Concerning Game Saves and the Like.

Okay, I got a problem.
On holiday I took Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Fire Red with me - unfortunately I lost them, along with 4 other games. I had 200 hours on Ruby and my prized Colosseum Pokemon on it - including a most awesome Mewtwo. And to be honest, I want them back.

As I know it is impossible to retrieve such stuff again, I thought I might make use of the wonderful saves provided on this site to recover the most I can (ones without cheat preferably). I am willing to buy just a cartridge off of Ebay.co.uk but I want to know what else I need to purchase to get my saves back - if it is possible. So I ask the following.

1. Am I able to get saves from this site onto a brought cartridge?

2. If so, what do I need to do this?

3. Are the US saves on this site compatible with European cartridges?

I really want those saves back, mostly for future games. Thanks - any help is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks again. :3

You can't get the saves back. Even if you bought a new cartridge. Sorry.

You could buy a flash cart, write your pokemon game onto it with a rom, download a save from gamefaqs.com, use VBA, and save it. It's just too much.

There goes 200 euros into nothing, I feel really sorry for you. Game cartridges are pretty expensive. I don't think it's possible to load saves on a cartridge. The easiest way to recover thos pokemon would probaly be downloading a save on a rom and write the game on the cartridge like bna_li said.

That's the only way I know, there might be others.

What a terrible situation for you, I am so sorry to hear that. However, once the save file goes poof it is poof there is no return. You could do what bna_li suggested, but that does sound a bit complicated.

The question could have been asked in Simple Questions. The link for Simple Questions is in my sig and in the group of stickies at the top of the R/S/E (GBA) section.
