Wallace & Gromit

Those of you that have seen it I hope you agree it's the best animated series ever. It's just really funny. Which one is your favourite. Those of you that haven't seen it stop looking at me weird & go & buy the DVD.

Cybex Mewtwo October 17th, 2005 7:47 AM

Man oh MAN they are hilarious! ^^ The Wrong trousers (i think that was it's title...) was my fav.

viridian doubletongue October 18th, 2005 6:34 AM

Has anyone seen the newest one it's probably the best yet.

Cybex Mewtwo October 18th, 2005 7:09 AM

The Were-rabbit seems interesting enough.

Pete October 18th, 2005 7:34 AM

WALLACE AND GROMIT IS AWESOME!!

Good Points

It has the best theme tune. EVAR
Gromit is the coolest mute thing in the world. Closely followed by the other mutes.
All the other good things....

BAD THINGS

None(and unless they change the theme tune or give Gromit speech, there never will be)

Anyway,...The Were-Rabbit is the best one. Its rated U, but has a really explicit and 18 rated subtle touch near the end. it is the best film I have seen all year. 96/100 and its the best stop-frame animated film made, and if you stick CGI into the mix it would still win.

Second Prize-A Close Shave. Shawn and the newspapers. Nothing more to say.

NOW....I'll change my sigg.

Hinoshi-chan October 18th, 2005 7:39 AM

wallace and gromit are cool! i love the penguin =3 , that thing was mental!

Gotta love the cheese moon!

i was upset to se the building to go up in flames though -_-

gotta love the english humor XD

viridian doubletongue October 18th, 2005 9:59 AM

In order of goodness,
1. The Curse of the Wererabbit.
2. A Close Shave.
3. The wrong trousers.
4. A Grand Day out.

About that "may contain nuts" thing at the end of wererabbit thats an innuendo that only people who are mature enough to understand will get it.

saint jimmmey October 18th, 2005 10:29 AM

rock on wallace&gromit

if they added cgi in it would wreck it.
the whole point of wallace&gromit is that they are made of plasticine.
there are so many films that use cgi that no one appreciates the work that goes on in ardman animations.
and yep it does have the best theam tune EVE.FULL STOP.

my bro picked that up hes 8

XD
awesome film
all of them
THE DOG FIGHT PART OWNED :P

viridian doubletongue October 19th, 2005 6:32 AM

I stand corrected.

I can play the theme tune on my trumpet at home. & it would lose it's touch if it was CGI. The way they move & their mannerisms just couldn't be achieved with it.

Pete October 19th, 2005 7:14 AM

Hey, I didn't say make it into CGI. But it's better than any CGI film. You get my drift now?

viridian doubletongue October 20th, 2005 6:55 AM

I understood but I was just commenting in the whole idea of stop motion versus CGI.

Recknin October 20th, 2005 10:19 AM

never watched it but by the posts it sounds funny

Rhykasho October 20th, 2005 11:06 AM

Wallace and Gromit pwrns, Ill be watching the curse of the wererabbit tomorrow ^^

MegaFuz October 20th, 2005 2:53 PM

LOL. My girl friends made me go see Were-Rabbit the opening weekend and now I'm hooked. I did watch it on TV back in the day, but I had forgotten how friggin sweet they were. :P

Kinzu_kiwi October 21st, 2005 12:28 AM

Yay!!!! wallace and gromit is really so cool! But do you realise how long it takes them to make that stop-motion stuff? they have to do a day of work to do like, 2 seconds! the creator guy says he's glad he had a sense of humor for it, if he didn't have a sense of humour he'd have gone insane.

viridian doubletongue October 21st, 2005 1:14 AM

Isn't it weird how Wallce always shakes his hands in front of his face when something happens. Like when he says.

"Crackers Gromit. We've Forgotten the Crackers!"

Kylie-chan October 21st, 2005 1:51 AM

I *love* that line. :D

I went and saw Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit. It was quite funny. ^_^ And yeah, Kinzu... I'd go nuts, too... X________x;

MegaFuz October 21st, 2005 1:47 PM

Yeah, I was aware of how long it takes. That, I think, makes it that much better because I have a lot of appreciation for their hard work.

pokemaster7 October 21st, 2005 2:06 PM

i yousally like wallace and gromit but this one was disapointing

viridian doubletongue October 22nd, 2005 9:06 AM

I disagree, why would it be disappointing. To me the new one seemed just as good if not better than the others. & the hutch character is really original.

pokemaster7 October 23rd, 2005 7:05 AM

hmm. i realy hated the plot in my opinion

viridian doubletongue October 23rd, 2005 8:00 AM

Well think about it. The plot in the last three is absolutely stupid aswell but that's why there so funny. The first one a cheese obsessed inventor & his intelligent dog decide they are going on a day trip to the moon, because the've run out of cheese on a bank holiday. Bonkers or what?

AngelWolfie October 23rd, 2005 3:15 PM

HEHE! I saw Curse of the Were Rabbit, it was HILARIOUS! I loved the part with the box that said 'May Contain Nuts'. Hutch creeped me out, because he looked like a deranged chimp or something, but he was still funny ^^ And the were-rabbit just seemed adorable X3
