YGO: Power of the Zombiez
K, here's my deck... it probably doesn't comply with the Advanced or Traditional Format of the game, but its simply for fun to mess with the neighbourhood kids a liitle.
Monster Cards: 17 Despair From the Dark x2 Ryu Kokki Vampire Lord x2 Regenerating Mummy x2 Tribe Infecting Virus Breaker- The Magical Warrior Pyramid Turtle x3 Fiber Jar Sinister Serpent Spirit Reaper x 2 Magician Of Faith Monster Lowdown: Despair From the Dark is my 2800 ATK finisher, with Ryu Kokki and Vampire Lord special summoned via Pyramid Turtle. The Regenerating Mummys are there because I like the effect, and a 1800 attacker isn't bad at all. Tribe Infecting Virus and Sinster Serpent are a perfect combination. Discard Sinister Serpent by Tribe Infecting Virus... SS comes back to be re-used. Magician of Faith does what it normally does in any deck, and Spirit Reapers are good stallers. Breaker destroys one Spell or Trap at a mere 300 ATK/ Spell Counter. Then Fiber Jar is a game reseter. Very nice card to have. Spells:18 Scapegoat Mystical Space Typhoon x2 Pot of Greed Nobleman of Crossout Heavy Storm Monster Reborn Book of Life x3 Creture Swap Swords Of Revealing Light Change of Heart Snatch Steal United We Stand Mirage of Nightmare Call of the Mummy x2 Spell Lowdown:Scapegoat is a staller for a few turns. Mystical Space Typhoon does it's job by being able to destroy an oponents card during an End Phase! Pot of Greed and Nobleman of Crossout are basic for almost any deck kind. Book Of Life does the same thing as Monster Rebon, but it's able to remove a monster in your opponent's graveyard from play. I find that cool. Then there's nothing more fun than taking your opponent's best monster with Creature Swap, then giving them a Sheep Token. Snatch Steal takes a monster, along with Change of Heart, mainly for baiting. United We Stand is the best Equipment Spell card in the game. Mirage of Nightmare thins my deck for needed cards to put in the graveyard for book of life. Then call of the Mummy. Got no monsters on the field? Play this card, and instantly have a Despair from the Dark on your first turn! Then Swords is a staller. Thats it. Traps:6 Mirror Force Ragikei Break x2 Tutan Mask Ring Of Destruction Call of The Haunted Trap Lowdown: Mirror Force's placement is easy to understand. Ragieki Break works like TIV, except it can destroy my Mirage of Nightmare. ^_^ Tutan Mask helps my Zombie's out a lot, while Call of the Haunted Brings back even more zombies. Also Ring is a game winner. Someone summons a powerful monster, use it... KO for your opponent. Total: 41 cards |
Ah, Raigeki Break and Mirage of Nightmare, you mean the Typhoon of Nightmare(orignal name of the combo with Mystical Space Typhoon). Dust Torando is better because it's costless and close to Mystical Space Typhoon.
Either format,Mystical Space Typhoon is restricted to 1. Your deck looks more avdenced format. |
More Advanced Format? There are 8 banned cards in that deck.:\

That's really lol. Advanced Format is so much better, like I stated in that other thread.:\

Well sorry if it seemed like it. *edits deck* |
Well, I could replace Fiber Jar with Cyber Jar, Mirror Force with Torential Tribute, but I can't replace Change of heart, Breaker, Serpent or TIV...

Hmm, I see... but by the time you get a strong monster via Pyramid Turtle, your opponent will have field advantages... :/

What do you mean exactly? |
That deck.............
It looks alot like mine............. but I use more DARK than the usual ZOMBIE cards....... |
Fixes in Bold.

Zaikiro, I was just saying that it was funny that you said at least the deck doesn't have all 23 banned cards. Use my modifications on Zaikiro's build for the deck. |

Anyway...I'll just fix from this one, since it's the best one yet... -1 Giant Rat (Giant Rat + 3 turtles + 2 books = overkill) -1 stand-alone Vampire Lord -1 Confiscation (personal preference) -1 Lightning Vortex (you'll usually be topdecking pretty fast with all the special summoning in here) -1 Ceasefire/Tutan Mask +1 Ryu Kokki +2 (Vampire Gene....just kidding!!) Call of the Mummy (or +1 Book of Life and +1 Magic Cylinder) ...Brings it down to 40...good luck! |

Mullet, I noticed. To ne honest Trainer Marco, either of these decks are better than the one I posted.(exculding the 3rd Vamipre Lord), It's your choice to choose what to run though. Either deck will do great. |

IMHO, on top of Mullet's change on Zaikiro's change...
-1 Scapegoat As if the spirit reapers and the defensive traps aren't enough stalling? Plus zombie's ability to special summon+swarm shouldn't give you too much good time to use scapegoat anyway. -1 Tsukuyomi I just don't see how the zombies will benefit that much from flipping something facedown. Tsukuyomi is good, but it's not for every deck. Zombies need to further increase their speed in battle in order to match those of arrgo/beatdown/anything+cyber dragon. -1 Lightning Vortex As mentioned, Vortex burns resources, and zombies can drain that pretty quickly already. -1 Despair from the Dark +1 Ryu Kokki I'll rather have something that I know I can summon (and easily), rather than have a dead draw to wait for it to be discarded. Despair from the Dark loses its charm since Delinquent Duo got banned, and you cannot purposely throw it away so it'll be summoned. Not like enemy will use Confiscation to ask your DotD to come out anyway. -1 Exiled Force This is not Tribe... you can't just throw him in a deck and expect it to work like tribe. Without recursion to reuse him, or millions of search cards to call this guy like a proper warrior deck, his 1-for-1 tradeoff isn't that good of an effect. -1 Night Assailant Flip-destroy is only like Man-eater bug, and man-eater bug is no longer played for a reason. The other part of Night Assailant is very helpful, but for this deck where the only other flip monster is Magician of Faith, I'll put this card away... Just like despair from the dark, without the dump cards (graceful charity), its effect is just unlikely to work now. Other decks which uses magical merchant should definitely try Night Assailant though to get back merchant again or magician of faith. There... down to 40 at last. I'm personally not so keen on the creature swap and will rather add in another D.D. Assailant along with a smashing ground. *Frosty's YGO Official New Paranoia: Cyber Dragon* -therefore, all of Frosty's deck advice will be completely geared towards how to minimize the destruction of triple Cyber Dragon spam >>; |
I agree with all of your cuts frostweaver but I somewhat disagree with Lightning Vortex. It could give the some field control and give Vampire Lord some uses for it's effect.
