Ralts November 14th, 2005 2:15 AM

I think so.... well, we just can hope :(

Harthos November 14th, 2005 4:35 PM

What do you mean, exactly, by "survive"? Do mean "will it still be sold/available?

Shine the Hedgehog November 14th, 2005 5:00 PM

It probubly will at least I hope so.

haunter_northwind November 30th, 2005 10:46 AM

I enjoy playing Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald very much. Altough my data often erased. But, I never feel bored to play it again. Because the games are interesting for me.

I hope Pokemon Games are survive in 2006. No, not only in 2006 but also in the future. Beside they are survived, they also developed better then they are before. :)

Dragon-Chan November 30th, 2005 2:53 PM

R/B/Y still survive today, so I think...yeah.

Dragonite Tamer December 1st, 2005 9:38 AM

Well, the metal/colour generation are still very much alive.

[email protected] [email protected] December 5th, 2005 12:55 AM

Sure, the color/metel versions are still alive even up till now.The R/S/E will survive up to 2006 or even to 2008;)

Charizard-Kunâ„¢ December 10th, 2005 7:20 PM

Pokemon-Red,Blue,Green,Yellow aren't popular. Now noone cares about Pokemon-Yellow,etc. So I think R/S/E won't have a good chance of surviving. :(
I love those games. It will be a sad world for the people who like R/S/E if they don't survive. :(

saint jimmmey December 11th, 2005 4:24 AM

come on guys...pokemon will still be as popular as it is now it's just that there will be new games that will be even better.....

Eon-Rider December 11th, 2005 4:56 AM

RSE will definitely survive. It's one of the best Pokemon games, in my opinion.

Charizard-Kunâ„¢ December 11th, 2005 5:12 AM

Ya, but if they don't survive, then we can't do anything about it.

Latios-Latias December 13th, 2005 1:33 PM

It might survive but some people might forget about it if new pokemon games come out, like people did to y/r/b but i still play them.

DarkThunder December 13th, 2005 2:07 PM

They probably will survive(mostly Emerald).RBY I'm not sure but I like my silver version(even though I only got it last week).

Drifblim December 13th, 2005 6:26 PM

If Red, Blue, and Yellow have been alive for eight years now, then Ruby and Sapphire will enjoy yet another year of popularity.

brotlov December 25th, 2005 2:20 PM

Yeah I think that it'll survive in 2006, like look at Gold, people still play that.

Dare December 31st, 2005 1:32 PM

I personally think that the current generation will survive because of all the advancements it made. Abilities, Natures, a buttload of Pokemon (We went from 251 to 384 and later to 386 - pretty big leap compared to the first generation transitioning into the second), and double battles. A new era of Pokemon began with this generation, Pokemon became less of a fad and more of a fun, dependable franchise. It will be a sad day if RSFRLGE are ever forgotten.

Black Ice December 31st, 2005 9:01 PM

They will be forgotten eventually, but not for a long time.

Probably in over 15-25 years.Besides.For most of us it's New Years and New Years means it's 2006.That means if R/S survive now they are technically surviving in 2006.A better question would be:

Will R/B/Y/G/S/C/R/S/FR/LG/E/D/P(Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Firered, Leafgreen, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl)survive in 2007?
Answer:Yes(Definately D/P)

Space Guard January 1st, 2006 4:33 AM

I sure hope they don't get forgotten. As long as Nintendo keep Pokémon Games coming then they will survive. Don't forget that Pokémon Colleseum/XD probably make people want to buy them becaouse they want there own pokémon to fight in 3D. So as long as Nintendo are alive Pokémon will probably be not forgotten. D/P will boost sales as well!!

I want to see a pokemon game with a huge map with every pokemon in and loads of quests, which is completely different to previous games.

These games will always be remembered for being the originals. Pokemon R/B/Y will always be respected for the fact that it was THE RPG that changed gaming forever in the late 90's.

Lathspell January 2nd, 2006 11:22 PM

As long as there will be pokemon games, there will be other and other pokemon, and in that case, many people to trade them from R/S/E into the newer versions, just like it happened until now, so no pokemon version will dissapear until pokemon is still popular, and that will be for a very loooooooooooooooong time.
