Can somebody help me..?
See here, I have a bit of a problem.. Each time I get online to talk to one of my friends, I get paranoid and really, really nervous. It isn't because I like him or anything, since the fact that I do has been established for quite some time. But even when I just think of him, I still get an anxious feeling in my stomach.. Does anyone have any advice that would help me to calm down?

Oh this used to happen to me quite a while... a year ago to be exact.
Well, it's just natural for one thing. I get really nervous whenever there's that certain friend I have and she goes online or I see her at school and I get a bit nervous and my knees start shaking and stuff. Well, we've already established that we're friends (since I already told her how I felt about her but then she said no and after much thinking, I guess she's right because we both know that most high school relationships never last) and I still feel protective of her and nervous at the same time. What I advice is just that you relax, breathe slowly and just think of that person as a normal person. Just treat that person normally like you treat your friends and nothing special. When you think too much, you'll eventually get tied down by it and if you fall, you'll fall hard from it. If you really feel that you have a connection with this person, always take it slowly. I know it's hard but you can always try. |
Just relax, your saying? I try to.. I get what you're saying about just treating him like a normal person, thanks~ n-n

I used to get like that around a girl I liked...>Shrug.< I always get like that around girls I like, though.
I dunno why, or anything. I think it`s just a natural feeling that people get. |
Think of yuo and him in a situation you would feel uncomfortable in *hint, hint*, where you wouldn't dare want and then you'll feel better.
EDIT: if you don't feel like it's a big deal, then ya like him |
Mm, I guess its just part o' the package of lurving someone X3 I appreciate all your help, guys!

Yer...I have similar problems with this guy I know...I don't know why I like him because he isn't exactly popular...but I think I don't talk to him enough coz I'm shy. But maybe if you try Charizard Fire Gods' suggestion...That might work.... |
Ohh! Yes, I do! It does help, especially that I've been talking to him a lot this week~ :3

Embrace your inner stalker. Lol
I think it does have to do with the fact that you like him. Probably because of that you have a slight fear of saying something that would want him to disown you. Try not to be fearful. If you're friends, he shoudn't care if you say something stupid. |
It happens mostly for online realtions. (trust me i had ALOT of encounters.) You dun have to get nervous. usually u get that 'one-wrong-move-and-everything-goes-up-in-smoke' sort of thing.
My advice is stay calm and just, well, talk! Like what Tri Force said,he shoudn't care if you say something absurb. lolz As for the think about him and u go all mushy stuff,errr... Its probably just a crush like feeling. (I think. Dun blame me!!) It will probably wear off after a while. Considering that u keep talking to him. lolz |
