So... the clock stopped...

In my emerald game, the clock stopped, now, I've been playing this game for a while, but how would I go about starting it up again?

Do the linking thing... it's somewhere around here, the part about how to fix that.

That may be caused by one of two problems.

This occurs when there is a problem with the internal battery of the Pokémon game pak that regulates the clock feature of the game. For the most part, other than a few minor events, this will not affect game play, nor will there be any loss of saved data. The save info is preserved in the game's memory chip, not the battery. To repair the issue, the game must be replaced, which will result in a loss of all of save data. If you are still concerned about this issue, and are interested in replacing the game, please call our Consumer Service Department at 1-800-255-3700.

So as you can see...if your internal battery has run dry, you'll have to replace the battery, which will also result in the loss of your file. You don't have to replace the battery though. You can continue playing without any major issues.

The other would involve the berries not growing...

In Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, certain berry trees will stop producing berries after you've played your game for one year. All main game play activities, such as collecting and battling Pokémon, are not affected. If you want to keep the berries growing after a year of game play, please use the information below to find out how to update your game pak.

How do I get the Berry Update?
There are six different ways to make sure that your berry patches never dry up.
Add Jirachi to Your Team from your Bonus Disc
If you received the Bonus Disc that was available from participating retailers during the pre-sell of Pokemon Colosseum, you might be surprised to know that it contains a special gift -- Jirachi! You will automatically receive the berry patch upgrade when you use a Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable to transfer Jirachi to your Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire Game Pak.

Play Pokémon Colosseum
You'll automatically receive the berry patch upgrade by using one of the connective features when you link Pokémon Ruby or Pokémon Sapphire to Pokémon Colosseum using a Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable.

Connect to Pokémon Box
You'll automatically receive the berry patch upgrade by linking Pokémon Ruby or Pokémon Sapphire to Pokémon Box using a Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable.

Connect to Pokémon FireRed, Pokémon LeafGreen, or Pokémon Emerald
You'll receive the berry patch upgrade by linking Pokémon Ruby or Pokémon Sapphire to Pokémon FireRed, Pokémon LeafGreen, or Pokémon Emerald using a Game Boy Advance Link Cable. Once they are connected, power on the "1P" system. When the Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen title screen appears, hold down the B Button and SELECT, then follow the instructions that appear on-screen.

Send it in
If the above options are not convenient, and you live in the U.S. or Canada, please call 1-800-255-3700 for instructions on sending your Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire Game Pak to Nintendo. Our technicians will upgrade the game for you.

Just follow those directions if your berries have stopped growing.

Simon has given you an extremely complete answer. Follow those instructions and I am sure you will solve your problems.

If you have any more problems or questions ask them in Simple Questions. The link is forever in my sig and found in the group of Stickies at the top of the R/S/E (GBA) area page.
