Usually, I don`t use so important words, like "I swear"

Junichi September 8th, 2003 2:53 PM

It's so funny sometimes though! *Remembers this guy who said F*** You Man sticking out his middle finger (In a friendly manner) when another guy called him dumb cause of his low physics mark XD*

Haruka September 8th, 2003 4:50 PM

Well... Isn't that a sin you point your middle finger out?

No kidding... a lot of funny things are sinful.:rolleyes:

Haruka September 9th, 2003 3:35 PM

Funny thing are sinful? In what ways that make them sinful?

o_O Where did you hear that? I must be really sheltered. XD;
I guess it might depend on how you use it. Like my mom tends to use her middle instead of her index when she's reading. It's not like she's flipping teh bird to teh book. XD; At least.... I hope not. o_o;;
But even if people do use it meanly, I don't think it's sinful. Impolite, yes, but so are many things.

I know my post sounds utterly stupid. XB Live with it.

Haruka September 9th, 2003 4:14 PM

doing it on a book isn't a sin. It depends. If you use it in public, that would be a sin. If you directly use it at a person. Then it's still a sin.. Well, if this gets confusing, just send me a PM and we will talk it over.

It's sinful because it's a swear, not because it's funny. -_-

Soph September 9th, 2003 5:09 PM

i never swear. It's against my religion.

I considered swearing as a sin. I hate people when they swear.. saying cuss words to each other. I hate it. It's disrespectful.

22sa September 9th, 2003 5:58 PM

Swearing is a sin and hate is a sin too...

Miyu-chan September 10th, 2003 5:22 AM

I think that Swearing is a sin...o.o; I don't even say $hit or the D-word... I use something else. n_n;

Haruka September 10th, 2003 11:47 AM

I dunno why people put the D word in a book we read last year for reading class. I had no idea... :-|... But my teacher said it's used for feeling. :-\

Cherrim September 10th, 2003 11:51 AM

The "d-word" isn't really as bad as it seems. It's pretty tame. o.o;; Many people don't consider it to be as foul as the other words of its category which is why you'll see it used a lot in media and that. Same with the "c-word".

Heehee... I feel so childish saying (letter)-word instead of the actual word. ^_^;;

Haruka September 10th, 2003 12:25 PM

Well... the first meaning it shows feelings.. Like my computer got d-word-ed. Not considered as a swear.. but in this case...

d-word you would be considered as a swear. It's how you use it that changes the meaning. :P

mewthree w/armor September 10th, 2003 1:05 PM

I try not to swear but If I'm really mad it just comes out.

Dizzy October 4th, 2003 11:52 AM

Swears are fun , lol especially spanish swears lmao^^

Cherrim October 4th, 2003 1:59 PM

I just realized today how much I swear in other languages. Especially Japanese. o_O; I must've said "kuso" about 20 times while waiting for my mom to pick me up from class today. It's not terrible, but heck, if my Japanese teacher heard me... xD;;

22sa October 4th, 2003 4:47 PM

Lol my jap teacher usually lets people swear, just not swear loudly. I think in Japan and other Far Eastern Countries, people are use to casually swearing. The teachers/schools focus on other stuff, dunno n.n;;

G-LANCE October 4th, 2003 4:55 PM

i dont swear, but i do know swear words...

I think that too. x_x; My classmates swear just...just out of the blue. x_x; Sometimes in English too... x_x; But sometimes I say "Kuso!' n_n;;;;;; Is it that bad a swear word? In Chinese translations, it looks okay... n_n;;;

Since I don't really hear the, I don't know any Chinese/Easterns swears but the Far Eastern countries aren't Christian-dominated like North America and Europe are so I guess that's why they tolerate swearing well. :/

Miyu-chan October 4th, 2003 5:12 PM

yeah that's a good explaination. n_n; We still have some Christians in our class that swear though... n_n;;;

22sa October 4th, 2003 5:14 PM

LOL, maybe they aren't devoted. :P

I have knowticed many Christians are actively swearing too... x_x;;
