Snack Dunking

Eh...I know this is kind of random, but I suddenly needed everyone's opinions on this. Basically, I know people who love to dunk cookies in milk, donuts in coffee, etc. Apparently they say it enhances the taste, but that's beside the point at the moment. Anyway, do any of you like to dunk such things, and if so, what do you do it with and why?

Sammi November 9th, 2005 8:51 AM

It's not *that* random =P

I'm not a fan of dunking things. I like things the way they are, and without anything else on them (like strawberries, but that's a diffrent story).
The only think I dunk is fries in shakes. It tastes really good, but its kinda hard to explain why. ^^; But I haven't had a shake in ages.

All the time, usually with something chocolate and milk, pop, or juice. Sometimes I dunk pastries in milk as well; it just seems to taste better that way.

I dunk my cookies in milk and i have no idea why.

Snivi November 9th, 2005 9:17 AM

Rhykasho November 9th, 2005 9:23 AM

Myuureon November 9th, 2005 9:24 AM

Not really random, I dunk things all the time!

Pizza in Marinara sauce ;)

B-Baller November 9th, 2005 9:34 AM

The only things I dunk are oreos to milk (you can really taste the goodness of it, yummy) and fries to tomato sauce (if the fries have some salt and you mix it with tomato sauce, it sort of makes a spicy but sweet taste).

Sylphiel November 9th, 2005 9:48 AM

I love dunking cookies in milk whenever I have the chance to do so. I dunno about any taste enhancements, but I just love the way the cookies get soggy whenever they're put into milk. ^^;;. I also like putting graham crackers and milk together, for about the same reason.

I also dip pizza into garlic sauce...yum.

For the most part, I like dunking things because I like how two things taste together. ^^;

Choclate chip cookies in milk, or biscuits in tea or coffee and bread in soup

Crystal Clair November 9th, 2005 1:09 PM

No, not for me. I like my food separate thank you. I accept my food for what it is except that shrimp dumplings go too well with that sauce they come with. Oh gawd! Now I want shrimp dumplings and it's only Wednesday! (I eat them on Sunday.
It's so nice to see everyone's avatar again! There are some good ones.

I don't like dunking things.....it usually makes it too soggy for me. I generally prefer stuff plain, hard, etc.

Electric Hero November 9th, 2005 2:12 PM

I just can think of two times when I dunk food... Chips Ahoy! cookies/Oreo cookies in milk, and french fries in ketchup (specially when the fries have a lot of salt... salt makes all things more yummy! XD)

Kylie-chan November 9th, 2005 2:57 PM

I put pancakes into orange juice. 8D ...doesn't taste too bad, but still a bit odd. o_o; And I put biscuits into hot chocolate~ about it~

fallen_natsumixx November 9th, 2005 3:45 PM

I dunk cookies in milk, popcorn in orange jucie and Sprite, grilled cheese sandwiches in some sort of soup, bread in coffee and... I can't think of anymore. >.<

Chairman Kaga November 9th, 2005 4:13 PM

Well, when I meant snack dunking, I meant putting a cookie or cake into a liquid...kind of a strict definition that everyone missed, I guess >P

Anyway, I never do it. Liquids and soft, pourous solids don't mix, and it only makes for a soggy mess with a drink-flavored snack and snack-flavored drink. Especially milk; I drink three or four glasses a day but it's so nasty when it's been absorbed into a chunk of cake. Also coffee...I don't like cold snacks suddenly becoming hot and bitter. And that's pretty much it...though using the loose definition of snack dunking there're lots of things I like to pair with Garlic Butter <_<;

Linoone November 9th, 2005 4:20 PM

I do, but i do it in a unique way, i chuck the solid into the milk glass, stir and drink my breakfast, and then take another glass of pepsi and that's my breakfast, weird but original *faints*

Dignity November 9th, 2005 4:40 PM

Well I dunk fries in shakes, too, but only in vanilla shakes! ^^

Himawarii November 9th, 2005 5:10 PM

Hinoshi-chan November 9th, 2005 5:12 PM

Neko November 9th, 2005 5:42 PM
