Spikes, PHazes, and walls physical attacks while it's at it. And there's not much else that can even try to P.Wall as effectively. Bliss just prolongs the battle. It can't do much to help your team, as all it does really is sit there and suck up Sp.atks. It's not dealing any substantial damage in return (unlike some Sp.walls I can think of *coughRegiceandSnorlaxcough*), and although it clerics, other stuff can do that, too. OK. I'll admit. I exaggurated a lot of the points in this. I tend to that do that sometimes. But it's true that there are a lot of counters out, and with my experience with Bliss, it doesn't do anything but take up space. I was actually commenting on the fact that Husk1442 said you had a SkarmBliss weakness. It's really just Bliss that I think is overrated, not Skarm, actually, thus making SkarmBliss overrated, as well, in my eyes. Your team, I can tell, is meant to stall, etc. Switch to junk that can handle stuff a lot and occasionally deal a large amount of damage with Hera, bringing Cune out after they lose their (P)Hazer to sweep the team. etc. etc. Keeping them switching into the Spikes if they want a chance of taking down one of your pokes, causing great pain over time. I actually think it works with your style of team. But in a team meant more to be 'used,' Blissey has never seemed to benefit it from my experience. |
you've never used a stall team have you, A.coz? Bliss is pretty freakin' needed. there is NOT a better special wall, and there isn't much that bells better.
|
You obviously didn't read my post. If you had even read the first two sentences you'd know that the last paragraph was all that mattered.
