Shiny eevee

I'm looking for a shiny eevee. I've already hatched 171 eggs of eevees in my Emerald. Should I continue to hatch or should I go to my leafgreen and keep on restarting while in celadon seeing if its shiny?

Its your choice, whtever you want to do.

Simon September 24th, 2005 12:54 PM

It'd be much easier to do it in Celadon.

Everything about an egg is determined the moment you get the egg itself, not when it hatches, so reloading to rehatch the egg would be pointless.

Carry this over to the Shiny Pokemon Discussion, please.

I want one to, would it work if you saved just before it hatches check if its shiney, if not. turn off then on and check again, would that work. If it does, tell me lol i want one 2, i have hatch about 7 boxs worth off eevee's and my ruby cart only has eevee's on it, cause i hate realising pokemon,-_-'' i have a load on box as well

*points to my previous post*

It wouldn't work. Everything about the Pokemon inside the egg: IVs, nature, gender, and shinyness are all decided the moment you get the egg itselg from the Old Man. Rehatching it would get you the same result each time.

ive wasted about two months then T_T

i dont think getting the one at celedon would work , re-getting it in all -_-''

Of course the one in celadon would work, its just like soft-reseting in front of the starters, and i believe that way its easier, I would suggest you to try the one Celadon.

I would go for Celadon because hatching a single egg takes about 25mins and it wastes a lot of box space. Getting an Eevee, checking, restarting takes about 30 seconds.
